Loved romiley would definitely return, best location beautiful beach 2 minutes walk away, lovely family holiday with our grandchildren.
Only thing about romiley and a very small fault, if you want a family morning fry up take a couple of pans, only one frying pan, plenty of everything else.
Would love to return x
The property was so much nicer than it looked online.
We were very impressed with the quantity and quality of kitchen and dining equipment. The towels supplied and bed linens were all of a high standard and the bathrooms were lovely .. and plenty of hot water too.
Our only tiny difficulty was operating such an all singing, all dancing oven! .. the wooden floors were also not clean ... we assume that given the high standard of everything else, this was perhaps a simple one-off slip up... it certainly would not stop us visiting again.

Romiley, Trevone Bay
Very well decorated, clean and comfortable. Practically on the beach with good parking at the front of the property Very well equipped with a large television, books, DVD player, and DVD's, and a smart modern kitchen. We only had four days and were fortunate with the weather. Trevone Bay and the adjoining beach Rocky Bay are a paradise for families of all ages, and great for those with young children, no amusement arcades, just toilets and a good beach café. The walks along the coast are superb, try from Trevone to Harlyn Bay and have a drink at the Harlyn Bay hotel for your troubles! you can go into Padstow for the evening if you are so inclined. there are plenty of places around to eat, from the cheaper fish and chip shops to Rick Steins restaurant (if you can afford it!)
A beautiful place don't miss it! Hope very much to return there.
Second visit. Very close to the beach. Beach shop and café including wetsuit and board hire across the road, farm shop a few hundred yards up the road .1.5 miles to Padstow walking across the fields.
Great location near beach. Easily parking for 3 cars. Comfortable beds. Good size garden with sun loungers and picnic benches. interior layout is quirky but fun. Low ceiling in the attic room in places but view of beach from the room. Good sized bedrooms but the living space is small for 8 adults. Would definitely book again

best thing about this property is the location
bedrooms were spacious and clean but for 8 adults the living and dining/kitchen areas would be too small.
functional and warm, nicely presented but no nice little touches like a few teabags and some milk on arrival and no toilet rolls or binbags.
beautiful area though

Delightful - what more can one say
Romily is a very comfortable homely place to stay with everything you could possibly want. The situation is terrific a hop skip and a jump to the beach, a Cafe, a variety of walks, and even in October the sea was very inviting. We had a fantastic time .

Fantastic holiday home.
Our family of 6 have just returned from a wonderful week we spent at this house over Christmas. The property was clean throughout well furnished and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and large.
There are fantastic views of the sea which is only 100m away. We were blessed with brilliant weather however the property is incredibly warm.
The house is ideally placed for a walk into Padstow (about 40 mims of easy walking),or 20 mins to Harlyn Bay the other way along the costal path and breathtaking views all the way.
No complaints, we would definitely recommend this property and our 4 children whose ages range from 13 -20 are already talking about returning.

Well placed family home
The property was very well equipped and in a perfect location for those wishing to explore the beautiful beach nearby. There were plenty of bedrooms, all of which were well decorated, and the home was clean and welcoming, we would definitely return.

About the host
Hosted by Beverly Ashford
We live and work in Exeter with our children and Schnauzer dogs called Colin and Stanley. They love the beach and coastal walks in winter when we bring them with us to stay in Romiley.
Why they chose this property
We bought Romiley after spending 5 years holidaying in Trevone. The children are now off to university and enjoy using Romiley with their friends. We have spent many happy summers and New Years in Trevone with family and friends and hope others can too. Many hours have been spent searching for cowrie shells on the rocky beach and exploring and looking for star fish and crabs. The space on the sandy beach when the tide is out is perfect for a game of cricket. The walk across the fields to Padstow and return along the coast path is another activity we all have to do at least once.
What makes this property unique
What we love about Romiley; It is lovely to be able to check the surf before setting off with all your kit from the balcony at the front of the house. Sitting on the balcony with a bottle of cider to enjoy the setting sun.
