The property offers a great place to getaway, for either a Family, Couples or a group of Golfers, the resort caters for all. There are a number of restaurants and bars around the resorts town centre, all within walking distance. The apartment is in a perfect location to walk to the driving range, for your practice sessions. There are lessons on offer for the beginners & experienced golfers. Play a round of Golf on the course. Relax in the Garden whilst the children play in the pool, easily supervise them & watch them play as it's a few meters from the gated garden of the property, which is on the ground floor, so ease of access is perfect. The golf course is designed by one of the masters of golf Mr. Jack Nicklaus and is Par 68 and is 5,403 Meter long. challenging course, with plenty of Bunkers and water to contend with, the undulating and extremely fast greens are a challenge in itself, with plenty of chances to 3 or 4 putt.

Don’t believe the pictures !

We initially checked into this apartment for an 11 night stay and must have been there for all of half an hour - the pictures aren’t ANYTHING like what greeted us - the host has admitted these were taken professionally some time ago. The cleanliness of the property was sub standard to say the least , dirty cutlery , mould on the kitchen worktop , a filthy high chair , spiders and cobwebs throughout the property and a smoke smell in the dining area , with some cigarette butts still out on the terrace. The dining table has now been covered to hide the patchy beige colour underneath , the curtains were hanging from the rail and the desk chair is ridiculously worn. I was advised that the bedding and towels haven’t been changed since the property was initially purchased 8 years ago , although we didn’t stay long enough to try them ourselves. The picture of the table, chairs and wine bottle isn’t even in the apartment , it’s at the entrance to the main block ! Overall , we couldn’t have been anymore disappointed with our experience on our first family holiday and would encourage anybody thinking of staying here , to seek an alternative , especially if you are expecting a baby / child friendly apartment as we were !

Great apartment

The apartment was described, comfy beds, great air con especially in the bedrooms, the quietest I’ve known. The location of the apartment was perfect with a pool a couple of metres away. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it but also liked chilling inside with Netflix and playing Minecraft. Only a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Overall, just the family holiday we all needed and would love to return again. Good communication with host and key holder. Many thank.

Really nice apartment. Perfect for families with younger children and the location was fab. Had all essentials too so that we didn't need to pack extra like towels, beach towels, linen etc.

Had a lovely holiday at this apartment is in a great location.next to 2 swimming pools. Really managed to chill out for 2 weeks.Apartment has most things you need bbq, washing machine, garden furniture the only thing I would of liked that most other apartments seem to have is sunloungers so that we could of taken around the pool. (Infinity chairs nice but still prefer loungers for pool) Sofas and beds really comfy. Air conditioning in lounge fantastic not so good in the bedrooms. All in all a great holiday the only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was the air conditioning in bedrooms. Planning to go back again this year. Owners Kate and Mark always answer emails very quickly. Thanks for a lovely stay. From Andrew and family

Lovely Apartment - Ideal location Highly Recommend

My wife and I stayed here for a number of weeks this winter and really enjoyed it. The apartment is very well equipped and the kitchen has every pot, pan and utensil you will need to conjour up your favourite food. At first the you may think location is a little out of the way, in reality we found it ideal. It is just a 10 minute drive to San Javier and Las Alcazares where you will find lots of eateries, bars and good shops. It is also only around 25 minutes from the lovely city of Murcia and the famous port city of Cartagena. La Torre is an ideal base for golf lovers with around 10 good quality golf courses within a 30 minutes drive. The world renowned La Manga Golf Resort is close to La Manga de Mar Menor and probably the best golf resort in the area. The La Torre resort is quite large in size flowing around the main golf course. But is very friendly and safe with security on the main entrances and regular patrols. The apartment offers a whole host of items for adults and kids to ensure a comfortable stay. There is a lovely big swimming pool just meters from the back terrace and a BBQ area and small private garden. The apartment is located just 2 minutes walk from the stunning club house, the driving range and practice putting areas. My wife and I enjoyed the long walks around the course of an evening, it is so peaceful with hardly any traffic. Owners Kate and Mark where very helpful from the start and always answered any queries we had very quickly. I would highly recommend this apartment and area to anyone looking to stay in Murcia, you wont be disappointed.

Perfect for our family holiday!

We have enjoyed a relaxing return visit to this well equipped and very comfortable holiday apartment. The owners have provided every thing could possibly need for a family holiday. This apartment is close Supermarket, golf course, driving range and, play areas a number of swimming pools other than the one just outside the apartment. Not all of the restaurants were open but we mostly cooked our own food whilst on the complex. Great location- we visited Los Alcazares beach and the parks and mountains during this visit. The apartment is just 20mins drive from the airport. Will definitely return if there is availability!

Good handover by the agent - underground parking was a plus. A car is a must. Problems with the hot water were solved quickly. The apartment was clean and well fitted out. Very handy for the swimming pool. Went into Los Alcazares most nights for a meal - about 20 minutes drive

Amazing!

