Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit! Das Grundstück ist riesig und die drei Häuser sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Der Pool und die Tischtennisplatte waren unsere Highlights. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Ach ja und W-Lan war auch super für uns - 12 Personen konnten parallel ohne Probleme arbeiten.

Villa stay in Loulé
We absolutely loved our stay at Sean’s villa. Would highly recommend to anyone with a big group, adults or family. All of the facilities were impeccable. The villa was very modern and clean. The pool and volleyball court were a highlight and would definitely book again.

Perfect family stay
Family of 13, including 3 children, had a wonderful stay in this stunning villa in a beautiful setting. Communication with Sean (the host) was excellent before & during the stay. Plenty of space for a large group with the main villa, two annexes and the large grounds. Lovely seating areas on the terraces for evening gatherings & BBQ. Fully equipped kitchens & clean and tidy throughout on arrival. Pool a good size for the group but definitely needed the pool heating which we added (additional charge). Not much around within local walking distance especially if you have elderly or young in the group but we used Uber taxis for getting around which was easy enough, always available and a good price. This worked out much cheaper than renting a car/van for our group size. Overall, an excellent place for a group/family stay.

Excellent Property, 10/10
Our group of 18 had an amazing time staying at the estate. The property was very clean and the kitchens were well-furnished with plenty of utensils and crockery. It is private and secluded, but just a stone's throw away from local amenities, restaurants and beaches. Fortunately, it is also in prime location for Ubers and taxis should you not have a car. Sean and Diana were both extremely accommodating and friendly, and made the booking and check-in process extremely easy. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anybody looking to stay in the Algarve, and our group will definitely be back. Many thanks Sean!

Large group trip (no kids)
Really great property. Kitchen well equipped, nice large bedrooms, lots of outdoor space for everyone to sit around. Few things were a bit “rusty” (think because we went early in the season) - things like washing machine didn’t work, but the host was very quick to come and help so that’s great! Thanks so much :) would definitely come again!

Amazing property with little optimization potential
We stayed 6 weeks in this lovely property with a party of 7 people and 2 dogs and we really enjoyed our stay. The main house and the 2 smaller pool houses offer a certain privacy but also lots of spaces to spend time together. The view from the property is stunning (you can see the sea) as well as the garden is well maintained (gardener is coming twice a week at 8… starting time can be shifted to a later start which we did ;) The reason why we did not evaluate the property with 10/10 is, that for the money we spend for the property we would expect a better quality of daily used things like the washing machine, the dish washer and the oven. Also we had little issues with the electricity. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sean‘s lovely property and can really recommend a stay as the mentioned points above will be optimized.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette magnifique villa , le domaine est très grand , très bien entretenu et très bien équipé, la proximité de plusieurs ville (faro, Albufeira, quarteira ,villamoura) est un vrai plus ainsi que la facilité de déplacement grâce au taxi et Uber.

Amazing - will be back!
The photos don’t do this place justice! The grounds (which are perfectly maintained) are large enough to make you feel like you have your own part of the mountain. Very close to beaches, bars and restaurants and extremely easy to order an Uber. We stayed with 17 friends and didn’t feel on top of each other at all. We ended up staying in for BBQ’s some nights as the villa was so nice. Sean and team were very easy to deal with and I would recommend staying here.

Lovely villas in a stunning estate
Lovely villas in a stunning estate, the photos just don’t do it justice. Great for family and friends to relax, spend time together and enjoy the scenery. Plenty to occupy the kids locally at the beaches and water park and many restaurants to choose from. Property and pool in great condition and Sean and the property manager were always on hand to help with any enquiries. We all had a fantastic time!

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful estate. With our family of 16 people we enjoyed every day. For us a little too little shade to stay at the pool with 16 people, but this did not make the stay any less good for us. we would definitely go back.

Beautiful villa in a stunning location
We booked Lago da Serra last minute due to cancellation on our original booking. Sean and Sara were so accommodating from the outset. The property is truly stunning and the photos don’t do it justice. Our children were in the pool every waking hour and if we couldn’t find them there they were feeding the koi fish in the lake or playing beach volleyball. We used the professional chef services for my birthday celebrations, Seb and his team were excellent. The food was incredible and ticked all the boxes. We loved our stay so much we have booked a return in August 2023.

