The rental property itself was great, the best stocked of any vrbo we’ve stayed in. The property owners were easy to communicate with.The good: location to the grocery stores and the centre of La Cala. Well stocked property.The not so good: Loud! The A7 behind the house is loud at all hours, can’t sleep with a window open, sitting on the terrace all you hear is the highway. The walls are super thin, can hear the neighbours having a conversation. While it’s no fault of the owner there was construction at one neighbour for over three weeks….sounded like a freight train coming thru the house. It’s also very cold in the house. We were there February and March and we were always cold. Yes there’s a fireplace but it didn’t work and there is a wall ac/heat unit that we tuned on but unless your directly in front of it it’s cold. I’d recommend getting ceramic heaters that actually blow warm air for the living room.Overall though we enjoyed our stay.
Great villa, incredibly well equipped with everything you could need for your holiday. Booking, checking in and arrival were super easy and communication was excellent throughout. Perfect location for the beach, local facilities and to explore Southern Spain.

Fantastic location. Main road very close but not an issue. Lovely house although some aspects are a bit dated. In particular the roof terrace and garden area need some attention. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend to others.
This is a great property! We can't recommend it enough. The location is great - you can walk to the beach and there are lots of restaurants/bars in walking distance and there is a really good supermarket next door. The house is incredibly well equipped - everything you could possibly need, down to a big pile of beach towels and a lovely welcome pack. It has a real 'home from home' feel to it. The pool is really good - big enough to swim but also to play, and plenty of sun loungers. We had a great week and would love to come back! Thanks Pam and Paul.
This lovely holiday letting is in a perfect location. We had a lovely week here ands found it very relaxing there is noise from the road but this didn’t bother us. Very well equipped and had everything we needed.
We had a great trip to Pam & Paul’s property. Communication was excellent from my initial questions prior to booking, through the booking process and then with the agent throughout our break.
The location of the property is fantastic with a really good supermarket across the road and only a short walk to lovely restaurants and the beach.
The property is very well kitted out with everything you need to make you feel at home. Our kids loved the pool, which was generally very quiet - in fact we often had it to ourselves!
We were away with our kids (aged 11 and 14) and my Mum (almost 80) and the property and resort catered perfectly for us all.

As a group of 4 teenage girls and 3 Mums, we really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely house in a great location with good facilities. Fairly peaceful but near some really good restaurants serving delicious food. Would definitely come back.
Absolutely loved the location right next to the Mercadona, and an easy 10 minute walk down to the beachside chiringuitas. Nice amenities in the unit, all kitchen utensils were available, and we made many pleasant meals and afterwards enjoyed our tinto de verano on the terrace.
Lovely house in a fantastic location. It was stocked with plenty dishes, cleaning materials and loo rolls etc. It could have been a bit cleaner particularly floors and outdoor areas. Also the back door lock should be fixed.
Lovely property with everything you could possibly need. Supermarket over the road and 5 minute walk into town.
If we had one criticism it would be that we had to clean all the furniture outside before we could use it.

Fabulous
We had a fabulous holiday. It was really good to have both our sons there because we normally only get to see them together at Xmas.
I have to say Anne and I are really jealous of you two ( In a nice way ) for owning such a lovely home in Spain. Anne finds walking long distances troublesome so the proximity to the pool and restaurants etc was brilliant.
Everything one would need for a relaxing,comfortable stay. Excellent location very close to all amenities, great choice of restaurants and good bus service to travel futher afield. Only issue was the weather which was too hot for us and meant we lacked energy to do much. (Some people are never satisfied!!) No problem within the apartment as air conitioning was very effective.
Thanks for everything and already looking forward to our next visit.

Plenty of utensils, great bbq. Good outdoor space. Lovely pool area. Needs maintenance, air con not working in main bedroom, broken shower head in ensuite. Few other niggles, blocked drains, broken sunbed. Photos need updating e.g no waterfall at pool. If attention to detail would be a lovely property. It ticked all the boxes when choosing, but sadly fell short in reality.

The apartment was accurately described so we were not disappointed on arrival. The layout of the interior was spacious and very comfortable, ie proper comfy furniture, not hard uncomfortable furniture which you often get with travel agent holiday lets. It was nice and clean with plenty of bedding and towels etc. It is very well maintained so experienced no problems whilst we were there. The location is ideal for walking into Mihas centre (5mins) which has plenty of places to eat or drink. The beach area has a boardwalk which is an absolute joy to meander along whilst taking in the sea views, local fisherman at work etc. There are enough places to stop off for a drink, snack or even a meal of fresh fish! The apartment is very accessible and provided us with everything we wanted for our stay. I would recommend this property to my family and friends.

Beautiful 3 Storey House in La Cala
Beautiful 3 Storey property within 5 mins walk to centre of La Cala. The property is well appointed and set over 3 storeys. 3 adults and 2 children stayed and there was plenty of room. The property is well cared for and exceeded our expectations. The outdoor areas are important to us when choosing a property and this property was fantastic. There is an outdoor dining area with sun loungers and deckchairs on the ground floor and a top floor terrace with sun loungers, dining table/chairs and built in BBQ. The upstairs fridge/freezer on this level was fantastic and allowed us to store our drinks to save the journey back down to the kitchen. There was also plates/glasses/cutlery on the upstairs level for use with the BBQ however we never did use this ourselves. The view from the terrace looks out over the sea and the A7 road. This is a busy road and does create quite a bit of noise. However once the property is closed up at night you cannot hear anything from outside. The property is on a gated street which always feels more secure. The pools are just across the street. There are 2 pools - the bigger pool was great for the kids and the smaller pool is ideal for younger children. The pool was always clean and there was always plenty of sunbeds. There was always a lifeguard on duty between 11am and 8pm which was reassuring as our youngest daughter spends most of her time in the pool.The Mercadona supermarket is literally across the road which made shopping so much easier. The Supersol supermarket is only a few minutes walk away as an alternative and it opens on a Sunday. The beaches at La Cala are lovely and clean. There are a couple of play areas and gym equipment on the promenade. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes to suit everyone. We ate out on a couple of occasions and found a lovely little bar on the beach which serves drinks only and snacks. We chose not to get a hire car this year and the !ocation of this property means a car is not be necessary unless you wish to travel further afield than the bus routes. We took a train from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola and then the M220 bus which heads to Marbella but stops at La Cala on the way.It cost 20 euros for 5 people which is quite a saving on the cost of a taxi and took us just over an hour. We used the bus to go to both Marbella and Fuengirola both of which did not cost a lot.
Would highly recommend this apartment. Beautiful place to stay in La Cala.

Des vacances au top, idéal en famille ou entres amis, tout à proximité et bien situé pour toutes les activités sur la Costa del sol.

Great stay, house is well kitted out, some nice touches like uk plug adaptors everywhere. Wi-Fi worked in all areas and aircon very efficient and quiet. Very close to mercadona supermarket which was great and also motorway but this was not a problem. Great holiday and comms from Pam and Paul was excellent as was Amanda in Spain. All good.

Pam & I are retired nurses & also own a house in England. We have been visiting this area of Spain for many years and loved it so much that we now spend almost 6 months of the year here. The house is well equipped and is a real home from home.
La Cala village has a beautiful blue-flag beach with a permanent lifeguard during the season. There are also many fiestas and festivals throughout the year and lots of reasonable-priced restaurants in which to eat.
We love the location because of the easy access to many popular places like Marbella, Fuengirola, Malaga, and many of the famous 'white villages' including Mijas.
The house is also situated close to many famous Golf Courses These include the well-known La Cala course plus Miraflores, La Noria & oth
