A dream 4 bedroom holiday villa, situated in a peaceful village. The south facing 10 x 5 metre infinity pool and terrace are bathed in sun from morning until evening and there is a gazebo with rattan table and chairs for shaded outdoor dining. The terrace, which surrounds the pool is so spacious its like being at a small hotel, so every body can have their own space. There is also a multi-gym and treadmill for our more energetic guests!
The leisure facilities and all indoor furnishings are of the very highest standard to ensure that our guests have a luxurious and unforgettable holiday in a homely atmosphere. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen are all very spacious and give easy access to the rear terrace and pool. Free wifi. All bedrooms have balconies with either pool or open views. Front and rear gardens are landscaped with palm trees, aloe vera and other Mediterranean plants and trees. Large pool towels are provided.

Fantastic Holiday destination

We have just returned from 2 weeks in this villa which is amazing and lives up to the pictures. It was clean throughout, the pool and patio areas are in fact bigger than the pictures look and is perfect for all. The infinity pool is amazing and the house has everything you need including all the amenities. The other bonus is that there are English plugs so no adapters needed. The air conditioning is great and works well although sometimes it can cause the MCB to trip which just needs re-tripping on the main circuit board outside the house. The villa is situated close to Larnaca and only 40 mins away from both Ayia Napa and Limmsol which we visited. A car is a must have as this location is slightly remove, but quite and relaxing. Angela was great and very helpful. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful house in a small village

We stayed in Seren Villa for 2 weeks from 7th to 21st Oct 2018. The pool and huge patio are great for relaxing, but be warned the pool is not heated and took us a while to get into. Once in its great. The villa is about 10 years old and is generally very nice, but could do with a coat of paint outside in places. Angela, the Property Manager, says this is happening soon over the quieter winter period. Internally the house is very comfortable and has a huge lounge/dining area. There is a "smart" TV, but as it does not have either satilite or terrestial TV you need to plug in a laptop or memory stick to watch pre recorded films or progams. There is also a Nintendo console, but as I am not technical, I didn't really understand this. I would have preferred a TV that I could have watched the BBC news on. Angela is very helpful and friendly. We paid her directly into an English bank account, and it meant there were no worries about exchange rates etc. She communicated by e-mail very speedily, and as she lives locally was on hand to help and guide us. Alethriko is about 15 minutes from Larnaka Airport by car, and easy to find. It is also about the same distance from the sea and beaches. You do need a car to explore and find the beach that suits you-Zygi, with free sunbeds, loos and changing huts and a selection of restaurants/bars was one of the nicest but about 35 mins away. Alethriko, only has two restaurants-Kokos Taverna is a 10 minute walk away. Food is simple, freshly cooked for you and so cheap we thought the bill was wrong. The other tavern, is a bit further away- say a 20 min walk or 5 min drive. It is next to the Bakers-which also sells milk, beer and a selection of groceries as well as bread and cakes. There are no bars in the village. The roads are generally quiet, but there is a speed hump close to Seren Villa and sometimes trucks going over can be a bit noisy. Apart from that it was very peaceful

the villa was clean and had every thing needed for a comfortable stay. the outside pool area exceeded our expections and was very clean and well maintained. There was also lots of inflatable in the garage for use in the pool. booking was easy as angel kept in good contact. we paid by bank transfer with no problems. a car is needed. only down side is there is no bar within walking distance only . would highly recomend.

Stunning family villa

We have stayed at this villa previously last year and again it didn't disappoint!!! The owner has recently installed a modern Smart TV and boosted the Wi-Fi The villa has everything you need for a comfortable family holiday...and that pool!!! It's breathtaking!!! Great amenities...very helpful property manager Anglea who is on hand for anything you need. Nestled in the village of Alethriko with is local bakery and shops...we've visited many times before. We will most definately be back again!!! Highly recommended

Amazing villa in a gorgeous little Cypriot village

We absolutely loved this villa. It was perfect from the inside decor and amenities to the beautiful spacious outside with a stunning pool. There were some pool items in the garage which the children used. The house was spotless. The girls found a doll house which they loved playing with! We booked through Angela direct by bank transfer and it was such an easy process! She came to see us and told us about nearby areas. It was reassuring we could contact her if there was a problem (but there wasn’t!). We will definitely return here and eat at Koko’s Taverna which is a short walk away from the villa. Thank you Angela!

