Spacious, Affordable Condo In Great Location
Award winning townhouse located next to the Stowe Golf and Country Club with views of mountains and golf course. Open floor plan with gas fireplace. Unit features 3 BR, 2 full baths in the Village Green Townhouse Resort Complex, a 4 Season Resort on Mountain Road between Stowe Village and Mt. Mansfield. 20 minute walk on recreation path or 5 minute car ride to quaint village of Stowe. Stowe recreation path winds 5 miles through beautiful woods, streams, and meadows from the village towards Mt Mansfield. Numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance of the condo. Free shuttle to and from Mt Mansfield in winter with scheduled stops at Village Green and various locations in the Stowe area.
Resort has indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, game room, and tennis courts. Well maintained grounds and very clean and maintained interior. All linens and towels provided. Unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths downstairs and large loft bedroom upstairs as well as queen sleep sofa in living room. Twin beds can be made into King size if needed. Sleeps 8. Fully equipped kitchen. Gas fireplace. Washer and dryer in clubhouse.
Stowe is a historic mountain town that combines a 200 year old village with Mt. Mansfield - Vermont's highest mountain. Stowe is reminiscent of the great European mountain resorts. The area offers endless recreation opportunities - skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain biking, road biking, golf, hiking, swimming, fishing. Your host
We are from Connecticut and have been vacationing in Stowe for many years.
Why they chose this property
We chose to buy at the Village Green because we have stayed there over the years and absolutely love the location, the friendly staff, the set up of the condo , the convenience it offers and the ability to just walk or bike everywhere. In the winter we downhill ski, snow shoe and cross country ski. In the summer we golf, hike, walk, bike, kayak and generally spend much time in the beautiful outdoors.
What makes this property unique
We think the Village Green offers the best possible location in all of Stowe and we love the fact that we can just walk out our door and be close to everything we love to do. There are beautiful views of Mt. Mansfield from our kitchen window and we can sit in the back yard and watch the golfers at the Stowe Country Club. The unit is spacious, homey, very well-maintained and easily accommodates our family and friends. The staff at the Village Green are extremely friendly and helpful.
