The very bright apartment is located in the heart of the city of Florence, inside the ZTL, a few steps from the Duomo and the main museums (Accademia, Uffizi, San Marco Museum, Archaeological Museum). The furniture is studied in detail and comfortable. The apartment has a fairly spacious outdoor area with table and chairs under a delightful pergola. The house is equipped with every comfort: Single heating and air conditioning; its position allows to easily and quickly reach every area of the city and also in the suburbs (Piazzale Michelangelo, Fiesole); in fact the main bus lines have a stop right near the apartment.

Great location and roomy apartment
Great apartment in a nice area with restaurants and shops nearby as well as good public transportation. The only downside was the extremely low water pressure in the showers.

Wonderful Apartment in San Marco Piazza. Easy walking to everything you would like to do in Florence. There is the tram stop right outside the apartment which made getting to and from the airport easy. Elisabetta was lovely, our host. Thanks Kate F

What a wonderful apartment right near the heart of many attractions and buses. Elisabetta was great to communicate with and a kind host. She even met us right away when we left an item and needed to catch our train. Would stay here again for sure.

This property is for visitors who want the experience of living in a Florence neighborhood. Although the social media darling sandwich shops are literally just around the corner with the House of David a few minutes walk past them if you walked out of the apt. in the other direction you would find the normal bustle of locals going about their day. We easily walked from across the Arno from Piazzale Michelangelo you don't have to because of a convenient taxi rank feet away at Piazza San Marco and bus stops. This is an older property so the dimensions of the bathroom with the bathtub off the entry is very narrow. Luckily, there is a second bathroom off the main bedroom. The walk in storage space in the main bedroom can store all your luggage easily. 3 hotel style luggage racks are thoughtfully provided by the host. The towels and bed linens were very clean. 3 Kitchen towels for guest use. As of November 2024 we found the host did respond to previous lacking reviews of bath towels, linens, kitchen towels. Construction was not on going during our stay.

While the location was very good, our experience with this accommodation was less than ideal. There were many things that are within the owner’s control that would improve the suite. Unfortunately, the suite was not very clean - the shower floors were slimy and there was a lot of mold/mildew, the cupboards and backsplash were not wiped down in some time and the courtyard area furniture was not wiped down and was quite thick with grime as just a few examples. There was a lack of linens (one bath towel and one hand towel per person) and no clean dish cloth in the apartment. The black placemats needed to be cleaned before use, and the red ones were stained/possibly moldy and should be discarded. The IKEA furniture, especially in the dining area, is worn and tired. The air conditioning took a very long time to get cool. Unfortunately, communication with Elisabetta was slow. Pride of ownership is not evident in this unit and based on our experience, we could not recommend this unit. Thankfully, there are many other splendid options in Italy, and we were able to rent other beautiful properties on our vacation.

My daughter and I spent the week about 25 yrs after I first visited with my late husband. We were so delighted with the apt! Perfect location…walked everywhere…cafe, restaurant, grocery all in the block. There is construction on the square right now but it didn’t interfere with anything. It’s a busy area so there is some noise from all the activity and businesses, but a very cozy place for relaxing after a day out and about. Beds extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed outdoor patio. ( Small suggestion….provide a couple paper products…napkins or kleenex or paper towels) Definitely recommend this apartment as a home base!

Bathrooms need a little updating but overall everything was great . Coffee shop on the corner was great for a quick breakfast!!! Great location and the recommendations of the restaurant downstairs was awesome!!! Tried the deep fried lasagna and it was delicious!!

This was a lovely spot to stay while exploring Florence! Elisabetta is very pleasant and easy to contact if needed. The apartment is very clean, spacious and comfortable - the washing machine was a nice bonus. It is located in walking distance from the train station and many sights. As an added bonus the restaurant downstairs - Academia - is wonderful!

the apartment was clean and roomy. the location was great! within walking distance to popular sites. The only mishap was a miscommuncation about the air conditioning. The A/C was to be turned on at each unit, we spent the first night without A/C , then figured out the following day to turn unit on at unit. After that, was perfect! I woud stay here again.

Conveniently situated property with ease of walking to sites, shopping, eating, and transportation. Roomy and comfortable sleeping arrangements with convenience to lovely eateries and wine bars. Walk downstairs each morning for breakfast, dine outside at myriad options, or grab a quick meal by merely walking down the stairs! The host remained in touch and left clear, precise directions that made our stay stress free. The primary bathroom served as our main shower as the second bathroom shower was disappointing; however, the remainder of the property is well maintained.

The location of this apartment is absolutely amazing. It's a few blocks from the heart of Florence. It took a few emails with the owner to get the door code ahead of time and we had an email telling us our departure date was a day early, but other than that, the place was great!

Great apartment in Firenze!!!
Great location with easy walk to everything. Close to markets , shops and restaurants. Had a wonderful stay and host was very friendly. The only thing I would recommend is for blackout curtains in the main bedroom as there are lights that stay on all night at the museum next door so bedroom is never dark. Other than that is was great!!!

Loved this property during one time in Florence. It was very clean, beds with comfortable with nice linens. It’s a great location, we loved the cafe right downstairs. The construction could be an issue if someone needed a daytime nap but we were on the go, so no issue for us.