Perfect family villa in quiet village location

Well equipped, clean villa in a quiet village. Close to lovely local Tavernas, bakery, and small supermarket, and only 15 minute drive to/from Larnaca airport. Children spent most of the holiday in the amazing pool, and we all enjoyed the excellent outdoor space with BBQ and shaded seating area. Payments made direct to the villa manager Angela, and the security deposit was returned quickly after we vacated. Thoroughly recommended for families, or couples wanting to benefit from a peaceful getaway. We have stayed at Seren villa 3 times already, and will no doubt return again. Thanks to Angela for making the bookings, payments, and holiday a smooth, hassle free process.

WOW WHAT A FIND — SUPERB VILLA

I am sitting writing this review in 40 degree wall to wall sunshine under the gazebo at Seren Villa before taking a dip in the glorious and very inviting infinity swimming pool. The pool is a really good size extremely large and spotlessly clean with walk in steps which make it easily accessible for both the young and the old alike. With the Villa being on a double plot the patio area around the pool is massive with plenty of space for a large group to sit outside and still have loads of room. We have stayed in many hotels with a lot smaller patio area than this Villa has, it really is an excellent size. The Villa is spotlessly clean and really lovely with 4 bedrooms and is huge with air conditioning throughout and additional floor standing fans if required. TV and WiFi are spot on too and the WiFi also works well outside. The Villa provides all the home comforts that you will need. Alethriko is a very quiet area of Cyprus very peaceful and relaxing and only 20mins from Larnaca Airport the village has a couple of small supermarkets, a very good bakery and a couple of restaurants only a short drive away, a car in my view is essential as there are so many places to visit while on the Island. This is our second year at Seren Villa and we will be returning again soon and our third holiday booked through Angela the property manager. We always pay Angela via bank transfer and our security deposit is returned within a couple of days it is an easy and safe transaction. Angela lives in the village and can help you with anything you need. Angela is a genuine lovely lady who cares very much about all the Villas she manages and the people that are staying in the Villas. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she will go that extra mile to help you enjoy your stay. We now have a new friend in Cyprus who is honest, trustworthy and extremely helpful. I would truly recommend Angela and Seren Villa for your next holiday.

A great family villa with plenty to do

The villa was even nicer than we expected, well kept, good decor and not far from the beach, Lanika and the local restaurants/bakery, We spent most of our time around the large pool, either playing around it or within it. The gym in the garage allowed me to monitor the children whilst working out which was a real bonus, as I could exercise whilst being on 'watch'. The large lounge with large smart TV allowed us to relax on the huge sofas and enjoy Netflix as a family! The villa was clean on arrival and the easy to locate for the taxi. Angela (managing agent) who we paid in advance via bank transfer also visited us after we settled down to provide good advice on local beaches and super markets etc. Angela also organised a hire car for our stay + taxi from the airport which worked out well. The hire car was idelivered on our first day, and we delivered it back to the airport on our return, Angela was very friendly and gave us lots of tips to enhance our stay. Not the best holiday (mouse drops, ants and terrible internet speed)

