Our home has a quiet and open aspect with gorgeous 180 degree views over the Gers countryside. Inside it has 4 bedrooms (3 on the ground floor), with fans and also shutters to 3 of the bedrooms. 2 bathrooms - the master has an en-suite and the family bathroom has a large corner bath. We have a modern well equipped kitchen with a BBQ outside. There is satellite TV if you need to keep up with events and a fast WiFi connection. There are 2 veranda areas for eating and relaxing. The outside dining table extends to seat 14 so that you have space to entertain your guests. The swimming pool is 10 x 5m, 1.4 metres deep and is alarmed. The house boasts a south facing view of the local village of Bezolles and in the distance the view takes in the Pyrenees. Built in 2009 to our own design, the house was planned to be light and airy. Our goal for the outside was to be traditional but the modern design allows the house to be cosy in winter, yet cool & relaxing in summer. We designed the house so that all rooms come with a view. Set in approximately 1 hectare (not fenced) on a hill with a backdrop of mature cedar trees the house is approached via a stoned drive way through the vineyards and depending on what our neighbours are growing there is often a sea of sunflowers across the rolling hills.

The house was spotless, lacks for nothng in amenities, has nice spacious rooms, a lovely pool and stunning views.
Definitely an area of France we'd like to explore further.
Fantastic, modern house in the vineyards. Views for what seemed 50 miles in all directions, (140 degree views) and the Pyrenees in the distance. Peaceful but only 10 minutes drive from town, just what we needed to download and relax in comfort, read and relax in and by the great pool. Miss it already and will be back! Owners could not have been more helpful.
We have just had the most amazing two weeks at Coteau de Peres. From the moment we booked, Liz and Dave were fabulous at keeping us informed about everything we needed to know.
The house is beautiful and really well laid out. The pool was the highlight for us all and we spent a lot of our time in there cooling off from the 40 degree heat!
This was the first time we had stayed in this area and we will most definitely be coming back again in the future.
Thank you for such a lovely stay!
We enjoyed our trip. The house is in a very good, quiet location with a beautiful view of the sunflowers and vineyards. We ennjoyed the very well maintained swimming pool with pleasant water temperature. The 2 terraces are wonderful to relax on. A big plus for us is the provision of towels and sheets, which saves a lot of luggage to take with you. You can also use the washing machine. The contact with the owner was always smooth and very friendly.

Relaxing family holiday
We had a fantastic family stay at Coteau de Peres, our second in 2 consecutive years. The free WiFi catered well for our 2 teenagers and the peace, quiet and beautiful views catered for the 2 adults.
The property is beautifully clean and well maintained and has everything you need for a family holiday. The location is perfect for us with small villages and towns within easy reach. Liz and Dave keep a file in the property which is full of ideas and recommendations for places to go and restaurants to eat in. We have tried many of them and they are all excellent.
The pool is always warm and the view you have whilst swimming and sunbathing is spectacular. There is plenty of space around the outside of the property and inside all the rooms are spacious with comfy beds and sofas.
A highly recommended property which we hope to return to on many more occasions.

Sat at the top of a vineyard with 180 views is this beautiful villa!
We shared a wonderful 2 week summer holiday with all of our family. Everyone young and old agreed it was a beautiful location. Set in a quiet area just outside a small village is this fabulous property. The pool is a great size and was ideal for our large group, the veranda was used day and night to relax and admire the outstanding views! On a clear day we could make out the Pyrenees. If you're looking for a chilled holiday away from the hustle and bustle then this is the place for you. Everything you need is at the house and there are a couple of local towns within 15 minutes drive,
All in all nothing bad to say!

Stunning location, fabulous facilities!
Located on the edge of the sleepy village of Bezolles, the property sits in extensive grounds with stunning views of the Pyrenees. The rural setting provides a complete escape and makes for an extremely relaxing holiday.
The property is finished to a very high standard, with extensive space indoors and outside. The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious and there are even recipe books on hand! The outdoor pool is a good size and very clean. Thanks to its elevated position, it is very private too.
There are beautiful small towns to explore in the locality providing a fabulous experience of this unspoilt region, which is thankfully off the beaten track for most tourists.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to any family or group seeking a taste of the real France!

