Great House on the popular “big lake” in the Arrowhead Lake community. We are located right on Arrowhead Drive a short distance from the front entrance and walking distance from the lodge. This five bedroom, two full bath mountain chalet boasts vaulted ceilings and great lake views from the large front porch, living room, and bedrooms. Relax and enjoy our lakefront getaway, including access to four beaches and three swimming pools. The houses are within boating or swimming distance of the Island Pool, tennis and basketball courts, and more and just next Beach 3 and a new playground (2020). Swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing are just steps away from this three-story vacation home. Sleeps 12 total, with five queen beds, four single beds (two bunks). Three televisions with HD cable TV, wi-fi, two fire pits, 5 paddle boards, sauna, weber gas grill, 2 kayaks, 2 canoe, and 14 ft. fishing boat are here for your enjoyment; life jackets and oars included.

Arrowhead Lake Community Access & Amenities Fees:
Every vehicle staying is required to purchase a gate card at $20.
Wristbands are 5/day, required for ages 12 and over.
Arrowhead transaction fee $20 for the rental.
All fees are included with up to three cars. Additional fee for four or more cars.
Towels and linens are included. Features include air conditioning on all three floors, large private deck with gas grill and patio set, flat-screen HD TV, DVD/blu-ray player, wireless internet, refrigerator and stove, microwave, toaster oven, and coffeemaker.

Perfect location for a lake getaway

This was a great house for a relaxing week on the lake! Being lakefront and having our own dock made it very accessible to enjoy all the boats and paddle boards that were provided. We caught tons of fish and enjoyed watching the nightly sunsets by the fire pit. The golf cart was also a nice touch to navigate the community with ease.

Best Vaca Yet

We've been to the Pocono Mountains for vacations for five or so years, and this was the best yet. Lake is perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking. The absence of motorboats was a huge plus for us. The deck and firepit were wonderful settings for family conversations, s'mores, and sunsets. Loved the stay.

I don't know where to start on how amazing this vacation was as always steph was right back to us if we called and needed anything at all. The house is very large and accommodated all 10 of us it made us feel like there was plenty of room and we weren't running into each other. The outside area near the lake is probably the best part of the home you're right on the lake and between the pool and both parts of the lake so kayaking, fishing and any water activities are easily accessable. The wildlife and fishing in this area is some of the best we've come across in the last 10 years. Bald eagles deer even a bear and so many fish were caught on a daily basis. So many wonderful memories were made on this weekend we are grateful to have found this place. Thank u again.. See you next year.

Great home, wonderful lake community

We really enjoyed our stay at Arrowhead lake. Stephanie’s home is very nice and comfortably fit our group of 7 adults and 6 children. The home has multiple paddle boards and a row boat for use, all in good condition, in addition to the golf cart which the kids loved to be taken on rides throughout the community. The sauna is AMAZING and a really great addition! The house itself is well kept and the outdoor furniture is all in great condition. The cleaning service did not do a great job, however, we find this to be the case in a lot of rentals and after doing a quick clean of our own, the house was great. The only thing I want to note for other renters is that the house does not have true central air conditioning, but rather 3 ductless wall units - one per floor. Luckily, one of my family members saw this on another review so we brought a few small fans and by keeping the bedroom doors open to allow the AC to flow throughout, we were all comfortable. Overall, we would definitely recommend this home and had a great trip.

Nice house with some issues.

Overall, we had a very nice stay, and there are some really great things about the house, as others have mentioned. But I think it's worth listing some of the things that made our stay less than ideal, which would have been good to know beforehand. The house is quite lovely, but people should know that it is a 10 minute to drive in and out of the community association. and a 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store. We also learned that all trash and recycling needed to be taken to the community entrance, and I guess as a result, there were zero outdoor trash cans at the house. That meant we had bags of trash piling up in the house (you can't leave them outside overnight or animals will get to them) until we had an opportunity to drive the 10 minutes to the entrance (with bags of trash in our car), which we did 3-4 times during the week. There were also no recycling bins in the house at all, so we had trash bags for recycling hanging off of cabinet door knobs, which frankly made me feel like I was back in college. It is also not really accurate to say that the whole house has AC. Two of the bedrooms do not have any, and when we asked about it, we were told the BR doors need to stay open so that the other room AC units can cool those rooms. Fine with us, but not everyone is ok with having to sleep with their BR door wide open. When we arrived, the propane tank for the grill was empty (which has happened to other guests, I saw), and we were unable to grill that first night. The refill was 10 minute drive away and $28 (which the owner did reimburse us for). All of the adirondack chairs in the yard were broken. The owner did order new ones, but they arrived 4 days into our stay. There are also no hooks whatsoever to hang bath towels, so you are forced to throw towels and bathing suits over open drawer fronts, doorknobs, etc. With seven people in the house, that became unworkable, so I asked the owner whether she might supply something for us to hang our towels. She thanked me for the suggestion and said she ordered them, but they never arrived. With regard to the owner, at times she was responsive, and at other times, not at all. Overall, we had a perfectly pleasant stay, but there were enough frustrations about the setup that we probably would look elsewhere next time.

