You can rent one condo which sleeps 4 or both condos (the condos can be connected) which would sleeps 8 Each condo is one bedroom with a king bed and a each condo has a double pullout couch in the great room

The price doubles if you rent both

We also do not break up weekends


Welcome to Back Bay Condominium's at Put-in-Bay. We have two second floor units, located adjacent to each other, for rent for the 2024 season.

We love our visits to the island and we hope you will too. The Zeitzheim Family has owned both these Put-in-Bay condominiums for more than 20 years.

Back Bay Condominiums are located on the corner of Toledo Avenue and Langram Road on the water near downtown Put-in-Bay.
In fact we are just about a three minute stroll from the heart of the island's downtown district where you'll fine unique shops, more than a dozen restaurants, all kinds of attractions and loads of entertainment. After a day full of fun activities, come home to a relaxing condo on the lake where you can enjoy breakfast on the balcony with a beautiful view of Kelleys Island and the Perry Memorial, or an evening watching your favorite television show or movie. Both units are spacious and open and are located adjacent to each other.
A metal gate separates each of the condominium units along the large balcony they share on each floor. The gate between our units can be unlocked when both units are rented by the same family or group of friends to make entertaining easier.
This wooden deck provides a nice view of the lake and overlooks a large lakefront yard. There is deck furniture at both units for your use.

Off Season Getaway

This is an excellent location to relax to the sounds of Lake Erie lapping ashore. Great sunrise photo opportunities. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay.. we didn’t sleep that great the beds were hard.. also could use a deep cleaning. There was spider webs hanging from the ceiling fan and it was very dirty under the washer and dryer. Wish the coffee they had wasn’t expired. Otherwise the place was great.l and spacious.

My husband and I just stayed for a couple nights and we loved this condo! The sunrise from our deck was perfect! The place is spacious and very clean. It has all the basics including a smart tv which is very nice. The location is walking distance to all the stores and restaurants. The bed is very comfortable as well. Would definitely consider staying here again if we ever go back.

Waking up to the waves

We love waking up and looking out the window to see the waves crashing or listening to them on the balcony. This is a great place to stay and it’s nice to have a full kitchen and the space to feel like you’re at a home away from home. It’s great to be so close to everything you could walk there but far enough that you are away from the crowds at night.

This was our second time staying at Back Bay condo's, the condo has plenty of room and very clean. The outdoor balcony on the water is beautiful. The location is perfect so close to downtown and right down the road from AB Cart rental. Check in & out was easy.

Condo has been remodeled is much nicer than the photos. Property owner was polite and helpful. Condo was ready hours before check in time which was a plus. Only negative is that the pull out couch is some what broken so getting that out was pretty hard. Great location in PIB, great balcony and plenty of household items available for use. Planning our trip for next year and hope to stay at this location again.

Nicely Maintained Lakefront Condo

First off, the property owner was very communicative. The owner provided all needed information well ahead of time and checked in again the morning of arrival. The willingness to be available is much appreciated and provides assurance that had there been an issue, it would’ve been easy to alert them. The unit itself. Overall it was quite nice. Lakefront property in Ohio faces quite a few challenges with the large and sometimes rapid temperature and weather changes. Despite that, everything was a quite good condition. Something to be aware of is this is not a newer building. As such, some of the sound proofing is not at a level that perhaps one would expect at say a more modern hotel. This results in hearing some footsteps of someone that is occupying a unit above. While not at all a problem and is something that should be expected, it may surprise some who’ve never stayed in a non-new design building. The only other related thing to note is this building is located to another, larger “resort” type condo complex, which has an outdoor pool and an outdoor bar. We stayed during the week (Monday through Wednesday) and had ZERO issues, but I would imagine on a weekend or during a busy stretch, sound could carry over. During our stay however, there was NOTHING but the sounds of waves all evening and night. As for the waves, the shore is perhaps 40 feet from the balconies. The view looks toward Kelly’s Island. Overall, excellent stay.
