Friendly hosts and comfortable stay
Very nostalgic with the retro decoration and tasteful Christmas decoration. Lovely old farmhouse property which had fantastic amenities including games room and outdoor water features. Loved having a pool tournament with my wife and son. Went walking around the old quarry sites and riverside which had fantastic views and loved going in the local pub. Highly recommend. Thank you Val for being a lovely host. Hope to return some day with extended family after Covid is long gone

Child friendly
Great location for what we wanted to do - Beamish and Diggerland. Black Bull short walk and very child friendly.

Excellent Weekend
River View Cottage is well appointed for either a long weekend or longer stay and in a good location for exploring County Durham and Northumberland. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are revisiting later in the year and will be bringing our friends with us. Val made us more than welcome.
