Perfect stay

The property had everything we wanted for our stay. Convenient location (walkable or metro to centre of Porto), quiet, comfortable, clean. Maria was a perfect host. Gave us some items for our stay and was very helpful and communicative. Thanks!

Piso en buen estado, anfitriones muy detallistas y preocupados por una buena estancia. La zona no es de lo mejor aunque si esta muy cerca del centro. En esta epoca de invierno bastante humedo. Pero disponen de climatizadores. Grata experiencia.

Très bel appartement

Excellent experience

Lovely apartment with available street parking. Great location with walk-in distance to the center of town. The communication with Maria was excellent. The small little touches she did - providing orange juice, milk, crackers, and etc., - are very nice. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We had a great time in Porto!

Location très correcte avec propriétaire charmante

Même si l'immeuble est un peu vieillot, la location est d'une propreté remarquable. La propriétaire Maria est très accueillante et très avenante. Elle a fait beaucoup d'efforts pour nous parler en français et elle sait mettre son appartement dans les meilleurs disposition pour si sentir bien. Beaucoup de petites attentions ont été très appréciées lors de notre arrivée : gâteaux, boissons, carte de métro ... La grande terrasse est un plus pour en profiter s'il fait beau.

Straßenbahn sowie Einkaufsmöglichlichkeiten in relativer Nähe. 3. OG ohne Aufzug. 2 Balkone. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wohnung etwas hellhörig (Fernseher vom Nachbarn, Hundegebell).

Excellent hosts; clean, sunny well-equipped place in "suburb"

We had a car for day trips outside the city, so we needed to be out of the center in order to park, which meant several 1.5 mile walks to old town or short drives to supermarket, bakery, etc. Train station close but we didn't use it. Maria was super helpful, engaging, responsive and professional as a host. The sun porch is a great amenity, as is the washing machine. The apartment is very nice, clean and well-equipped. We had some noise issues with neighbors that kept us up or woke us up, the only real factors that detracted from the setting. The apartment is a great value listing.

Appartement très confortable

Hôtes très accueillants et serviables. Appartement propre et confortable, et situé à 20 minutes de marche du Porto historique. Il est aussi situé très près de la station de métro Lapa, qui se trouve sur la ligne en provenance de l’aéroport. Seul petit point « négatif », il n’y a pas de cafetière, comme mentionné dans l’annonce, mais plutôt une bouilloire. Séjour malgré tout fort agréable. Merci à Maria et Rui.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit kleinen Einschränkungen

Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr angenehm, auch wenn wir bei der Ankunft etwas vor dem Haus warten mussten. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Balkon ist schön groß und ein guter Ort, um sich abends vom Sightseeing zu erholen. Die nächste Metrostation ist nur 5 min. Fußweg entfernt. Nach weiteren 5-10 min. Fußweg kommt man bereits in den Bereich der Innenstadt. Auf dem Rückweg ist der kleine Anstieg den Hügel hoch zum Haus nicht anstrengend. Gute Supermärkte finden sich in der Nähe. Die unmittelbare Umgebung gehört nicht zu den schönsten Gegenden der Stadt. Einziger wirklicher Knackpunkt war aber die enorme Hellhörigkeit im Haus. Hundegebell und Fernseher waren abends sehr deutlich in allen Zimmern zu hören, auch wenn sie aus der Wohnung zwei Stockwerke tiefer kamen. Und an einem Nachmittag wurden wir durch Renovierungslärm und E-Gitarre regelrecht aus der Wohnung vertrieben. Für eher lärmsensible Menschen also eher schwierig.

Great apartment and great host in perfect location

Idyllic holiday in Porto at Easter 2019. The apartment was perfect, central enough to walk everywhere but tucked away in safe and quiet neighbourhood. Metro station is 3 minutes walk with direct link to airport. Apartment has all amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. Maria left milk, coffee, crackers, jam, etc which was very kind because shops were closed by the time we arrived. Would definitely stay again on next visit to Porto.

Appartement très confortable

Joli appartement confortable, décoré avec gout et bien équipé. Situation dans un quartier calme (dommage que certains voisins l'étaient un peu moins), à l'abri des endroits touristiques. La terrasse ensoleillée dès le matin fut très appréciée même en Hiver. Propriétaires très sympathiques et chaleureux qui ont le sens de l'accueil.

Fantastic apartment, everything you could need. Amazing hosts.

This property was an amazing find, felt more like a home than a holiday rental. Equiped with everything you could need, including really thoughtful items like a sewing kit. Located in a quiet residential area, which we loved, in easy reach of everything. Great for exploring on foot but very hilly. Nowhere was difficult to get to however as public transport is cheap, reliable and efficient via metro, bus or tram. Rui & Maria were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Basic foods supplied, water, milk, tea, coffee & wine! Great value for money as is the airport transfer provided at additional cost by Rui. We loved Porto & we loved their apartment. If we return to Porto we will definately stay here again. Muito obrigada.

Appartement calme et bien situé

Nous avons passé un bon séjour à Porto. L'appartement est propre, bien situé (proche de la station de métro , et la terrasse est très agréable. Les chambres sont grandes et bien décorées.

Gute Unterkunft

Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Man kann hier für eine Städtereise sehr gut wohnen. Durch die Nähe zur Metro ist man sehr schnell im Zentrum. Die große Dachterasse kann man zum abendlichen entspannen nutzen. Maria ist sehr hilfsbereit. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Selbst Wasser, Saft und Knabbereien standen bereit. Der Transport zum Flughafen wurde geregelt und es klappte alles hervorragend.
