Our 6 bedroom/ 4 bathroom house is perfect for families or groups traveling to Austin. Located in a beautiful, established neighborhood within a few miles of downtown, the lake, and the hike and bike trail. Whether you are coming for entertainment, to explore the outdoors, or just want a quiet retreat, staying here will enable you to experience all that Austin has to offer. Our home is also only 2.5 miles from Downtown, 3.8 miles from the Convention Center, 4.5 miles from Rainey Street, and 17 miles from the Circuit of the Americas.

House:
This 7 bed, 4 bath home features a downstairs primary suite featuring a king sized bed and flat screen TV.
Downstairs also includes two additional bedrooms that feature desks and a second full bath.

Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms- one bedroom has a queen bed with a non attached full bath, and the other 2 upstairs bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. One of them has a twin bunk bed and the other a twin tractor bed. There is also a playroom upstairs with lots of toys and books.

The living areas include a fully-stocked kitchen with all appliances, a large comfortable family room with large flat-screen and dining room with seating for up to 6. And laundry room with washer/dryer.

Minutes from downtown and UT this home's location is perfect for UT games or events, conferences downtown or the many Austin events such as SXSW, ACL and F1.

If you book our home, you are agreeing to our house rules. If you break any of these rules, you will forfeit the $1500 security deposit and be asked to leave immediately.

Long-term tenant may be staying in the detached backhouse (he travels a lot) and doesn't have access to the backyard. The backhouse has a separate private entrance and there shouldn't be any interaction.

Terrific place for a family stay!

Couldn’t be happier with our experience. Plenty of rooms for everyone. Playroom for our 2-8 year olds was a hit! Candace was extremely responsive. Would stay there again. 5/5.

Fantastic Family Getaway!

We rented this house with my brother and sister and their families for our family reunion. With 6 kids under the age of 7 this was the PERFECT home! the backyard is fantastic, the playroom was a lifesaver and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not be on top of each other. The open concept downstairs is perfect for a larger family. Candace was wonderful to work with and was extremely responsive. We will definitely be renting this home again in the future!

Great Austin getaway

This property is in a perfect location to all things Austin: restaurants, outdoors. The owner was very helpful and responsive. The house was clean and "extra" amenities were provided. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Beautiful, So Close To Town & So Wonderfully Clean!

We were in Austin for a conference and stayed for 10 days in early May 2019. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 1 10 month old and the house was perfect for us! It was immaculate when we arrived and literally everything we could possibly need was there. Seeing as we had travelled from New Zealand one of the best things for us was how efficient the air conditioning was and having the option to use a ceiling fan was great for those of us who liked the warm. The door keypad was brilliant it meant we didn't need to worry about keys and we all had access to the house to come and go as we pleased. 4 bathrooms was another luxury and greatly appreciated. But without the doubt the best thing about this property were the lovely owners who checked in with us to see if we needed anything and were so accommodating. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, when we return we would love to stay here again!

Lovely home!

We have been lucky enough to be able to stay at Candace and Craig's house on multiple visits to Austin. It's a beautiful home located in a quiet neighborhood. Great parking and great+quick access to downtown and South Congress areas. Candace and Craig are so welcoming, helpful and kind. The house has multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and a large living and kitchen area which is great for groups. Their house is very clean and fully stocked with linens, towels, dishes, etc. They also have a laundry room which is great for longer stays. Lovely stay as always!

BEST VRBO experience! Beautiful Space!

Thank you Candace for allowing me to host my bridal party in your beautiful home. There was enough space for us to sprawl out, get ready and hangout together. Grocery stores, restaurants and anything else we needed, only minutes away. The kitchen was gorgeous! The island was so big; our makeup/hair stylists had plenty of room to lay out her gear and prep us while breakfast was served on the other end of the counter. Plenty of natural light for gorgeous pictures. The open concept of the first floor was so inviting for hanging out altogether. Bathrooms were clean and pretty. I loved the master bath, nice and big with two sinks on opposite sides of the tub to give us all the space we need to get ready. Thank you for the mobile hanger clothes rack! That was an extra helpful touch that allowed us to steam all of our outfits in the living room together. Candace was available via text to answer any questions for anything I wasn't able to locate myself in the house. It was anticipated to rain our wedding weekend. Candace let me know there were a handful of BIG umbrellas available if we needed them. So sweet! My brother ended up sleeping in the tractor bed and said it he was reminded of the lyric "tonight I sleep on a bed of nails" by Bon Jovi. So that's my only thumbs down for ya! I'd stay here again!

Wonderful stay

If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay in Austin, this is the place! This is the second time our company has stayed at Candace and Craig's house while working at a convention in Austin and it has again been a wonderful experience. Candace and Craig are super accommodating, helpful and kind. Their house is in a great location, only a 10-12 minute drive from the main convention sites. It's super easy to call an Uber or Lyft to the house and there is tons of parking available on the street. The house was so clean and fully stocked with dishes, linens, towels, etc. The numerous bedrooms and bathrooms really helped our group feel comfortable. Also there is a great vegan and craft beer restaurant called Beer Plant walking distance from the house.

Great location and beautiful home

Super easy to call a fasten to this location and tons of parking available on the street. The house was so clean, quiet, and fully stocked with dishes, linens, towels, etc. The numerous bedrooms and bathrooms really helped our group feel comfortable. Candace and Craig were so accommodating, helpful and kind. We would definitely recommend this location for anyone who is looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay at in Downtown Austin.
