Great stay in no 1 the dairy. Lovely comfortable cottage. My two children especially loved the hot tub. Very friendly and helpful owner who even shared the cupcakes from his sons christening with us.
Would use this property again and a lovely part of the island but not enough time to explore this side of the island and definitely not short of some very places to eat and visit
What can i say about this place other than it is absolutely stunning, this has topped any other place we have ever stayed on the island, the moment we opened the door felt at home, so clean and just beautifully decorated. Hosts could not have been more accommodating via messenger and the hot tub even though it was January was the best thing, nothing better than sinking in to the hot tub and watching the evening stars and night pass you by. I cannot wait to stay again, this was the best home from home and everything thought of even though we didn’t need there was the use of a cot, stair gate, high chair etc

Beautifully managed holiday cottage
Perfect. A wonderfully managed holiday cottage, the owners are lovely, the location is beautiful, perfect for couples and families. No 1 cottage is for family with kids and no 2 cottage is for couples both are perfect.

The old Dairy
Our accommodation was first class. All very clean and very tidy. Great range of facilities in the kitchen and the added bonus of a hot tub outside. We spent several sessions in the hot tub looking at the stars. Really relaxing. The owners we very welcoming and helpful. We would recommended this stay to friends, family or anyone else. You won't be disappointed!
About the host
Hosted by Nick Whittle and Kristina King
I am a local born and bred Islander, who has trained as a boat builder, specializing in traditional wooden boats. I Have developed a few properties with my father and the farm being our greatest which we are very proud of. I'm a keen surfer who enjoys water sports around the island.
Why they chose this property
The farm dates back to over 300 years old, but was only used as a cattle and dairy farm, myself and father converted the barn recently. The cottage is in a Thorley village with beautiful surroundings, but only a short walk to Yarmouth, and 10-30 minutes drive to lovely beaches.
What makes this property unique
On arrival you will receive a hamper to help you get settled in for your stay at 1 The Dairy. The cottage also has great outside space with lovely garden and patio/terrace area and great views of the countryside.
