The cottage sleeps six people and has two double bedrooms, one twin room and two family bathrooms. Also in the cottage are a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room, both with a woodburning stove. Outside is a small decked area and roadside parking. Ideal for discovering the Peak District National Park, Kempshill Cottage is a lovely family holiday home at any time of the year, with plenty to see and do in the area.

Town: The village of Tideswell stands in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Famous for its fine church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as "The Cathedral of the Peak", the village is also noted for its well dressing and carnival wakes. There is excellent walking with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills and dales to the south and Millers Dale just outside the village. Mam Tor and Castleton are only a few miles away and the popular Spa town of Buxton is within a 15 minute drive.

End of summer break

Really lovely property, well equipped and very comfortable. Well located for exploring the Peaks. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely return here in the future!
