We have had a lovely stay at Villa Aphrodite. The place was spotless and the facilities were perfect. The maid called most days and the pool guy maintained the pool very well. The villa is quite a way out of town and wouldn’t recommend you walk it! Car is essential. Would definitely return - Kefalonia
Is an amazing island.
The Villa is located about 2.5 miles out of Skala. The villa is a good size with a good pool. The villa is kept extremely clean by the brilliant house keeper. Clean bed sheets and towels every two days. Closest restaurant is 20 minute walk or there is one in the hotel opposite if you don’t want to walk. Car is recommended. Taxi service is good approximately 8 - 10 euros to Skala. Highly recommended villa.
Weve been to Skala many times over the years, one of our favourite places on our favourite greek island, and this place was really nice.
Whilst a couple of the aircon units could do with an upgrade, they still do an adequate job, and we stayed during a summer heatwave and they were fine. Other than that, the place is stunning, the view over the sea is amazing and the pool is really nice. We hired a car and so it was perfect for us as we could just nip into Skala very easily.
It is within walking distance to skala main village but i wouldnt want to be doing that walk in 36 degree heat. So would recommend getting a car. The place has good amount of seating, the beds are comfy and theres an en suite for every bedroom which is great.
Communication from the owner was also good.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a really nice affordable place.
Children loved the pool, teenager loved the wifi and the bed swing 🤣. Mum and dad loved the mythos and sunrise and sunset views from all the different places. Definitely be back.🙏🌅🌄
We had a lovely holiday in the villa . The location was perfect for us and the pool was one of the best we have ever had ! Beautiful views across to the sea . We were looked after very well and the maid came regularly
Our villa was perfect. It was lovely and clean with all of the facilities very near by.
We managed to visit most of the island during our week (we hired a car) and got in a couple of lovely lazy days by the pool.
We have all spoken about how much we would
Love to come back and we are just at the airport waiting for our return flight now!
Beautiful villa, beautiful kefalonia ❤️
What a great location and outlook this villa has very clean and had everts you need to have a comfortable stay.
Just 5 minutes drive from Skala town which has plenty of bars and tavernas as well as a variety of shops you would expect in a resort town. The villa was cleaned 3 times whilst we stayed replacing bath and pool towels and toiletries while the pool was cleaned and checked every other day. A well equipped villa great views of the sea but recommend you have a car the walk into Skala is roughly 45 minutes and uphill on the return journey. We had 1 small problem with a bedroom door handle which broke in the evening but was repaired the next day through contact with the owner so no issues there would recommend to everyone
Excellent facilities very clean and modern good location with great views. Very relaxing and hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay at this villa.
Enjoyed the house and Inessa (house keeper) was great. She came 3 days a week and the pool guy maybe everyday. Really good location. I wish they would upgrade to smart TV. Dish was very seldom working for anything, let alone english speakers. Great balconies for boat watching. Just spent 3 weeks at Aphrodite. We explored all of Kefalonia. Assos was the best town. Poros and Agia Efimia were great also. Argostoli is a big town, but nice to walk around and the big turtles are there about 11 am by the fish boats. Vallsami (sp) boat tours was great to Ithaca.
Stayed from the 22nd-29th September, had a wonderful time and we didn't want to leave. The villa is spotlessly clean, very spacious and has everything you need. It was peaceful and relaxing by the pool and has a beautiful view from every balcony. We will definitely return and would recommend highly.
Great villa in a wonderful location, what a view. Elissa hope I have this right very helpful .
Very good experience everything as expected. Great that everything included in the price
Just need to repair missing pool tiles would come back and recommend.
Fabulous views, peaceful location close to Skala bars and restaurants
We spent 14 nights at villa Aphrodite. Owners were super accommodating with cancellation policy & payments given Covid disruption and communication was excellent. Villa is in a great location - a bit too far to walk into Skala so car is recommended. Villa was cleaned regularly during our stay - few pool tiles missing but overall Villa was in a good condition with everything working. Mounda & Kaminia beaches are 10 mins drive and we’ll worth a visit.
Well equipped, extremely clean, good location (although car is recommended), booking process very efficient. Highly recommend.

Charming Villa in perfect location for Skala
We have been to Skala before and we were happy to get around by car as we visit Porus a lot for dinner. There is a hill up to the villa which is demanding so not suitable for the less-able, therefore the car is essential. The villa is a little dated and personally a little disappointing for the cost. The pool had many tiles missing and this let the quality down further. If the price dropped I would stay again. Suitable facilities and an exceptionally good cleaner. Communication was excellent with the owner. Villa clean and suitable but tired 8/10.

Lovely Villa in a peaceful spot
We stayed in villa Aphrodite for 11 nights at the end of July. There was myself and partner, our two children 13 and 4 and my parents. The villa itself is lovely, so clean and spacious. My initial reaction was how much lovelier it looked than the pictures. As previously mentioned it is a long walk into town which we were aware of before we went having stayed in Skala several times. We walked in to town on occasions or called a taxi. The views and surrounding countryside were beautiful and we loved listening to the bells of the mountain goats outside the villa. The cleaner kept the place spotless and was very helpful. There was plenty of utensils etc in the kitchen to cook a meal. We ate at the hotel asteris across the road from the villas where we had a couple of lovely meals and also popped over for an ice cream or drink, they were so welcoming.
I would highly recommend these villas for a relaxing holiday and we are already considering returning.

Great stay beautiful villa
We had a great time we were two couples and two children (6months & 5 yr). It was a great layout for us as both children are mine so we had the upstairs. The bonus being we all had our own bathroom as well.
We know the area quite well so knew where the shops etc were and distance to Skala centre and we would walk it once a day and could get to Captains in at worst 45 mins walking it (it is about just over 3km). However that said a car is recommended especially if you have a child or someone who finds walking tricky or you want to get shopping in as I wouldn’t fancy carrying shopping up the hill :)
Pool was fabulous kids loved it and so did we and used it every day. It was cleaned daily and the housekeeper who looked after the villa was also very efficient and lovely.
Overall I would recommend and would stay here again (we were in Aphrodite).

Beautiful location spectacular villa.
I can’t fault a single thing about the villa, the location and spectacular views. Set in a very peaceful location it wants for nothing. If there was a downside at all it would be the locality if the nearest shop which is a 20 walk or a 5 minute drive so a top tip would to have your own transport for which the villa has a private driveway park it in. Abosolutely loved our time there and would highly recommend it. Booking and communications with the owner was first class and a cleaner attended the villa every other day too. Amazing throughout.

Great location
Lovely villa. Very comfortable, spacious and clean. Fantastic views. Need a car but only 5 mins drive into scala which has good beaches, restaurants and bars. All in all a wonderful family holiday on a very friendly and hospitable island.
