My accommodation is a few steps from the sea. The newly renovated house is suitable for couples, families and groups. 2 large terraces will allow you to enjoy a splendid view of the sea, the Etna, Taormina and of the Calabrian coast. The house consists of 2 floors plus a roof terrace. A large double bedroom with wardrobe. A second double bedroom, also equipped with a wardrobe, which can also be transformed into a single room. A large and bright living room on the first floor with a large sofa which, if necessary, can be transformed into a double bed. Upon returning from the sea, an outdoor shower will wait for you in the inner courtyard to refresh you. Large full bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor bathroom with sink, toilet and bidet. The house is equipped with all comforts: wifi, alexa, flat screen tv, chromecast.

Sweet little village!

We loved staying in little Blue 54. Great place with stunning views of Mt. Etna from the rooftop terrace and peaceful water views as we sipped coffee. Very quiet town this time of year, but we made day trips easily going north to Taormina and south to Syracuse. Sergio was flexible and helpful with every question we had. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderfull house at the seaside with great Etna-View

We spent just a few days in Pozzillo, but we had a very good time and so beautiful moments. The Etna, Catania and Taormina are easy to reach by car. The hosts of Blue54 are so nice and we would come back to this house.

Een fijne plek om te verblijven

Een mooi en groot huis. Modern ingericht. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien er is ruim voldoende servies. Op elk van de 3 etages terras met zitjes. Prachtig uitzicht over zee. Buurtwinkel in de straat. Sergio is een zeer fijne host. Zijn boek met info over restaurants, uitjes ed is zeer uitgebreid. Een fijne plek om te verblijven.

Wonderful stay

Our experience in Pozzillo was wonderful from beginning to end. Sergio was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The home is immaculate and just as described. It had everything we needed for our 5 night stay in the countryside. The home was peaceful and the neighborhood quiet, which was welcome after our outings to Catania, Taormina, and Agrigento. Be mindful that you really should have a car if you stay at this property. There are several terraces to enjoy the spectacular sea views. We cooked a lovely meal one night using the fresh produce from Maria’s market which was only 2 doors down the street. The market had all the basic necessities one might need as well as fresh produce brought in by local farmers and a selection of meats and cheeses. There is also a great chiosco around the corner which we walked to every morning for espresso and croissants. Pozzillo is a quaint and quiet little town that is uniquely Sicily. Sergio’s house was a wonderful find!

Very enjoyable

We really enjoyed our stay at Sergio's house, excellent host, house was spotlessly clean, everything we needed for a lovely week exploring Sicily. My only criticism is that there is nothing in the small fishing village, very isolated, you definitely do need a car to reach restaurants, supermarkets etc. But the view of Etna and the sea is amazing,

Best place ever!

This place was perfect. Great location to explore other cities. Situated right on the sea with a gorgeous view of Mt Etna. Cute little seaside town. The house had everything required and was very comfortable. We loved it! We will come back!

Fabuleux Entre mer et montagne Villa pleine de charme

Totale disponibilité de Sergio malgré notre arrivée tardive à la location. Précieuse source de renseignement de tous ordres. Grands volumes avec grandes baies vitrées et plusieurs terrasses qui donnent soit sur la mer ou le fabuleux Etna. Tout confort y compris pour cuisiner.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage

Die Unterkunft über 3 Etagen mit 2 Terrassen war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen. Sergio war ein in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereiter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

perfection!

I cannot recommend this VRBO enough.....we loved every minute of our stay here! The apartment looks tiny from the street but is roomy and comfortable. We have a family of four and there was more than enough room for everyone. Everything has been renovated and very well equipped. Sergio is a FANTASTIC host who even helped me with questions about other areas of Italy (outside Sicily) because I could not get other hosts to respond to my questions. He was literally available 24/7 and would respond immediately. He made great recommendations for food and outings. You will definitely need a car for Sicily, especially to get to this location. Parking is nearby and was never a problem. There are several terraces, including one on the roof that was my favorite spot. Be aware that there are many stairs within the property which may be problematic for some people-the kitchen and living areas (outside of the bedrooms) are on the second level. We loved this property and would definitely return.

