About this property

Excellent choice of holiday for families or couples. One of very few Villas in Playa Blanca to have a full tourist license (VV-35-3-0002344). Spacious, exceptionally well equipped villa. Very private with walled and landscaped gardens giving all year colour. Large sun terraces with beautiful patio furniture providing an excellent level of comfort. Superb panoramic views across to Fuerteventura and neighbouring islands. Comfortable alfresco dining area for up to 10 people where you can enjoy long lazy evenings over dinner. Many of our guests return time after time which is testament to the quality and privacy that you will find at our villa. Complimentary wifi is available for our guests! Four sets of golf clubs are available for guest use on request-Free of charge. Two supermarkets and several restaurants are within 3 min walk - including 2 local bars that show all major sporting events on large TVs.The villa is located in a quiet residential area where our guests can enjoy a quiet, peaceful and relaxing holiday with dining and shopping a short stroll away.

Fabulous

This was our first time at villa Ruth, everything was fabulous from Fergus and his wonderful communication, to the location of the villa and the first impressions of Faro Park. The outdoor space of the villa is fantastic, all bedrooms a great size and a wonderful view of the volcano from the main bedroom with adjoining terrace. The outdoor space has a wonderful covered eating space, large bbq, fantastic outdoor sofas and chairs and sun loungers too, which provide many outdoor opportunities for relaxation and dining. We loved that this villa is just outside Playa Blanca yet had shops bars and restaurants within walking distance. We spent many days and evenings at the Marina Rubicón which has lovely restaurants and shops too.,There is parking for cars too. We just loved this villa and will definitely be returning very very soon. Thankyou Fergus, for sharing your fabulous Lanzarote home x

Perfect Break

The villa is in an ideal location on Faro Park with a regular bus service into Playa Blanca which runs hourly and costs 1 euro 40. Alternatively it is about an hours stroll along the lovely sea front into the resort.There are a good selection of bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets in the road adjoining the villa.The villa itself is beautiful, peaceful with a heated pool, well kept garden, patio and bbq area.Weather was perfect in January with temps of 21 to 24 degrees each day.The villa has everything you need, is well furnished and has a great full SKY package on the TV.Fergus the owner was great and kept in regular contact during the booking process. A lovely touch was arriving to a bottle of chilled wine, some grocery essentials and a lovely box of cream cakes.Perfect break from the snow and ice!!

Lovely location

Villa Ruth is a home from home. Well maintained property with a great indoors and outdoor area. Highlight for us was the covered terrace where many evenings were spend chilling out under the fairy lights.

Great villa

Great villa,great location. Immaculately clean. Kitchen had everything and more. Pool was lovely and warm,outside area had the sun all day. Ideal location. 2 minutes walk to local shops and restuarants. Perfect holiday. Would love to return.

Christmas break

Great short break for christmas. Lovely villa in a quiet area. Shops and restaurants nearby. Nice couple of hours walk to Marina Rubicon,etc. Car not necessary but an advantage.

a very nice, clean villa with lots of comfort. very good facilities and comfortable beds. the heated pool is a highlight. The location of the villa is just outside of Playa Blanca but you can reach Playa Blanca center in 5 minutes and there is also a small supermarket and nice restaurants right here. Fabulous 50th!

What a beautiful villa. Stayed for 4 night with friends to celebrate 50th birthdays and cannot recommend enough. The photographs do not do the property justice and it was just perfect. All amenities writhing walking distance and transport links excellent. Lovely restaurants and bars a short walk away but really, no need to leave the poolside…. Communication with Fergus was fantastic and there were no issues at all with the check in procedure. Highly recommend and thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful villa!

Fantastic stay at Villa Ruth

Villa Ruth is set in a really peaceful location in Faro Park. You have mountain and sea views to enjoy whilst enjoying the peace and quiet of your surroundings. There are enough local shops near by to get the basics with just a short drive into Central Playa Blanca for a bigger shop. The Villa is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The pool is a wonderful bonus, and heated too which makes for a lovely evening swim. We’ve visited Lanzarote on a number of occasions and always stayed in hotels but Villa Ruth is somewhere we hope we can return to. A really special find.

Paradise, a dream of a villa

Villa Ruth, Wow!!. The most beautiful, luxurious villa we have stayed at. The proximity to the restaurants and shops are amazing for starters, but Villa Ruth itself is a stunning villa, not overlooked, but with the most amazing views. The slightly heated pool was a luxury we've never experienced before and made swimming and playing even more enjoyable. Every time we stepped into, we'd smile and say it was paradise!. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is there and has been well thought out. The alfresco dining area was perfect for evening meals in and breakfasts in the morning. We travelled as a family with 2 children aged 13 and 11, they were delighted upon arrival to find cakes for them from the local bakery and even down to lolly ices in the freezer. And Mum and Dad were so grateful to find a bottle of wine in the fridge, which having just arrived, we were able to just sit and relax with a glass and take in our paradise for the next 2 weeks. We honestly couldn't recommend Villa Ruth enough and we are praying we are able to return in the next year or 2. Thank you so much Fergus for our wonderful welcome package and for allowing us to stay, you have given us memories to treasure!

