Accomodation is very clean and pleasant, with fully equipped kitchen. ( Would recommend provision of a cleaning fluid...especially for bathroom... and washing up liquid... As this is something you dont usally bring even when doing self catering holiday. Was easily obtained from local store and I could easily have asked Sarah for some I am sure. ). BBQ was mentioned in description but not provided. ( However weather was not suitable... Again,.. I'm sure if we asked Sarah would have provided) Sarah was very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with.
Great Place to Relax & Enjoy the 'Barts' Home Town
Cottage great, hosts Sarah & Richard welcoming short walk to the station for train into Birmingham or short drive to Park & Ride into Stratford, if you want to spend time seeing area around Statford's beautiful countryside ideal base. Will go back.
Lovely cottage in Wilmcote. Really clean and in a great location.
In the village itself is William Shakespeare's mothers cottage, just down the road his Anne Hathaway's childhood home and Shakespeare's house is a short drive away.
In the surrounding are are many National Trust and English Heritage properties to visit. It's in a beautiful part of the country, lots of green lanes.
Sarah is a great host, very knowledgeable about the area and really looked after us.
If you're very lucky you might be greeted by a beautiful chocolate Labrador, don't worry if you're not a dog lover she knows not to approach unless asked. But, if you are a a dog lover you're in for an extra treat!
Lovely garage conversion Sarah was a great host nearby train station was great staging post for Birmingham and Cheltenham Stratford park and ride also nearby great for couples would recommend if in area
Such a cosy and relaxing cottage. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. Excellent location to get to many areas including the steam railway which is great. We loved our time here at this cottage and highly recommend it
Sarah’s house is just what we needed - my partner and I have been super busy with work recently so we needed some space to relax, enjoy the quiet and beautiful surroundings and recharge. Sarah was on hand with advice on the local area and answered any questions we had. A great stay!
The circumstances for our stay were unfortunately not for relaxation purposes; however we certainly made sure to enjoy the house and the surrounding areas when we could (old ‘stomping ground’ for us).
Sarah and Richard are superb hosts, supportive but equally leaving you to it. You’re welcome to stroll through their garden and on into the back orchard and Gael will most certainly enjoy your company (we miss her very much).
Having both a double shower and a bath were wonderful and the addition of the washing machine was an extra bonus.
The local shop is a great addition to this stay and with Sarah’s son being the local paperboy, you can always have your daily or weekly newspaper delivered to.
Great place to stay.
Location is very good for walks and well placed for visits to Stratford upon Avon Warwick and Lemmington Spa. It has a great village store which is well stocked. The owners are great.
Everything was great from response to enquiry to check out.
Just what was advertised, cosy and relaxing property In a beautiful area, had everything we needed for a weeks stay.
Owners friendly and on hand to provide any help if required. Our children loved the house and the visits from the pet Labrador.
Thank you for a pleasant stay .
Lovely cottage which is an ideal base for Stratford and the Cotswolds
This is in a lovely location for exploring the cotswolds and you can walk along the canal into Stratford or take the train from the village. This was our first visit back to the Cotswolds in 20 years and enjoyed visiting the pretty villages and also the amazing choice of national trust properties in the area.
Sarah and Richard are excellent hosts.
In a lovely location. The cottage was very comfortable. Enjoyed every minute of my stay
What a lovely time we had. So peaceful. Sarah and Richard were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The cottage was very comfortable and we loved the underfloor heating which made the cottage so nice and warm. Such a neat place as well.
Thanks Sarah for our welcome pack and prompt replies to my messages. We had a lovely stay in Wilmcote which was also an ideal location to visit Stratford, Warwick and the Cotswolds.
Excellent location for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon. Train station 15 min walk away and lovely canal side walk taking about an hr if you’re feeling energetic.
Property in quiet location and our hosts made us more than welcome.

Wilmcote Stratford
We had a lovely stay here with delightful hosts Sarah and Richard.
A short 10 x minute drive to Stratford Upon Avon’s township , and easy walking distance to a canal system with 12 x locks, which leads right into central Stratford .Also close proximity to the Cotswolds for day trips.

Great Holiday Cottage for visiting Friends and Family
We used this location as a base for visiting family and friends on a pre-Xmas visit from our home in Spain. As well as family visits we were attracted to being close to Stratford-upon-Avon & the nearby Cotswold villages. The cottage was as described and very clean with a super designed interior giving a very homely feel. Highly recommended.

Lovely and cosy
Myself and my partner stayed at this charming little cottage for a short break in the Midlands, lovely, quiet and rural yet still within a short distance for all amenities, the little welcome pack was most welcoming! Thank you Sarah and Richard for a lovely peaceful break away.
