Our beach condo has two bedrooms & two baths with a King bed in the master bedroom, and twin beds in the guest room.
There's a cozy fireplace in the living room and a wide screen Smart TV with cable in the living room The condo has heating and air conditioning plus ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom.
The kitchen is state-of-the-art with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, microwave, dishwasher, double-door refrigerator and custom built wood cabinets.
The roomy dining area is great for fine dining, or a casual feel. It overlooks the large balcony which has its own table, chairs, barbecue, and fabulous ocean view.
There are hardwood floors throughout the condo and tile floors in the baths. The bathrooms have granite counters and wood cabinets. The master bath has a travertine shower and modern shower fixtures. The hall bathroom has been completely remodeled and includes a shower seat, two shower heads and grab bars. There's also a washer/dryer unit. Sheets and towels are provided.
Other amenities include a Heated Pool & Spa with a travertine deck, and gated, covered parking. Beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, and a wagon for carting them to the beach are ready and waiting.
San Clemente is called "The Spanish Village by the Sea!". The village has charming shops, boutiques and restaurants. a historic pubic library, and a Fed-Ex store. Our condo is located in the popular "Pier Bowl" area. There are restaurants on and near the pier as well as a small grocery, coffee shop and ice cream parlor across the street. There's a beach path for walking that meanders along the coast. It's a 3 minute walk to the pier and 2 short blocks to the village. There are a few local golf clubs with incredible views nearby.
If you are looking for more shopping, the San Clemente Outlet Mall is now open. Farther away, there's incredible shopping at Mission Valley Mall, Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza, world class entertainment at the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center, Verizon Amphitheater and Honda Center as well as sports at the Angel Qualcomm Stadiums.
You can explore further by taking the Amtrak from the pier to San Diego or you can drive up the coast to Dana Point (jet skiing, para sailing, fishing and more) or on up to Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Legoland, Sea World and the world famous San Diego zoo are about an hour away. The Metrolink train stops at the pier on Saturdays and Sundays and every day at North Beach off of Pico Avenue.
