About this property

Beach front big private house

Direct access to a long, white sand beach in a very natural environment.

The house has 6 bedrooms (5, with beach view), 4 toilets, a complete kitchen, a confortable living/dinning room, a seafront terrace with barbecue and a private garage with laundry machine.

The house is located in a quiet and friendly small village called Costa de Lavos. You can find there all you may need for the day-to-day living, including restaurants.

From May to September, it's possible to watch the traditional fishing "Art Xávega" in the beach and you can buy fish directly from the fishermans.

The beach is watched during July and August.

The surrounding area provides different leasure environments, perfect for water sports, cycling, walking tours and fishing. Or you can simply enjoy the beach, the marvelous sunsets, the food, the family/friends ....

If, during your stay, you miss the city and/or the nightlife you can find all this 15 minutes (11 km) away, at Figueira da Foz.

Costa de Lavos is wonderful by itself but is also a good strategic point to travel around the country: it is situated at 11 km from Figueira da Foz (city with railway station), 48 km from Leiria, 60 km from Coimbra, 73 km from Fátima, 100 km from Óbidos, 135 km from Porto ( city with airport) and 186 km from Lisbon (city with airport).

Car rental is a good option.

Casa da praia
Os proprietários da casa são umas pessoas preocupadas e cuidadosas. A casa é excelente, tem uma localização incrível, nós passámos a passagem do ano mas acredito que no verão seja mais agradável o facto de ter a praia à porta de casa. A vila é muito simpática e estamos a apenas 10 min de distância do centro da cidade da figueira. Foi uma ótima estadia.

Es war eine traumhafte Unterkunft direkt am Meer! Abends konnte man gemütlich am Kamin sitzen und dem Meeresrauschen lauschen.. Das Hause ist gut eingerichtet und auch für große Gruppen geeignet. Vielen vielen Dank für die tolle unkomplizierte Zeit! Wir kommen wieder 😊

Fantastische Lage
Will man das Brausen des Atlantischen Ozeans kombiniert mit einer unübertroffenen Aussicht genießen, dann ist dieses geräumige Haus eine wunderbare Basis für Ferien mir der gesamten Familie. Ein netter Empfang der Wirtin mit einer großen Fruchtschale war der perfekte Start für einen ruhigen Urlaub im kleinen Ferien und Fischerort Costa de Lavos nur ca 7 km von Figueira da Foz. Das Haus im typisch portugisischen Stil bietet viel Platz für alle die Ruhe und Natur lieben

Ferienhaus diekt am Meer in einem sympatischen Fischerdorf
Wir wurden ganz herzlich empfangen. Ganz flotte Vermieterin. Wir haben ein geräumiges , sauberes Haus vorgefunden. Es mangelt an nichts. Von aussen könnte das Haus einen neuen Anstrich ertragen. Die Sonnenuntergänge können nicht übertroffen werden. Die heimische Bevölkerung ist aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit. Super Haus für unkomplizierte Familien. Dieses Domizil werden wir in den nächsten Jahren sicher nochmals mieten. Vielen Dank für die super Ferien.

Big Beautiful House on the Big Beach
A big house with all the necessary facilities to make a wonderful holiday. Friendly people, brilliant views, big beach, great sunsets. Enough room for 3 generations comfortably. One of my best holidays ever.
