Excelente.
My wife and I stayed here for a week. The apartment is a five minute walk from the metro station. The host was there to meet us at the apartment to give is the keys and show us around. They also gave recommendations for restaurants that were very good. We would definitely stay here again. The one downside is that it doesn't have air conditioning. When we were in Rome it was hot. The fans were adequate with the windows open but there was a lot of noise from traffic. And one night a local sports team must have won an important game because people were cheering, singing and honking their horns until 2:00 AM. It was too hot to sleep without having the windows open but it was too noisy to sleep with the windows open. Air-conditioning in the bedroom would have been very helpful. As long as it is not too hot, I would recommend this apartment.
This truly is a home away from home. Massimo and Monica are the consummate hosts--friendly, informative, helpful, and charming. The apartment is bright, fully-furnished (note the washing machine), stylish. It is centrally located with grocery stores, restaurants and other services nearby. A quick walk to Cipro Metro station makes travel to all parts of Rome quick and easy. A coffee shop/bar down the street operated by Marco is the perfect way to start the day or begin an evening, making this area the kind of neighborhood for living. Staying here will make your time in Rome all the more inviting and comfortable, and will make you return to this pleasant place.

Apartment in Rome
We stayed for five nights in early May. The apartment was good and had plenty of room, but there were a few things that would have made it better. It was mostly clean, though it needed a good dusting and the shower needed more scrubbing (the shower is quite small, by the way). There is a bit of noise from the street in the bedroom, but it's not bad. The pillows were a bit lumpy. I wish there was a sharp knife for paring fruit and vegetables, but Massimo was so nice he probably would have brought us one if I had asked. There were basic staples available like salt and sugar.
Massimo was incredibly friendly and helpful. I wish he had left a list of local recommendations for restaurants.
We were about a 10 minute walk from the metro and only a few minutes longer to get to Vatican Museums.
Thanks for your hospitality Mossimo!

Prima appartement
Kleine ongemakken:
- keukengerei is wat beperkt (bij. geen kartelmes, geen wijnglazen, alleen 2 kookpannen);
- kleine douchecabine zonder zeephouder

Comfortable and Convenient
My husband and I stayed in Appartamento Monte Mario for fifteen days in September and October. We had a wonderful experience, from the moment of our meeting with the courteous owner, Massimo. The apartment is well-located, within walking distance of the Vatican and even closer to the Cipro Metro Stop and major bus lines, as well as a large (for Rome) supermarket and many restaurants. It was as clean as could be and well supplied. We found that we had a view of some weekend fireworks that seemed to come from the top of Monte Mario. The apartment is closer to the bottom of Monte Mario, and we liked that. The only thing we could have wished for was a bigger cook top and perhaps a gas, rather than electric one. Almost no one else who is visiting Rome, one of the great dining out cities of the world, wants to spend time cooking; we ended up eating out a lot and being glad the small stove top pushed us to do so. We highly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying there again.

The apartment located on Via San Tommaso d'Aquino is comfortable, immaculate and well equipped. After exhausting days visiting Rome, we enjoyed finding ourselves in a quiet apartment, in a quiet and mainly residential area. Food shops are just a few steps away. The proximity to the metro station Cipro a few minutes is a great asset. The bus 492, departing from the Cipro station, leads directly into the heart of Rome. We will advise this rental to our friends and we will come back.
