We adore adore time at stravithie! The grounds are beautiful, Flat was comfortable, and our favorite had to be there lovely dog! Hope to be back soon!

Great stay in super quiet and private location

Thanks very much for the rental! We enjoyed our stay very much. So quiet and I saw a badger on my way out one morning which is a first for me!

Little gem .

Lovely little flat in beautiful grounds. Pictures do not do justice. A couple of bathroom plumbing issues that need to be fixed . Owners David and Renata a delight! Thank you

A country cottage on the outskirts of St Andrews.

When I booked this property, I really didn't know what to expect. First of all, the property is no more than 10 minutes from St. Andrews town centre and can be reached by taxi or Uber. The grounds are spacious and immaculate. You can walk all around the beautiful landscape and feel like you're on a country hike. David and Renate are the consummate hosts. They gave us great information about local history, food and other tips to enhance our stay. They made us feel at home and very welcome. The cottage we stayed in was well furnished and extremely clean. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the peace and quiet. It was a pleasant surprise and I would definitely recommend this property to my fellow travelers. w

Tranquil relaxation in fabulous grounds

We loved our two week stay in the Barn at Stravithie Castle. David and Renata were the best hosts we've ever had. Very friendly, approachable and so helpful with a couple of problems and also telling us where to go etc. the view from the lounge of the field and trees was wonderful to see every day and the wider grounds with trees, stream, lawns, swings and trampoline made our stay so relaxing and fun for our 7 year old as well. We will hopefully be back again next year!
