Situated in one of the least developed and most scenic parts of the island. The villa is situated among the trees and well-tended gardens on the hillside. The spacious and comfortable villa enjoy fine views and has the added benefit of its own freshwater swimming pool. The location makes it ideal for those who want to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this charming fishing village. In the peace and quiet of the hills forested with olive groves and pine trees you can spend your day relaxing by the pool or settled on the beach in one of the many little secluded coves, or you can take a drive through the tiny mountain villages in the centre of the island, over the spectacular beaches of the east coast which is easy to reach from the villa. The villa is on the East Coast of Corfu, about one hour drive from the airport.

The best holiday

We spent 2 of the most idyllic weeks in this beautiful cottage which had the most spectacular views and is very secluded. The property was immaculate and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is situated away from the most ‘touristy’ part of the island which for us was perfect! The island is beautiful and picturesque, its people are friendly and to our shame spike such perfect English we barely said a word in Greek. This will be the only thing we endeavour to change the next time we stay!

Lovely break

We had a really good week. We do feel that the property description could give a better idea of location - it's not in Agios Stephanos, but a 5 minute drive up the hill. We also feel that the property lacks some basics. There is for example a footpath to Stephanos a few yards away from the villa (20 mins downhill) but no mention of it in the villa information. Also instructions for the air-con, guide for local shops and facilities. Andreas was really helpful when we asked, but a villa guide would have been very useful. And there's no sharp knife or garlic press.

Perfect holiday villa in beautiful part of Corfu

We had a great holiday. The villa is situated a few minutes drive out of the picturesque and peaceful Agios Stefanos (NE Corfu) and about 10 minutes from the large, livelier town of Kassiopi . While you do need a car to get around , you do not need to drive far to go to a lovely selection of bays or indeed up into the hills.There is a selection of quality tavernas in Agios Stefanos and it was a real pleasure to eat outside overlooking the harbour .The villa is immaculately clean and comfortably decorated.The kitchen area is small but was certainly adequate for our needs as we ate lightly during the day and ate out most evenings. The pool was lovely and our two teenage boys were n and out of the pool throughout the day. The owner, Andreas, is friendly and very helpful . He works hard to ensure that the villa and garden and pool are well maintained . He is also easy to contact if needed. This area of Corfu feels quite select with quality villas set among the quiet and shady Olive groves. While looking for a holiday villa , I noted some very expensive villas in this area. Maestro villa offers a taste of this life at a reasonable price .Thank you, Andreas.
