Beautiful Chalet with mountain views, close to ski-lifts, bars and restaurants
Chalet Le Petit Nid is situated on a quiet road less than 10 minutes walk from the resort centre and the cable car. There are breathtaking panoramic views of the resort and the Bernese Alps from the chalet and a west facing patio for evening relaxation and sun. Haute-Nendaz is part of the “4 Vallées” ski area, the biggest ski resort in Switzerland and one of the biggest in Europe. It links the villages of Nendaz, Verbier, Veysonnaz and Thyon.
Guests must observe current Swiss government advice regarding Covid-19
The Chalet is on three levels:
Mid-level:
Spacious and comfortable living/dining room with wood burning stove, cable TV, DVD and a Wii games console. Fabulous uninterrupted mountain view from living room.
Open kitchen with oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, raclette and fondu set.
1 bedroom with 2 single beds and en-suite shower/WC.
Lower ground floor:
Entrance hall and jacket/shoe room.
1 bedroom with 2 single beds and en-suite shower/WC.
Toilet / Utility / technical room with washing machine, dryer, clothes rack, iron and ironing board.
Garage with space for one car, with electric ski boot warmer (10 pairs), ski racks and freezer.
Upper-level:
1 large bedroom with kingsize double bed, TV and en-suite bath/shower/WC.
1 bedroom with 2 single beds and en-suite shower/WC.
Outside:
North facing balcony with chairs, and large (42 m2), west facing patio. Patio table and chairs, parasol, charcoal barbecue, sun loungers (4). Very beautiful view of the mountains, the valley and the resort.
Rental cost includes linen and tourist taxes

High chair and travel cot available on request.
An extra folding single “Z-bed” is available on request for a child (9th person) to sleep in upper level bedrooms.
Guests must bring own linen, towels and duvet for cot and for extra person in folding bed.
Discounted ski hire is available in Neige Aventure Sports, 300m from chalet, at the bottom of the road if staying in the chalet.
Reserved outside parking for 2 cars. Single garage for one car.
Car is not essential – there is a 25 minute bus ride from Sion railway station with departures every hour and drop off less than 10 minutes from chalet. In the winter months snow chains and winter tyres are essential for access to the chalet.
There is an outside security camera above the front door. There are no cameras inside the property.
Rubbish must be taken away from the chalet on departure.
Ski lockers for hire are available at base of ski lift are recommended

About the host
Hosted by David Bell
I live with my family in Glasgow, Scotland. We purchased the chalet in 2016 as a base for family skiing holidays and summers hiking and cycling in the mountains. My kids are 12, 14 and 16 and Haute-Nendaz is a safe and friendly village for them to explore and to meet other kids of other nationalities. We love skiing and this is some of the best in the world.
Why they chose this property
The chalet is located on a quiet private road that is only a short walk from all the restaurants, bars and shops in the village, and less than 10 minutes from the cable car. The chalet is modern (built in 2006-7) and warm with underfloor heating throughout. Four comfortable bedrooms, all en-suite make for an excellent base for a family holiday or with friends. The views from the chalet are breath-taking.