Fantastic Villa & Owner

Great to find a fantastic villa that was as described and was just like the photos! Fergus the owner was a pleasure to deal with, from beginning to end, with nothing too much trouble and offers of guidance and advice. The Welcome pack even included a bottle of wine and a cake! Much appreciated! Villa, owner and his management team highly recommended.

Fantastic Villa

Even before booking the villa owner Fergus was grrat, answering the many questions I had and giving some great information about the villa and area itself. The villa is immaculate and clearly a much loved home, with everything you could possibly need provided, was great not to have to pack hairdryers and towels. When we arrived there was wine, water, bread and butter in the fridge for us, as well as tea and coffee etc. The area itself is lovely, with shops that are cheaper than duty-free and some lovely bars and restaurants. Highly recommended Villa Ruth, our family had a fantastic time

we couldn't have asked for anything more , beautiful property with everything you would need and in an excellent location . If you prefer hectic and busy then it wouldn't be for you but if you want a peaceful chilled holiday but not too far from bars restaurants and resorts then this is perfect

Fab Villa

Both the villa and Fergus were excellent. The villa was spotless and had everything you could possibly want to make your stay home from home, from the much appreciated welcome pack to the late checkout. The bus in to Playa Blanca at the end of the street as well as restaurants, supermarkets, bar and bakery. The area itself felt extremely safe and well looked after. The beds in the villa were the most comfortable we have ever slept in while on holiday. We were a party of 6 and none of us would hesitate to return and will recommend Villa Ruth in a heartbeat. Wish we were back there now.

Wow wow wow

Fergus has thought of everything plenty of everything,dishes,glasses,you name it it's there.3 generations of the same family aged from 11 to 75 and we were all catered for my wife put in the guest book that 5 stars wasn't enough ,it should be 7 star and everyone in my family agrees wholeheartedly. The area is really well catered for with restaurants bars supermarkets baker and even an hairdresser within a hundred metres. Buses into playa blanca are frequent and inexpensive but if you have to get a taxi they are also very inexpensive. Can't recommend Villa Ruth highly enough,loved every minute we were there.

Fantastic Villa & Location

Villa Ruth was exactly as described in the listing and exceeded all expectations. Location was perfect for us, a 2 minute stroll to the shops, bars and restaurants with enough variety to keep us entertained, watered and fed for 2 weeks. The villa itself was nicely tucked away providing peace and quiet when we wanted it. Buses were every 30 mins and just 1.40 euros one way to anywhere on the route, Playa Blanca centre just 15 minutes away. Perfect for us as we didn’t want to hire a car. The villa itself had everything we needed, barbecue, beautiful warm pool and lots of sunshine of course. All of the beds had very comfortable mattresses, much better than our own at home in fact. Had a little issue trying to operate the modern induction hob but instructions were to hand and soon sorted. The undercover area outside the kitchen was where we spent all our evenings and provided a lovely cosy atmosphere for playing cards, games and having a drink or two! The heated pool was idyllic and we spent loads of time in there! Plenty of sun beds and towels too. The living room was nice but we only used it once as we preferred to be outside. The key safe is a brilliant idea, in fact, we intend to install one at home as a result. I must give a massive thank you to Fergus who was more than helpful from providing a detailed information pack to allowing us a late stay due to our evening flight, very much appreciated. We used lastminute transfers (confusingly branded as firstminute transfers on their vehicles) to get to and from the airport and would definitely use them again. Very reliable and friendly people. We only went into Playa Blanca itself twice but it is a lovely smallish town to while away a few hours. Our favourite places in Faro Park were Le Moka for breakfast (great value for money and gorgeous cakes), Bill’s Bar for evening drinks (really friendly, pool table and showed the women’s football) and Del Trevisano for food (we are part Italian so slightly biased but very friendly and great food). We have never returned to the same resort before but subject to availability and our family getting the time off, we will definitely be booking again next year. Just can’t recommend Fergus and Villa Ruth enough, fantastic!

Luxury Villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fergus’ beautiful villa. It is has everything you could possibly need for a very pleasant holiday. Very clean and tidy, plenty of towels and extremely comfortable beds. The outside space is fantastic with a delightful garden, large dining area, super comfortable sofa and chairs and the icing on the cake was the heated swimming pool. We enjoyed great communication from Fergus who provided comprehensive information about the villa and kept us up to date with local information whilst we were on holiday. We highly recommend Villa Ruth and very much look forward to a repeat visit the next time we holiday in Lanzarote.