Few annoying points which really impacted our holiday: - The day after our arrival, we have been informed by the property manager that they found a mouse drops when cleaning the property a few days before. she placed traps but couldn't catch it.we found mouse drops a few days later in the bathroom and living room which means the mouse still living with us. My point was, I should have been contacted by telephone or email prior to my arrival and shared the situation and offered a full refund or alternative accommodation if I am not happy with the property status. - Since we arrived at the property we noticed ants on the kitchen surfaces, the property manager advised us to buy some spray to clean the area I don't think it is my responsibility to clean and do pets control during my holiday. - Internet speed was terrible, nightmare, useless, kids cartoon on youtube was buffering all the time, couldn't stream music or live TV channels. the speed was 0.07mbps comparing to UK basic broadband speed around 15mbps or more. I was unable to use mobile apps to check tourist destinations to visit or checking emails. the Property manager came back that the owner will increase the speed but it will take 4 to 5 days (I cant trust this happening) - Air Con unit in the living area was not working, had to wait 3 days till the engineer came and fixed the compressor. - We criticised the cleaning level because we found the mouse drops. then we clarified the misunderstanding that those are new drops from the mouse and the cleaning was done properly but. HOWEVER, the property manager was insulted by our criticism and decided to cancel the planned mid-week cleaning because her job is not meeting our expectations. we had to apologise that we were stressed from living with a mouse!!!! was not the expected reaction from a professional property manager. Good points: The villa's location and size were lovely, amazing swimming pool. having a car is highly recommended as you are in the middle of nowhere. 15 min drive to Larnaca's seaside I believe the above issues are essential and easy to fix, having a pets control company cleaning the villa on regular bases will fix the above issues and spending more money on a better broadband deal will fix the internet speed issue.

The most beautiful villa

This villa comes highly recommended!! We, the seven of us, including two sets of grandparents and a 4 year old, have stayed in Alethriko many times. Villa Seren is the nicest we have stayed in to date! The villa its self is beautifully decorated and kept. There is plenty to do and has all the things you need to feel at home. The WIFI is strong and reliable too. Then you go out to the amazing pool...the highlight of our stay. My 4 year old learnt to swim this year. Its stunning. There are great facilities outside. And the villa manager Angela is fantastic. Any issues or questions, she is always on hand to answer and rectify. The reason we return year after year!! A car is a must but the village is lovely with a taverna and shops etc. We are booking again for next year....10 out of 10!!

Stunning Villa

Stayed at this villa for a wedding in Cyprus, its a gorgeous villa with pretty much everything you need for a very comfortable luxurious stay in Cyprus. The area is very quiet and very close to the airport by car which for us was essential, its easy to get to Larnaka for the hustle and bustle and one gorgeous beach. The manager Angela was a star, very helpful and we had no problems finding the villa or getting in very late by the time are flight got in, she also got us shopping in which was very welcome as by this time there where no eateries open. My only negatives really are that the beautiful pool could do with some heating when the nights start to get colder as it was very bracing until the afternoon at the earliest and the BBQ is gas, very minor, for that I would give it 4.5 stars but cannot. The local taverna was very nice and easily walkable but take a torch, I had the best bottle of wine the whole holiday there, the staff where great and its very reasonable, there is a lovely bakery which has other bits and bobs too that is about a 15 minute walk which was great. All in all a lovely time was had by all and we would not hesitate to go back.

An amazing villa with a fantastic pool

The best villa we have stayed in. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday. It's very spacious lots of room for everyone. There was 5 adults and 2 small children. The villa is very safe for the kids even outside the pool was not worried at all. The pool is absolutely amazing, you really do have to see it to believe it even with everyone in the pool it was still huge. Plenty of pool toys in the garage you can use all the floats and the toys in the villa. I definitely recommend booking this villa. Angela the property manager is absolutely wonderful anything you need or help with anything she is there for you. Only a phone call away. This is the 2nd time booking a villa through Angela it was very straight forward very easy to book from enquiry to paying by bank transfer much easier as you get confirmation straight away. We stayed here for 2 weeks but wished it was 2 months. It is in a quiet village but the location is very good. It's not far from anywhere as the motorway is right there and has a very nice Greek taverna kokos just two min drive. The villa was very straight forward to get to only 10-15 mins from the airport which is perfect after a long flight with kids!!

It is ideal for a perfect family holiday

My family which included 6 adults & 4 grandchildren had a terrific time at the Serena Villa. The pool was a good size with steps which the kids found to be useful & the spacious area around the pool gave us all plenty of room. Inside the decor is very good with ample seating & bedrooms plentiful in size. Angela the manager was always on hand if we needed guidance on any topic & she was perfect to deal with throughout this most enjoyable holiday.

