Cottage 1 has a double bedroom situated above the lounge on a mezzanine floor, there is also a big single sofa bed in the lounge. Cottage 1 has recently undergone a complete refurbishment Cottage 1 is situated close to Derwentwater,Bassenthwaite Lake and the picturesque Market Town Keswick and with in easy access of Englands highest peaks;ScafellPike,Helvellyn and Skiddaw,an ideal base in the heart of the lake DistrictNational Park.Braithwaite is a Lakeland Village filled with character,it has 2 good pubs which offer a range of bar meals,the village can also offer a couple of restuarants and a village shop,Keswick can be found just 2 miles away Which has many amenities from shops and restaurants to museums and the Theatre by the Lake,Cottage 1 is in the centre of braithwaite village,Which is situated in the Newlands Valley,hence there are many woodland,lakeside and mountain top walks available at all levels to suit every individual.we have lots more propertys altogether which we have not put all of them on PLEASE GIVE EMAIL OR CALL FOR SHORT BREAKS ,ANY TIME OUT OF SEASON.THANK YOU.KEYS WILL BE LEFT ON ARRIVEL.

Home from Home

We thought cottage 1 property was very clean cosy comfortable parked our car right beside property, The 3 minute walk to the Oak Pub they were very friendly and food excellent ! the corner shop just 2 minute walk very good and again friendly staff. We highly recommend coming to stay here we will come again it was a great holiday lots of different walks to do views breathtaking!

Stayed here many times over the last fourteen years, good local pubs good walks from the cottages. Clean, relaxing, and characterful.

Lovely cottage

We spent 2 days and nights here. Lovely little cottage with everything you need. A great friendly pub just around the corner and easy access to all towns and attractions. would definitely consider again if staying in the area.
