This is the ideal Lake George Getaway location. Private Lake Access, House is located on the waters edge. Lake Views from some of the bedrooms. Fantastic lake and mountain views from the kitchen and living room. Cabana on the lower dock at the waters edge includes a second full size refrigerator, microwave, and large grill. All new kitchen and bathrooms (2016). Home is set up to be the most convenient and comfortable vacation destination. Includes quality bed linens and towels.

Great dining areas on screened in porch, upper sun deck, lower dock, dining area off kitchen and a breakfast bar, all with lake views.

Our family had a wonderful stay during one weekend of the winter carnival. It was peaceful and comfortable at the house. Best of all, the host was very quick to respond to our questions and requests. Great host, will book again if possible.

Great family getaway
The property was everything we needed! Well stocked with kitchen items, wonderful views, ample bedding and towels. Having a washer and dryer is a great bonus on a busy family vacation. There’s even a climbing wall for the little kids to get their energy out on. Highly recommend!

An incredible time at an incredible property
When we arrived we were so happy with how clean and organized everything was and just how many amenities there were. The Wifi was fast, the tv seemed to have every service we could think of, we didnt check them all, we were happy with the guest Netflix account and the cable for when we got home exhausted from our days out on our long weekend. But enough about the tv, the outside is why you rent a place like this and it didnt disappoint! So much seating on the top of the deck and below, paddle boards, fishing rods, my nephew found goggles to make his swim confortable. If you can't enjoy yourself out back at this property, the lake might not be for you. We swam, we grilled, we spent ample time in Lake George village mini golfing, looking around the shops and Frankenstein's Wax Museum (which has been updated since my last trip up here in 2015 surprisingly). And of course we dined at The Ridge Terrace for dinner, personally my favorite restaurant I've ever been to and no trip to Lake George is complete without it! Oh, and on my seventh trip here, i figured it was finally time to board one of the boats and sightsee out on the lake since i don't own a boat of my own,so we took the sunset sightseeing tour on the Saint Sacrament where I may have finally put a ring on my girlfriend's finger after 6 amazing years together. If you read these reviews, Thanks so much David! Your property was amazing and the entire group loved it so much!

Family LG trip
Great stay- love the boathouse. Such magical sunsets and meals listening to loons and gazing at the lake. Great location near lots of hikes and LG village close by. Have a 2 yr old and especially nice to have toys there he can play with. Also fantastic that they have paddle boards and kayaks there. David was quick to respond to any questions. Enjoyed our stay immensely

Summer Week on Lake George
What a beautiful piece of property on a stellar part of Lake George - close to all. We found David's place to have the perfect mix of comfort , location and boaters / fishing paradise. We rented a boat for the whole stay - the dock, pier and deck above were perfect for what we needed. The amenities absolutely met the mark !!

Fall weekend getaway!
We loved everything about David’s place…especially the deck out back and the screened in porch! It was a perfect fall weekend getaway. David was extremely responsive and got back to us right away when we had a question. Would definitely stay here again!

Labor Day at the Lake
David was great, the power actually went out during our stay and as soon as he was notified he reached out to over a generator option. The power came back on within a few hours but it was nice to hear from him checking on us without needing to reach out. Overall great experience with all we needed for great time away with our family.

Great stay at the lake house!
My family and I had a great stay at Dave’s lake house. You can tell he takes pride in his house and sharing it with his guests. Everything was kept very clean and sheets and towels were well kept and spotless. Kitchen is fully stocked and had all you would need. We were able to bring and dock our boat which helped us a lot. Outdoor activities such as firepit and paddleboards and kayaks were great and we definitely made use of them in our stay. Overall, we had a great stay in the lake house. Was such a nice relaxing week with a great view. We will return in the future!

Quaint house, beautiful view, NO PRIVACY
We booked this trip for our summer vacation, and we had very high hopes. We felt there were a few things on the listing that were not accurate. For example, it is listed as having 2.5 bathrooms. There is one full bath, then a room with a shower and a sink and then another room with a toilet and a sink, that totals 2 full baths or 1 full and two halves. Another thing is the refrigerator and freezer were full of milk and food and that was perishable and did not leave us with much space for our own food. It is also listed having a boat dock if you chose to rent a boat however there was a boat docked there the entire time. There also was a smaller boat docked on the property that is not mentioned at all in the listing. Another thing is the pictures of the swimming area are misleading. We learned this one day while we were swimming and the neighbor's boat pulled in just 3-5 feet from where we were, it was dangerous. It is listed that you can park on the grass next to the cars if you need space. We did that and then we were met by the owner who scolded me asking why we would do such a thing. The owner also told us that the neighbors were saying that we were a nice family and one guy loved to fish all day, which was true, so we felt violated like we were being watched. The owner was there after check in with some family members. This goes against a co vid friendly contactless check in and check out policy, we chalked it up to the owner wanting to show us around. Later in the trip I was alerted that the owner of the boat needed to retrieve something from the boat and sure enough there we are sitting down and this woman walks down the property and is on the boat docked in the dock we rented for about 20 minutes. On one day the landscapers were on the property for about an hour. There was an accident that occurred and left damage to a wall. We paid for insurance through VRBO then we got an email from the owner asking to pay for the damage. We asked for a receipt and if they went through the insurance and we haven't heard back since. We felt as though we were an inconvenience to the owner, and we did not feel comfortable between misleading information and then 6 people having been on the property through out our stay that we did not know. We were so upset we ended up leaving a day early. The view is beautiful but not worth the money and the hassle you will get.

WHAT A VIEW!!
The house had a million dollar view. It was an older home with very comfortable beds, plenty of linens and a well stocked kitchen. New appliances throughout. The firepit had abundant dry wood and became our go to spot after sunset. we cant say enough about the deck over the boat dock!! The fifth bedroom was more of an adjoining room that would be great for children. But overall an awesome place to stay for our trip. Dave was responsive and easy to reach.

Winter family getaway
The house was everything we were looking for- plenty of room for our family of 5, wonderful lake views and easy drives to town or for hikes. Everything was clean and well maintained and the kitchen had all the tools we needed for preparing a nice dinner at “home”. David was a wonderful host who checked in on us to make sure we were set. We will definitely return!

Perfect location on the lake.
Great location on the lake. Beautiful sunsets. Close to downtown by boat or car. The dock was amazing and really the main reason you rent the house. The house is older but functional. Renovated kitchen and bathrooms are nice. The owner had everything you need in the house which was a big plus. Would definitely stay again.

Girls weekend get away!
We are 5 respiratory therapists that needed a break from covid. This was such an oasis for us. The home that David shared with us was JUST BEAUTIFUL! We had so much room and so many extras went with this house. We truly felt “at home”. We didn’t want for anything and everything was there for us to have such a relaxing vacation. I would recommend this awesome house and it’s owner to anyone who will listen. It WILL be the best house you have ever rented in Lake George. Thank you again David. ❤️

Lifetime vacationer at Lake George. Finally able to buy a home on the lake. Absolutely wonderful location and community. When I am able I spend as much time at the property as possible. Every season has its unique enjoyment. I am at the lake weather it is mid January or mid summer. Always relaxing, always invigorating

What makes this property unique

Assembly Point is the premier location on Lake George. It has a rural feel but you are 15 to 20 minutes from Supermarkets, Malls, Theaters, World Class resturants.

The sunsets are perfect. The swimming is perfect right off the dock. Water depth ranges from 2' to 6' right from the dock sandy bottom. Enough room for 2 boats. 3 Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboard available for guests use