Eine wunderschönes Appartement am Meer

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in der sehr geräumigen Unterkunft in Pozzillo am Meer. Von der Dachterasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Ätna, den Ort und das Meer. Pozzillo ist zentral gelegen und eignet sich gut für Ausflüge in die nähere Inselumgebung und den Ätna.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Pozzillo

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in dem schönen Haus in Pozzillo! Der Check-In war - trotz Corona - sehr unkompliziert und nett. Da Sergio selbst an dem Tag nicht in der Nähe war, kam seine Familie, um uns ganz nett zu begrüßen und uns alles zu zeigen. Selbst kleine sizilianische Leckereien lagen bereit. Das Haus an sich war sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Bett bequem, die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auf den drei wunderbaren Terrassen ließ es sich ganz toll entspannen. Von der obersten Terrasse aus hatte man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer und den Ätna. Sergio war ein ganz toller Gastgeber. Immer stets um unser Wohlergehen bemüht, hat regelmäßig gefragt, ob alles okay ist und Tipps für Ausflüge usw. gegeben. Auch über die neuen Corona-Regeln, die alle paar Tage von der Regierung erlassen wurden, hat er uns informiert. Wir hatten wirklich einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Pozzillo an sich ist ein sehr ruhiges kleines Städtchen, in dem es nicht allzu viel zu tun/sehen gibt. Da wir aber ein Mietauto hatten, war das überhaupt nicht schlimm, wir sind eh viel über die Insel gefahren. Etwas schade war es, dass es keinen richtigen Strand in der Nähe gibt, aber direkt hinter dem Haus konnten wir bei ruhigem Wasser an den Felsen ins Wasser und Baden, so haben es auch die Einheimischen gemacht. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen und kommen sicherlich wieder. Danke Sergio, dass du dich so um uns gekümmert hast. Wir haben dein kleines Häuschen mit der blauen Tür in unser Herz geschlossen!

Maison au bord de la mer idéalement placée pour découvrir l'ouest de la Sicile

Point de vue superbe du port et de la mer depuis le toit terrasse. Conforme en tous points à la description, maison très bien entretenue. Parfaite pour découvrir l'ouest de la Sicile. Sehr schönes Ferienhaus am Meer

Wir waren Anfang März nur für ein paar Tage in Sergios sehr schönem Haus in Pozzillo, bis wir unseren Urlaub aufgrund der Coronakrise leider vorzeitig abbrechen mussten. Sergio war sehr entgegenkommend in dieser Angelegenheit. Einen freundlicheren und faireren Vermieter kann man sich nicht wünschen! Das Haus ist wirklich so schön und so gepflegt, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und hoffen, dass wir bald wiederkommen können.

We had a great time in Sicily. Sergio was very friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and had whatever you needed and more. We enjoyed our time at the roof terrace, great view to mount etna and sea. This place is highly recommended. We are regular travellers and I can say this place was one of the best we have been to.

Willkommen auf Sizilien

Wir (Familie mir zwei Kindern im Alter von 11 und 13 Jahren] sind gerade zurück von einem einwöchigen Aufenthalt auf Sizilien in Sergios wunderbarer Wohnung (die Fotos sind absolut realistisch) und waren uns schon am ersten Tag einig, dass wir uns gut vorstellen können, erneut genau dorthin zu fahren. Der Ort, ein sehr ruhiges, kleines Fischerörtchen, liegt taktisch gut zwischen Catania und Taormina - und wir waren froh, nach einem schönen und rummeligen Tag in einer anderen Stadt wieder in unsere entspannte Umgebung zurückzukehren und auf der Dachterrasse noch ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Praktischerweise hat Sergio ein kleines „Handbuch“ zusammengestellt mit Tipps und Hinweisen für: Ausflüge, Restaurantbesuche, kulinarische Köstlichkeiten Siziliens und wichtigen Adressen - einfach toll. Auch zwischendurch gab es mal eine SMS um auf eine Festivität mit lokalen Spezialitäten im Nachbarort hinzuweisen. Ein großes Highlight für unsere Kinder war neben dem morgendlichen Ätna-Besuch aber definitiv das Baden in „Dem Bassin“, wie wir es getauft haben: auch auf Hinweis von Sergio sind in fußläufiger Entfernung diverse kleine durch Lavastein abgetrennte Buchten und Becken, in denen unsere Kinder und wir baden und schnorcheln konnten. Fazit: Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Mooi ruim appartement/woning

Een heel mooi appartement met zicht op de zee en de Etna. De eigenaar spreekt goed Engels, is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel op vragen. Heel prettig. Het appartement heeft verschillende verdiepingen (slaapgedeelte beneden, woonkamer en keuken op de 1e verdieping en een mooi dakterras) en is van alle gemakken voorzien behalve airco. Airco zou een welkome toe voeging zijn. Vlak bij het appartement is een levensmiddelenwinkeltje, een eenvoudig visrestaurant en een pizzeria. Verder biedt de directe omgeving weinig vertier. Ideaal voor rustzoekers.

Excellent séjour

La propriété de Sergio est magnifique, grande et très fonctionnelle. Nous avons apprécié la douche extérieure pour les retours de baignade. La maison est impeccable et le linge fourni est de très grande qualité. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine et Sergio est très réactif en cas de probléme, il est très soucieux du bien-être de ses hôtes .Nous recommandons vivement cette location haut de gamme.