Fabulous
We had a brilliant holiday at this property. The house was clean, tidy and very well organised. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable as was the living room furniture, not that we spent much time sitting in the living room, as one of the best features of this house are the amazing views that can be seen from the veranda. The swimming pool was great, there were plenty of loungers.
The location was good, peaceful but only about a 10 minute easy drive to a supermarket. We have been to this area many times and always find plenty to see and do and there are numerous good restaurants a short drive away.
This is a great house in a great location and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

BEAUTIFUL RURAL IDYLL
Had a lovely week with teenage son and daughter, amazing weather so really made use of and enjoyed the pool. House in the middle of countryside surrounded by vineyards and fields of sunflowers. Not sure if we were meant to feed the visiting cats. Well equipped and lacking nothing (except perhaps a teapot!) Walked to local ruined castle and visited night markets, day markets, brocante markets, tasted Floc and Armagnac, ate plenty of duck and went to a 'course Landaise (bullfighting with cows but no bloodshed) in Aignan. Children not too bored by being dragged round beautiful churches ending up at Condom. Easy journey to Agen by Eurostar and TGV with a change in Paris, one stop at Bordeaux and then we were there. Car hire across the road from the station and then 1 hours drive to the house with supermarket en route.

Great stay at a lovely modern villa, terrific views, easy driving access to local history & culture
We chose a rental at Bezolles so we could have a comfortable and well organised base to enjoy life and travel to all the local historical and cultural sites. It worked out really well. The villa is a well prepared property surrounded by Domains and there's loads of lovely villages and cultural sites to explore.

Immaculate property with stunning views and a perfect pool.
We loved the property and the area.
The pool temperature was ideal with the cover insulating the heat inside so that on cooler days it was still warm.
Well equipped house , quiet area and good local shops within a 10 minute drive.
We would recommend the property to others.

Fantastic Stay!
We had a fantastic stay at this amazing house. The house is in an idyllic location with picturesque views of the unspoilt countryside. The decor was beautiful and of a very high standard and the entire place was immaculately clean.
There are plenty of things to do and many beautiful villages to visit and enjoy. We had fun at the water park in Gondrin and the swimming lake at Castera Verduzan. If you just want to relax, then this is also the place for you - just enjoy the house and pool!
We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to return!

A Family holiday to remember
Villa in Bezolles was a wonderful find for a large family holiday. 7 Adults (Grandparents came out mid term, flying into Toulouse) a child and 2 babies. The views across the valley were beautiful, watching the harvest and deer running across the fields in front. The pool was warm and plenty of sun loungers for us all. The villa was well equipped, allowing us to cook some lovely meals.
You will need a car to go shopping and getting out and about, but the local towns have a wonderful ambience, especially at the night markets.
Would recommend for any family wanting a relaxing holiday in a modern villa, with wonderful views, in a quiet location. We had a wonderful holiday

Idyllic getaway
The house is spotlessly clean and was like home from home. We travelled with a 1 year old and a cot and brand new cot bedding was available. The views are amazing and the location is so peaceful - we completely switched off. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. A fantastic French getaway with some lovely restaurants nearby - and lovely wine on sale at very reasonable prices at the local vineyards. 5****

About the host
Hosted by David & Liz Thompson
We live near Manchester in England and have taken early retirement. When not rented out we spend most of holidays at our home in Bezolles.
Why they chose this property
We had the house completed in 2009. We had been looking for the perfect house in the perfect location for almost 3 years. We had found one element but never the other. Then someone suggest we build our own. We found the land because we knew the area and had fallen in love with the rolling hills and the spectacular views of vineyards and sunflowers. The important thing that we wanted to do was make sure that the house had a very traditional feel. At the same time because of the more modern methods of construction we were able to ensure that the feel of the house was light and airy.
What makes this property unique
The property is set in 5000sqm of land and with a heated swimming pool, if you want a quiet relaxing time for you and your family then you do not have to leave the house. But if you want to do more then locally we have everything from golf to swimming lakes; from restaurants to markets; from bastide towns to glorious sunflower fields. Please enjoy our home.
