Comfortable, well equipped property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property, it was warm and comfortable, and has everything you might need. The hot tub is an added bonus, and our dogs enjoyed the small garden area. Convenient location - the main road on which the house is situated provides a short drive into Lymington in one direction, or into the New Forest in the other. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Fabulous !

Little Home Farm was a fabulous place for our family holiday. The rooms and layout worked perfectly with excellent facilities. Tiffany and Steve are charming and on hand to help with anything, as required. Best of all were the comfy beds, so often neglected in holiday rentals. Many thanks, we’ll be back soon.

Wonderful cottage

Such a lovely cottage, everything you could wish for and more. We arrived to a wonderful welcome hamper, with a few unusual, unique well thought out items. Hosts Steve and Tiff were incredibly helpful from the point of booking through to inspirational days out due to the wet weather during our stay. The huge hot tub was a great addition and the downstairs bedroom/bathroom was perfect for our parents in their mid 70’s. 15 minute walk into the centre of Lymington, Which has a large selection of shops and there are soooo many lovely places to eat! Thank you for a lovely week!

Beautiful stylish property

We all enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Little Home Farm. The house was very welcoming and clean, the beds were comfortable and everything we needed and more was provided including a thoughtful welcome hamper. Unfortunately the weather was terrible on one day so we spent a lovely cosy afternoon and evening by the wood burner after a relaxing hour in the hot tub. Tiff and Steve were great hosts and gave us brilliant suggestions on where to eat (Fisherman’s Rest and The Monkey Brewhouse) and recommended a take away from Rivaaz, which was delicious. We hope to visit again, thank you 😊

Wow! A really lovely place to stay.

We booked Little Home Farm for a long weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday with family, and we had the most amazing time. The accommodation was lovely, clean and very welcoming. The kitchen is a great social place with everything you could possibly need. The three en-suite bedrooms were perfect with plenty of room. The huge hot tub was so lovely to chill out in. Everything was really great!! We are local so know the area and we wanted somewhere to just chill, relax and have fun, and it certainly did all those things. Steve was so welcoming and available if we needed anything. The welcome hamper was lovely and very gratefully received. Thank you Steve and Tiff for our lovely stay in your beautiful accommodation. Kind regards Trish, Graham and family

A wonderful stay over the New Year period

Four friends and I stayed at the property from 30th December for 4 nights. As we walked through the front door, my initial reaction was "wow" and my first feelings about the property proved to be accurate. It is a super place to stay, well situated for the Forest, the coast and Lymington itself but in a beautiful country setting. The cottage itself was warm, spacious and homely, the beds were comfortable and everything was good quality and spotlessly clean. Tiffany and Steve live next door but are unobtrusive whilst remaining helpful. When we ran out of matches to light the wood burner, Steve brought us some in minutes. The cottage lacked nothing. There was even a large beautifully lit Christmas tree in the corner of the lounge and tasteful Christmas decorations throughout. The cottage is spacious, the 3 en suite bathrooms were wonderful for a party of 60- somethings and the whole stay was absolutely wonderful. I took two small dogs with me and they immediately curled up in their bed by the radiator, a sure sign they felt at home. Thank you Tiffany and Steve. We will definitely be back.

A property to return to

What a wonderful we've just had in this property last week: two adults and two children, aged 8 and 12, and our greyhound dog. It went fast, believe me, and you all know that happens only when everything is perfect around you. The property is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful New Forest and the coast. Little Home Farm is easily accessible by one of the main roads into Lymington, so yes, you can hear the cars passing by, but nothing extreme. There is a pub next door, which we didn't have the opportunity to try, and it didn't cause any disturbance at all. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, it included a couple of cuddly toys for the kids, a couple of biscuits for the doggy, butter, honey and a delightful bottle of wine for the parents! The property is very spacious and comfortable. There are 4 TVs spread out in different rooms around the house with access to Netflix, Disney+, etc. The lounge has a log burner that works wonders. Each bedroom has an ensuite and all of them are very spacious. The property also has a utility room, with washing and dryer machines; and a very well equipped kitchen that includes an american style fridge/freezer. The communication with Tiff and Steve (the owners) was second to none. They were very quick to address any issues and questions we had before, during and after our stay. Steve was super helpful with his local knowledge of places to go... restaurant recommendations were spot on! (thanks for that Steve!). Lastly, the hot tub was the best way to wind down after days filled with walks, cycling and adventures. Thank you so much guys for making our stay a memorable one!

