Great experience

The managers were very helpful and made this experience unforgettable… Boat rental, golf cart, taking us to the airport … the view is unbelievable, and the house very comfortable. We definitely plan on going back…:-)

A few days off the sailboat

Our group of 6 was sailing the Exhuma’s for the week and decided to spend a few days off boat midweek. The home is very clean, new and nicely furnished. Very nice washer and dryer helped us prepare once again for boat life. The view of the bay is spectacular and there is a beautiful pathway from the home down the beach. Sand dollers were everywhere during low tide. Lots of fun to stroll the beach with a cocktail.

Easter week

This is the house with the million dollar view. The back porch is always shady, and it was just amazing to look out and watch the tides change. There were several occasions where we saw little sharks or stingrays swimming by at high tide. Lots of crab and Sandollars. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, other than a big mixing bowl. there were nice thick bath towels and beach towels. Risa and Bread Boy always made sure we were taken care of! Our teenagers had fun driving the golf cart into town for ice cream or items we needed from the store. We had groceries delivered before our arrival. We ordered pizza ahead had for pick up on the day we did a fishing excursion. The veggie pizza was dynamite! I also can’t say enough about the bread at Lorraine‘s. And we saw an amazing sunset on our last night at Emerald’s. It was the perfect week after a year of being stuck at home during Covid. we will definitely be returning!

Amazing!

We just returned home from staying in lavender 4 bedroom home. This trip totally exceeded our expectations. The deck and tropical breezes are the best. Each morning we enjoyed coffee looking out over the extraordinary turquoise water. Our family of 5 was extremely comfortable in the home. Ulrisa was available to us whenever we needed her and otherwise we rarely saw her. We rented a 17' whaler from bread boy for the week and explored all over. We had Kobe, their son, as a guide the first day then we were comfortable on our own given our knowledge of boating. I think this is important if you plan on being extra adventurous as we were venturing to various cays within the land and sea park as well as going south to little farmers (loved Ty's there and turtles). We saw all kinds of sea life (sharks, fish galore, Rays, etc). It's like the beaches of St. John and the water of Belize but what sets it apart is the ability to explore so many small islands and completely empty beaches! We literally were the only people on exquisite beaches day after day...amazing. We jumped in the water and snorkeled place after place. Coral gardens, sea aquarium, far side at sand bar, etc. After a very full day on the water we loved coming back to our home away from home on black pointe. This is the perfect spot and Ulrisa and breadboy are wonderful to deal with from the house to the boat. It does require some extra work in regards to food. We packed a bunch of meat on dry ice and arranged for water and produce to be delivered...its so worth it though. If you like adventures and love snorkeling and boating and don't need a night life or fine dining restaurants and prefer not to be surrounded by oodles of people then black point and the exumas is for you. We are prayerful that we will return again to this peaceful and most beautiful place again soon!
