"The Odyssea" - Carillon Beach - Beautiful Home Two Lots From Beach!

Newer home built in 2016, in Carillon Beach resort, steps from beautiful and serene white sand beach! Carillon Beach offers private beach access, 3 swimming pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, and much more! Carillon's Market Street provides retail, eateries, and galleries in a relaxed, open-air atmosphere. Kayaking and paddle boating are available at the resort's picturesque lake, as well as a Health and Fitness Center to enjoy!

This newer home boasts three bedrooms and sleeps ten guests. The master suite has a king sized bed, private screened porch with ceiling fan, and a beautiful bathroom complete with soaking tub, separate shower, and vanity with two sinks. A second bedroom has a queen sized bed and private bath with tub. The third bedroom has a full and two twin beds, and connects to the hall bath with walk in shower. All bedrooms have televisions with cable and the home has wi-fi throughout. Enjoy your meals at the dining room table and/or granite kitchen bar with barstools. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and is fully stocked to prepare and serve your vacation meals. The side entry porch off the kitchen is conveniently located next to the outdoor shower area. The living room area has a queen sized sleeper sofa, along with additional seating, entertainment center, television, and plenty of books, games, and dvds for your enjoyment. The front entry is complete with a relaxing front porch with ceiling fans and comfortable furniture, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails!

A Nice Visit

Our family loves Carillon Beach, and the Odyssea was a great house. The location is close to walkover #1. We have stayed in several different houses in Carillon and this was one of our favorites.

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family and I had the BEST time staying at The Odyssea in Carillon Beach this year. The 6 of us (4 kids) really loved the house and amenities. The property was clean, check-in was a breeze, and the owners were friendly and responsive. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the dishes and cookware that we needed. It really was the perfect house for us to relax in and enjoy our time in this wonderful little community. The walk to the beach was super short and it didn't take any time at all to get over to the village, park, courts, or pools either. It's a great location! We HIGHLY recommend this property.

Family reunion

This was the fourth year we have stayed at Odyssea for our annual family reunion. It is a perfect size and right across the street from the beach walkover. Also close to other family members staying in Carillon. Owner was very responsive to ice maker problem and sent someone to fix it right away. We plan to stay here again next summer.

Beach Life

The Odyssea was better than described. It was perfect for our multi-generational family of 7. The kitchen was well equipped. It was very close to walkover 1. Reasonably weekly bike rentals and the kids were safe to ride as drivers were courteous and drive slow. We are already checking dates for next year!

Just Okay

We have stayed in the same community previously and had a much better experience. This visits challenges included no Wi-Fi, electrical outages in some rooms and finally no promised beach chair service on our first day.

Fantastic location!

The Odyssea is a wonderful beach house in the adorable community of Carillon. It is so close to the beach walkover, which was definitely a perk. The house is a good size as well, meeting all our needs for eating and sleeping arrangements. We loved the large kitchen table that holds 8 and the three extra bar stools for kids and friends. The outdoor shower is perfect as well for rinsing off all the sand. We found about a gazillion beautiful shells on the beach, so that was fun. The neighborhood pools and basketball courts were great too. Our only complaints were how bright the bedrooms were early in the morning, how slowly the queen bathroom tub/shower drained, a few minor kitchen appliance issues, and a few roaches. But all in all, we loved this house and area and would definitely return!

Second visit

This was our second time staying at The Oddysea. We wanted to stay at here for a third time in the past, but it was booked. This is by far our favorite house. It is PERFECT. The open floor plan works well for our family, gives everyone plenty of space, and privacy when needed. It is close to the beach, not far from the basketball courts (which our girls love because that is where all of the kids meet up in the evening), and walkable to two pools. We love sitting on the porch reading a book and watching the world go by. We have stayed in several other houses over the years, but once we found the Oddysea, we never looked anywhere else. It is by far the best house in Carillon Beach. The only thing we would like to see is the king sized bed updated. It is not comfortable, and you sleep on an angle on either side of the bed. Other than that, this house is absolutely perfect!

Our stay 2023

We love this home and are thrilled for our 3rd year in a row. The location is beautiful and home is always tidy and clean. I was disappointed there weren’t any beach towels. Maybe I missed that in an email but that’s something so tricky to have to travel with. The sink drain won’t work - the stopper is stuck and we had issues with it each day but sure did our best. We all coughed a lot thus trip and that may sound crazy but we noticed all the vents in the rooms are overflowing with lent. They are covered and the dust is coming out of it. We loved and appreciated the new bath towels this year! And also great new sheets in the lower bunk bed. (The top bunk sheets had rips in them fyi). Overall, we adore this house!! 3 years in a row and its beautiful. We left it almost spot less and even washed and dried all the towels to save time for the cleaning staff . Thanks for allowing it to be such a happy place for our little family!!

Great house and location

Stayed over thanksgiving with my family. This is a wonderful property and the owners were fantastically communicative through the rental and check in process! The kitchen is better stocked with pots/pans/utensils/etc. than any other beach home I’ve rented if you like to cook. Highly recommend!

The Odyssea was wonderful!

We have stayed on Carillon property for 27 years, but this is our first time at the Odyssea. It was well stocked, very clean, and we would absolutely stay here again. I wish they had more lighting in the bedrooms, but that’s a minor complaint. The location was absolutely wonderful! It is just steps to the walkover and very close to the heated pool. Looking forward to coming again!
