Fantastic stay at Casa Foscolo

Everything was as anticipated. Host was quick to respond during a minor glitch. Window shutters were very helpful at keeping the apartment cool during the day while we were out enjoying the Como area. Highly recommend this vacation rental.

A clean and spacious aprtment

Our stay at Casa Foscolo was very comfortable. The apartment was spacious with two large bathrooms and a good-sized living area. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. It was also very conveniently located. A short drive to Como where you can access a ferry to Bellagio and other towns on the lake, a short drive to the local train station for a day trip to Milan, and close enough to Turin for another day trip. We would recommend this apartment for a stay in the Lakes region. Thank you!

OK, but not great

The house is OK, it doesn't look as good as in the pictures, but it is spacious and kept very clean. It could use a few additional things in the kitchen. The main issue is the air-conditioning; there are only two units for the whole apartment and both are too small.

Wirklich ein tolles Appartement, Riesen groß, leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort, weil wir auf der Durchreise waren. Wir sind uns aber alle einig gewesen, hier kommen wir gerne nochmal her und das ein wenig länger.

A beautiful hi-spec apartment with off street parking and helpful charming owners

5 of us stayed for one week in August 2017 with 2 cars. Mum and Dad, two grown sons and Grandma. The apartment was beautiful, hi-spec and very spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfy. The two owners (brothers) were so helpul and couldn't do more for us. Cars were parked off street. You do need a car or take the bus to get to the lake. Bit too far to walk if it's the height of Summer. The center is a short walk away and is very quiet but with not many amenities. There is a small bar, pizzeria, church but not much else. Overall well worth the money. Thank you Andrea and Ugo.

Great home and location

On our way from Milan to Lago Maggiore, we made a stop to visit the Como lake. We only stayed at the Foscolo casa for one night but we loved. It looks modern, it's clean, has everything you need. We appreciated that it had a parking spot as we rented a car while in Italy. A good location if you want to visit the Como lake, only 18 minutes to the funicular in Como. We loved it and definitely recommend it.