Firstly I have to redress the fact that I never left a review (my fault) when we stayed at Mark's property in 2014. It was fabulous then, everything you needed & located in the perfect part of the complex. So fast forward to 2016, needed a quick late week away with just me and my son, emailed Mark & once again nothing too much trouble, great and easy to liaise with. The apartment is furnished so well, we've stayed at La Torre many times & this one has the best sofa (fits all) & the most comfortable of beds. It opens up to a few feet of the pool (no effort required lol). There is everything you need in the apartment golf clubs, tennis raquets, toys for kids, loungers etc. I wouldn't hesitate in a heartbeat recommending this apartment & fully intend to stay there again in the future - Thank you Mark & Kate :)

Great Time

Spent the Christmas here with the family, and really enjoyed the place and time. Golf was surprisingly good. Played 3 out of the 6 courses, all good and different from each other, yet short drive away. The unit is ideally located near the golf course and club house. Food is good, and if you don't mind some driving (on good roads), plenty to see and experience nearby.

La Torre Holiday

This was our fourth stay in La Torre and it was by far the best apartment we have stayed in!! Very spacious and close to golf club, town centre and shop. If we come back we would stay here again-thanks to Mark and key holder Flora!

Lovely holiday at La Torre Golf Resort

We spent three wonderful weeks at this property in the winter. The apartment is very cozy and has everything you may need while on holiday. There are two spacious bedrooms, a comfortable living room, complete with a flat-screen tv, and stocked with a great collection of DVDs, books and info about the region. The master bedroom and the living room open up to the charming sun-room which leads to the back yard and on to the pool. We really enjoyed starting our day with a breakfast in the sun-room, and the pool looked like it would be a lot of fun at a warmer time of year. During our stay we made good use of the fully stocked kitchen; we were able to get all of our groceries either at the super market on the resort or from the one in Roldan just a few minutes away. Roldan also has some great butcher shops, so we loved having a BBQ at our disposal. The apartment was cozy and had a really cool vibe and we loved coming home after a long day of exploring. We were able to see a great deal of Spain from this location. The lovely cities of Murcia and Cartagena are within a short drive and the nearby Sierra Espuna National Park offers some great hikes. We even took a week-end trip to Morocco and Gibraltar. The resort itself has everything you might need. It is and is also really pretty. We loved just going out for a stroll, or having a drink at one of the bars. There is a pharmacy and a beauty salon, as well as a couple of great restaurants located right on the property. There are also playgrounds for the kids, tennis courts and, of course, a great golf course! We had a relaxing and fun holiday at this beautiful property and are looking forward to coming back with the whole family.

Great apartment

The holiday we had in la torre golf resort was a very relaxing holiday there was everything on site hairdresser, hotel, medical center, the Irish pub had a happy hour every Tues Wednesday and Thursday buy one drink and get the second one free. Really good Italian restruant which also did take away pizza. The apartment was very well equipped and newly done out with air conditioning wifi also a printer if you need to print your boarding pass before you leave. It was very clean, a two bed apartment, the balcony room has been turned into a conservatory type room with new glass doors which opened up to let the outside in, there was a small barbecue area. Also there is a washing machine. You literally took 25 steps and you were by the swimming pool, which there were bands in the apartment for the use of. It was only 4-500 meters to the clubhouse and also the golf range. The supermarket was only a short walk away and had everything you needed there. We really had a relaxing holiday and we will definitely be going again. The owner gave a good customer service with really more than you would expect from a rental. The instruction file was very helpful and clear.

La Torre is perfect for families and singles looking for a fun holiday. There are a lot of amenities to enjoy on the resort, including tennis, padel, golf, outside exercise stations. Swimming and cycling, you can rent bike's at the gift store opposite to Spar. Enjoy the onsite restaurants and Bars, and the local one's in the surrounding villages and towns.

Why they chose this property

We bought our apartment on La Torre having falling in love with the resort and the golf course.We chose this particular apartment because of it proximity to the pool and being a ground floor apartment it was the easiest and safest option for the our family.It's set in the quiet and safe region of Murcia, perfect for family vacations and golfers,ofcourse!. Close to the local beaches on the Mar Menor which is just a twenty min drive away. There are several nice towns nearby to visit, including Cartagena which has a Port and some nice shops, cafes and restaurants. You will also find lots of quaint little villages whilst driving through this very green, mountainous and sunny region.There are many beaches close to the resort within a 20 minute drive, you really are spoilt for choice for things to do.

What makes this property unique

What we love about our property is it's ease of access to all of the facilities on the resort. Just 100m from the club house and the swimming pool is just 10m from the gated back garden. With it being a ground floor apartment its very easy to come and go as you please. Especially if you are holidaying with children. We love to have bbq's in the afternoon after a day at the pool and then to chill out in the lounge or patio whilst enjoying some local refreshments! It's a very easy apartment to get around and maintain. It has also been freshly painted with new AC units in the bedrooms.
