DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY
Although attached to the main 14th century house, this charming apartment is completely independent with it's own entrance and garden, there are lockable gates providing secure parking. For those who like self-catering it's ideal, the kitchen area is well-equipped with a large fridge, gas cooker and microwave. The bedroom and sitting room are both painted in restful colours, and have antique furniture.
The log burner provides warmth for those cool summer evenings or cold winter days which make it lovely and cosy. There is a 25€ charge towards the heating in winter.
COVID
If you are infectious, we would be grateful if you cancelled! If you have been exposed to COVID please warn us and wear a mask on arrival.
3RD PERSON CHARGES
The sitting room has a sofa, which is actually an antique bed and it can also be used as a bed for a child or third adult; although this arrangement can make accommodation rather cramped, so it really is better for 2 people only. If 2 guests wish to sleep separately there is an extra charge of 20€ for the sheets for the single bed/sofa.
Please note: we charge 60€ per week extra for a third adult, (plus 20€ for bedlinen and towels) children are free up to 12 years old, plus 20€ for bedlinen and towels.
The main house, where we also have 2 B & B rooms, is suitably situated so that apartment guests can remain private if they wish as the B&B guests have use of our own garden. Please, absolutely NO SMOKING INDOORS, there is a smoke alarm.
CLEANING AND BREAKAGES
We don’t charge for cleaning, but we do expect guests to leave the property as they find it. Breakages happen but we don’t ask a deposit, the odd glass is OK. Other than that we trust our guests to be kind enough to replace what they’ve broken, or inform us and donate where that’s not possible.
PETS- DOGS ONLY
We occasionally allow medium sized well-behaved dogs, but please ask first as it is to our discretion. If we accept it will be ONE dog only at a charge of €2,50 per night. With regret we do not allow cats or any other animal, caged or otherwise.
LATE ARRIVALS
If guests for the apartment or the B&B arrive on a Sunday evening, we can provide a meal (vegetarian only) for 20€ per person plus wine.
Equally, if guests require some basics shopping in case they arrive too late to shop, they can give us a list so we can buy things they need.
