A nice, clean and wel equiped appartment, situated in a vivid street, just one street behind the boulevard. Nice restaurants and places to visit nearby (Cabanas, V.R.S. Antonio, Tavira, Olhao and Faro)

Enjoyable stay
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jamie’s place for two weeks end of January/beginning of February. It is accurately displayed in the listing. The outdoor spaces were our favourite parts of the apartment. The apartment was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Jamie, the owner, communicated clearly and was available if we had any concerns (which we did not). We would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Great location- all you need by- street parking safe and accessible- good restaurants across the street and around the corner- wonderful boardwalk- make sure you go to cabanas beach across the harbour by boat for 2 euros per person return- Spar is a great corner store with all you need including wine for 1 euro per litre that is very good- weather in February and March this year was iffy and locals thought so too- hostess very friendly and helpful- cold wine and water greeted us on arrival- Robert went out of his way to help us- a wonderful stay at an exceptional location - highly recommended and we would go back

Excellent location
Cabanas was lovely. Location was excellent for restaurants, snack bars and supermarkets. The place had a nice vibe. The accommodation was spacious, lovely balcony plus a roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.

The apartment was everything that was advertised. A really comfortable home away from home in the centre of Cabanas. Fabulous place to enjoy a stay in this area.

Perfect location for us (couple in our 60s) everything you need within easy walking distance. Apartment although dated is well appointed and outdoor space is plentiful and varied. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long break thank you Jamie.

Lovely apartment in Cabanas
The apartment was very clean and comfortable.Right i the centre of Cabanas and a 5 minute walk to the boats to the beach. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures, check in and out were very easy. The terraces were a great place to enjoy a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine later. Thanks!

This property was such a special find. The small community makes the whole journey a perfect Portugal experience. We took many road trips, lots of nature walks and ate amazing food (for an incredible value). Jamie is a wonderful host. Hope to be back someday soon.

ideal break in a lovely part of Portugal
Easy location to get too & only 35mins from Faro. Cabanas itself has grown over the years but not too much that it is like the other popular holiday resorts nearby, still holds that small town feel with the local population at the heart of it. The apartment has everything you need and is central to all that is going on. We just love visiting Cabanas.

Another great stay in this excellent apartment .
We have absolutely loved all our stays in this excellent apartment and last couple of weeks were no exception. A lovely break from the rat race, and spending time up on the roof to chill and enjoy the sun is the best tonic ever. Everything is so close in easy walking distance and quite a few really good restaurants to enjoy nearby. We love this place and the locals make such a nice community to be a part of, if only for a couple of weeks. Thanks again Jamie for your great help and communication to ensure all was ok for us. Hopefully back soon !

Very nice lodging, street noise from restaurant across street can be a little noisy at times. Bedroom is on back side which helps from noise. Not much to do in the area, transportation is needed if you want to see more. We stayed in October so a little less touristy.

Lovely apartment in excellent location near to bars and restaurants and close to the beach
Lovely clean well equipped apartment, light and modern with all amenities on the door step, including 2 bars opposite but noise was minimal. Roof terrace was an added bonus, nice and private and sun or shade all day. The spiral staircase to it may not suit some people but we are in our 60’s and found it safe and easy. Cabanas itself was typical Portuguese lots of nice bars and restaurants and not too touristy.

Jamie the owner arranged everything for us from airport transfer, early access & someone to meet and show us around. The apartment is approx 100 mts from the Rio Formosa river/sea where you will find many bars & restaurants to fit all tastes also many water taxis to go to the beach approx 1 minute where a beautiful beach awaits and a very organised brolly and beds system operates with a beach bar & restaurant are available. an excellent holiday and one we needed. And looked forward to after pandemic we arrived and left through the Faro airport very smoothly no hold ups or long queues.

We love the area so much we have bought other apartments here. Do ask if you are interested in viewing these.

Cabanas apartment is only one street from the sea front promenade of Cabanas. Our private roof top terrace offers both sun and a protected shady oasis, as well as two other large terraces are a treasure.