Relaxation on the lake

Our group throughly enjoyed our time here. Lake front with kayaks, paddle boards, row boat, fire pit. The only things we brought was corn hole for family game outdoor fun and floats that we tied to the dock. It was so peaceful and plenty of wildlife. The ducks became our friends for the week. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom necessities. Thank you!!

Amazing family weekend

Great family vaca. We stayed outside pretty much all the time due to the lakefront beautiful views and all the great water toys they had to use. The wildlife is much more abundant then anywhere we have stayed. Fishing was great. Soon caught a 17 in large mouth bass it was perfect ending to trip. House was great size for all 10 of us with one child. Kitchen was very clean and had everything you could ask for. Never left the lake to go else where. There pool was very convenient located across lake and we could use kayaks to go across. Stephanie was always there for any questions and made sure if and when things were needed they were addressed asap. We can't wait to go back next year...

A fantastic family friendly location

Our stay was four families with 6 kids ranging 11 months to 7 years old. This property checked all the boxes for a relaxing week of family fun! There was plenty of entertaining space both indoor and out. There were plenty of paddle boards and kayaks for the family to enjoy the water. The kids loved the close access to the playground, riding the golf cart to play basketball, fishing, and going to the pool. We were all completely happy spending the week within the Arrowhead Community! The only challenge for us was the distance from grocery stores for feeding our large family and getting last minute kid needs.

Everyone had a great time doing all the activities provided at the rental and enjoyed winding down at the fire pit each night The only issues we experienced were the black ants in kitchen and bathrooms and it could have been cleaned a little better. Also for a rental that can hold 14 people the recycling bin was way too small.

A good time was had by all!! Ages 78 down to 1 and a half enjoyed fishing, boating and swimming. My knee issues make stairs difficult but the view from the deck was awesome and I was able to take in the activity from there when necessary The house was clean and well stocked Thank you for sharing it with my family

A week on the Poconos, 6/5-6/11 2021

Our stay at this lake house was very enjoyable for our family. We had 6 adults, 4 kids (2, 6, 11, 14) Plenty of sleeping space for all. The house was clean,, bathrooms are up-to-date, washer and dryer is nice and beds were comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of "stuff" for meal preparation and serving. Deck is nice, with plenty of seating, nice gas grills. The fire pit and chairs are awesome, plenty of wood was provided. Everyone enjoyed the visits from the ducks, deer and squirrels. We didn't do very good fishing but we also didn't try other spots, mostly fished from the very nice dock. The kids did catch a few. I would bring an electric trolling motor next time, the lake does allow that. Having the canoe, kayak and paddle boards, gives plenty of entertainment to enjoy the lake. The only downfall we had was we missed somewhere in the Arrowhead Lake information that the pools were only open on weekends until after 6/19/21. We luckily used the pool on Sunday to find out on Monday they wouldn't be open during the week, bummer for the kids. It was a warm week, so the kids did enjoy the nice beach and playground next door. Having access to the golf cart was also a plus. We enjoyed quite rides everyday, checking out the complex and seeing lots of deer close up. The house has a good location on the water and was very comfortable for all of us.

Our family of five lives in Media Pa, our summers are spent in Ocean City NJ. My children grew up at coming to this lake house for skiing in the winters and swimming in the summer. Unlike the beach vacations this house provides a perfect family vacation for those who want to truly relax.

Why they chose this property

Arrowhead lake is a great communities with lots of activities for all seasons. This location is best for 4th of July; it feels like the fireworks are just for our location from our private beach.

What makes this property unique

The view is amazing and we are in the best spot on the big lake, our dock is all season and my husband love to take sunset photos from this dock.