We had such a fantastic relaxing week. We stayed in the main house and we could not fault it. It was beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed and more. The views from the house and the outdoor space were amazing. There was a lovely outdoor pool, lake and small manmade beach with a volley ball court which the kids really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend. We will be back.

Highly recommend! This was the holiday we had all been waiting for and it did not disappoint! We were a group of friends celebrating my husbands 60th and we just wanted to relax and play a few rounds of golf. Sean was very easy to deal with and communicated with us throughout the stay. Having not been to the algarve before, he suggested some fantastic golf courses for us to try (Pine Cliffs was a highlight), as well as some lovely restaurants - we even had a chef come to the property and cook for us! We had a fantastic time and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Fantastic group holiday - highly recommended
We spent 7 days at the villa as part of a group holiday which had originally been planned for 12 adults and 2 children but changed to only 8 adults last minute following the introduction of quarantine in the UK, 2 days before we were due to travel. Sean the villa owner was fantastic throughout the entire process given the current uncertainties around international travel, he was in regular contact and allowed flexibility regarding the timing of balancing payments. The villa itself and the estate were as per the photographs on the site (awesome) and it was the perfect set up for a group trip, with the additional 2 outbuildings allowing enough space for all guests whilst still being close enough to be connected. The villa location is approx 15 minutes from both Val Do Lobo and Loulé easily accessible either via a hire car or Uber in the evening (tip if using Uber make sure you use the entrance by the Crest). Overall this was a perfect fit for our trip to Portugal, great location, stunning villa (and views), lovely pool and communal areas and everything needed for a holiday in the sun.

Secluded luxury
The high quality pictures don't do the estate justice, luxury from the front gates all the way throughout. Tough to find from airport taxis, but the coordinates and Google maps work a treat. Reinaldo friendly and helpful at the villa and Sean always on hand via email before and after your stay. A couple of minor tweaks would help improve the estate. In one of the bedrooms there are a couple of loose drawers, 2 caffitierres between 3 villas became an issue for our large party and the a couple of minor issues with the pool. The pool can become quite greasy with the use of suntan lotions and the accumulation of bugs left the pool feeling dirty after a couple of days. There were a few small cuts on the soles of feet from the pool floor. Overall 17 happy visitors who are highly recommending a stay here. We echo prior reviews and the listing in recommending it for able bodied visitors, the pathways are steep.

We had an excellent time at Lago da Serra. The accommodation was high-spec, clean and comfortable with space for working and entertaining. The gardens, pool area and outdoor living areas are immaculate. Check-in and out and communication with the estate manager was simple. The location and surrounding views are incredible. Very highly recommended.

Great views, and perfect chilling spot.
Beautiful place and great sunsets--that's what I'll remember this place for. To be honest the location can be a bit hard to find if you don't use Google maps, so I would suggest having a look at Google maps and pin pointing the main gate entrance exactly on the map (or your GPS), so you can get there quickly. Aside from missing towels and some amenities when we arrived (which was quickly solved), we had a great time and enjoyed the place thoroughly (you almost don't need to go anywhere else to enjoy yourself). :)

Having found this majestic site and now near completion i want to share with others what i have been fortunate to enjoy over the past years.
The Algarve has everything for all tastes and will be sure to make you want to return year after year.

Why they chose this property

Almancil is a great area that caters for everyone. You are a stone throw from the town centre with its array of exceptional cafes and restaurants and a short drive to the stunning beaches of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
It is perfectly situated for families and golfers who want to enjoy everything the Algarve has to offer but a nice distance away that you are not in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas.
Local restaurants serve freshly sourced food at great value.
The locals are extremely friendly and always welcoming which is one of the main attractions for buying in this gem of an area situated in the hills behind Almancil.

The uniqueness of this property is that it is the only one in the Algarve that has its own lake within its boundary that is solely for you and you only to enjoy.
The property has absolutely everything you and your family need for a great vacation.
You can enjoy your days lazing by the outdoor pool or have a paddle in the 3,000M2 lake. Alternatively, if you're feeling energetic you can walk around the 20,000M2 plot enjoying the sea views whilst sipping a cocktail in the sun or go fruit picking among the orchards.