Seren delivers quality

This was our second visit to Seren Villa and this accomodation still delivers quality. Spotlessly clean, so so comfortable and peaceful. The size of this villa is exceptional with it's double plot size and huge swimming pool everybody can have there own space. With only a twenty minute drive from the Larnaca and the same to the beach you can rest and play as much as you want. Althought the local villiage is close by and there is a bus service into town. I personally think a car is a must. But if all you want a quiet ar restfull holiday Seren is the ideal place to stay. I must mention Angela from the management company. One of the most helpful and responsive person I have met. Nothing is to much trouble and if there is anything you might have a problem with she will be only to pleased to get it sorted for you. We like Seren so much that we have already booked two weeks in 2016! You will be assured a first class holiday with all the space you need to have a very enjoyable time at Seren Villa

Wonderful Villa

Gorgeous villa 15 minute drive from Larnaca town and perfect location for exploring the Island. Angela, the manager, could not do more to welcome you and to advise you on all the local sights and places of interest. Villa Seren

Our first Villa abroad holiday and it ticked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations. We found it was like being home from home with the added advantages of sunshine and a large swimming pool. We couldn't fault the villa it catered comfortably for four adult couples and two toddlers. Tavernas and shops within easy reach and an excellent hot food delivery service provided by Marina. Angela the Agent was superb, professional and very helpful. I would strongly recommend this visit and we are looking to return next year.

Excellent Villa

Our family, inclusive of 3 small children stayed in this very nice, bright & spacious accommodation for more than a month for their summer holiday. The village is small and provides a peaceful safe environment for a family get away. At the same time it is only a few minutes drive away from the airport and the town of Larnaca itself. The beaches, camel park, supermarkets also a short drive away. Renting a car is essential. The Villa itself is clean and well kept. It has a timed AC system to conserve electricity. Perhaps the best part of the Villa is an exceptional pool which is suitable for all family and thoroughly enjoyable. The Lady who manages the property is Fantastic. Always available, helpful and practical. She provided us with excellent unmatched attention and recommended home made food from Marina who was tremendous for quality and also arranged a housekeeper Debbie who is very hard working pleasant lady, both offered good value for money. It felt like a home due to the efforts of these ladies and very safe for the family. We would recommend this holiday for all families and would certainly visit there again... Thank you Angela!

Seren Villa

Seren Villa is a fabulous villa. Very spacious with lovely, comfortable furniture inside & out & beautifully clean. The large infinity pool is amazing and is cleaned 2/3 times per week, so it was always spotless & wonderful to cool down in on a hot summers day as well as being ideal for keen swimmers to do their lengths in! The outside area has plenty of sun loungers & umbrellas as well as shady areas to relax in plus a BBQ to enjoy. There is more than enough space inside & out for a family to enjoy without crowding one another. The area is primarily quiet residential with a couple of tavernas within easy reach as well as day to day shopping amenities in either Alethriko (loved the new bakery!) or in the next village. Everyone in the area so friendly and when we went on our early morning walks we would invariably stop and chat with the local residents. It is close to the airport (15/20 minutes) but away from the flight path & any associated noise. Would strongly recommend car hire ~ the roads & driving are generally good on the island being empty compared with the UK. In 3 weeks we never encountered one traffic jam! The villa manger, Angela, is great. There when you need her & quick to respond to any query, but not intrusive at all. Thank you Angela ~ we have no hesitation in recommending Seren Villa to anyone.

Seren Villa is owned by Jim, an aircraft engineer and his wife Karen who is a very dedicated mother to their two children and their golden retriever!

Why they chose this property

After looking all around Cyprus for a plot of land on which to build our dream villa, we finally found the perfect setting to live and raise our children. Alethrico is ideally placed out of town and away from the commercialised tourist areas but at the same time just a 10 to 15 minute drive into Larnaca for shopping and a 5 to 10 minute drive to the nearest beach. We spent several enjoyable years living in Cyprus in rented accomodation to then only stay for 3 months in our new home - a new opportunity in Germany meant we had to move on. We do plan to return permanently to our dream villa some time in the future, until then we offer our guests the luxury we left behind to enjoy for themselves.

What makes this property unique

This is the only villa in the area built on a double plot, which ultimately gives the obvious benefits of the outdoor area and luxury infinity pool. The terrace which surrounds the pool is so spacious it's like being at a small hotel so every body can have their own space.