Great house in the New Forest

The property is decorated to a high standard with plenty of modern equipment including a super hot tub. All bedrooms were on suite and beds were extremely comfortable, having a downstairs bedroom is perfect for those who struggle with stairs and it even had heated flooring in the downstairs bedroom. There were some very nice and thoughtful touches including a great welcome basket. The garden was beautifully manicured and had a large garden table with 6 chairs to sit and eat at and a very nice and very big hot tub. The owners were very welcoming and only too willing to get things right for our stop. I would definitely recommend this property.

Tranquil, sunny garden

We had a great week away here with friends with fabulous weather. We made good use of the garden seating area for early evening drinks and afternoon tea and cakes. Well situated for Beaulieu, the New Forest and we enjoyed day trips to the Isle of Wight. An easy walk into Lymington for evenings out, particularly if you are able to climb the gate into the path along the fields.

Beautiful, elegant and well-equipped house

We loved our stay in Little Home Farm - the property was the perfect, comfortable base for a holiday in the New Forest. The house had everything we needed for our family of three. The large lounge with the comfy sofas, woodburner and large TV was our favourite place to hang out. The well-equipped kitchen was also a great spot to linger over a cup of coffee and look out over the beautiful garden. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all large and comfortable. We could easily get into Lymington (a short drive) and could also easily get to other areas on the New Forest. On the last day, after check out, we took the ferry to Yarmouth as foot passengers and could spend the last few sunny hours cycling before heading home. Highly recommend a stay in this great house! Tiff and Steve were very helpful and friendly - great hosts - thank you!

Great for a family celebration

We had a lovely, long weekend, birthday celebration. The house is very comfortable, with lovely large rooms and although we were a party of six adults it never felt crowded. We particularly loved the lounge with its high ceiling, log burner and comfy sofas. The bedrooms are all good sizes with en suites and we all found the beds comfortable. We really appreciated the complimentary basket of goodies left for us and the dish washer tablets. We did need to go and buy bin bags and soap. The kitchen is a good size and is well equipped. The only negative was that the decor in some parts of the house needed some touching up. Although the house is on a fairly busy road, the sound of the traffic is mostly masked by the trees and bushes. There’s a lovely garden to enjoy on a nice day. The location was great, just a 5minute drive from the town and harbour. We had a lovely meal in the Thai restaurant but would recommend booking in advance. We would definitely recommend this lovely house. The owners were very quick and helpful responding to our questions. They were also very discreet, but are nearby if there’s a problem. Thank you for a lovely, memorable stay.

Beautiful spacious house

Couldn’t fault the stay at Little Home Farm. Great location near footpath to Lymington and super close to Beaulieu and other towns. Slept 4 adults comfortably. House has been finished to a very high standard throughout and water pressure was amazing. Some noise can be heard from the apartment/house above the living room but it didn’t bother us. Hosts were so helpful and quick to respond. We asked on the first night where we could buy kindling and by the following morning it was outside the door.

About the host

Hosted by Tiffany Robinson

Host profile image
We are a family with 2 children aged 17 & 19 who grew up (as I did!) loving this area and all that it has to offer. My husband and I both work from home (next door) so are on hand if there are any last-minute problems or if you need a suggestion for a great local restaurant!

Why they chose this property

I have been lucky enough to have lived in this area for most of my life and can not think of anywhere that can offer so much to so many, at any time of year.
It has everything; the remoteness of the New Forest to the hustle of town. There are beaches and cities within easy reach, there are theme parks and cycle tracks, Museums and Theatres, sailing and walking, horses riding and rowing, cycling for miles with no real hills to speak of!
On our doorstep, you have access, by ferry, to the Isle of Wight, by train to London or by plane to anywhere in the world!
Lymington itself is a beautiful Georgian market town with plenty of fabulous places to eat and local shops to peruse!

What makes this property unique

Within 1/2 a mile, there are familiar shops such as Waitrose, Tesco, Boots etc plus a multitude of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Every Saturday the High street comes alive with the weekly market selling everything from meat, veg, baked goods and fish to plants, clothes, crafts and Jewellery.
In the other direction, and only 1/2 a mile, you have the open forest with miles of tracks and the wonderful New Forest ponies to explore. There are beaches close by, and the Ferry to the Isle of Wight is within walking distance.
There is so much to do in the area that all tastes and ages are well catered for.
