60th birthday

Returned from a lovely stay and didnt want to leave. The cottage was just what we needed for a beautiful relaxing break to celebrate a big birthday. To relax in the hot tub after a day exploring was wonderful. Claire was a amazing lady. We got to meet the dogs and loved the little chats we had. The homemade jam was delicious and can continue to enjoy while back at home. Would recommend this beautiful cottage with its magical views to anyone. Thank you for making our getaway perfect

Cheeky break

The property location was what the doctor ordered to getaway from the stresses of everyday life.. The hot tub was brillant good chill time and the weather was kind so could see the night sky really clear .. The cottage was fully equipped but seems 2 tVS from the bedrooms are no longer available and one bedroom not sure what the issue was and some plug ins had been added due to a now very nice smell thats what brought down the stars a bit .. whatever it was must have been recent .. we did spray a bit We didn't see a sole while there, but nuce touch if biscuits were left for us . All in all it was comfortable clean in the right places and just what we needed to explore and chill

Lovely place to stay

We had a wonderful few days at Ervine Cottage. The hot tub is a new addition since we last stayed and we took full advantage of it: stargazing on an October night was memorable. The cottage is lovely, homely and warm. The view from the conservatory is beautiful. It feels like a real retreat. We will be back (all being well).

Summer holiday

We had a lovely stay at Ervine Cottage. The cottage was perfect for a family. Situated in a quiet rural location with stunning views. Plenty of walks and cycling and a relaxing time in the hot tub. The hosts Barbara and David couldn’t have been more helpful and their dogs Lucy and Jenny were great fun. We will definitely be back to explore and relax again.

Perfect getaway

A perfect cottage in a perfect location. The cottage had everything we needed & more, a welcome tray awaited us with milk & fresh juice in the fridge. The outlook was beautiful & we made good use of the hot tub which was so relaxing, even in the rain. We will recommend this accommodation to family & friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing Couple of Days

The property was amazing, fantastic feel, as soon as you pull up. Drive is about 1/2 a mile long, it is very secluded, amazing at night in the hot tub, you cannot see another building, it is all just fields and woods, as far as you can see. It is approx. 5-6 miles to all amenities, like cash machine, supermarkets and eating venues. It is a stunning part of the country and we came away really chilled.

Delightful short break

Beautifully positioned cottage in the middle of nowhere (apart from the owners cottage a short distance away) with stunning distant views over beautiful gardens. The cottage is spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The hosts are warm and friendly, giving us our space but there if required.

Lovely cottage in a lovely setting

Really enjoyed our stay here. Cottage has everything you need plus extra. The location is perfect. Close enough you can still get to the shops but completely remote if that makes sense. My two children loved running round the gardens and playing in the hot tub. The owner gave some great recommendations to days out which we did. Highly recommend hall hill farm, hamesterly forest and Diggerland. The black horse pub does an amazing Sunday dinner which we all enjoyed. Sad to be going home as the kids have very much settled in and would stay even longer.

Rural luxury

A sumptuous property with a real luxury feel. Amazing hot tub, with views by day and stars by night. Very rural but only 10 minutes to every conceivable shop. Very accommodating owners and new style check in was reassuring. Would certainly rebook.

Rural retreat

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and was shown around and given relevant information. The spacious cottage was immaculate with a cosy feel. Claire and Barbara took us into the garden via the conservatory, WOW!! What a view over the garden and countryside. A wonderful cottage for a long or short stay with a generous welcome pack which was very much appreciated. The hot tub was amazing whether used in the morning or evening looking at the stars. We would not hesitate to return.

Fabulous!!!

Must be the best cottage we've ever stayed in, complete peace and tranquillity wonderful. The only noise being the birds, wind in the trees and the odd aeroplane flying over. The cottage is outstanding with everything you could need and more from the fab welcome pack with seriously yummy home made jam to the parking permit for the local towns. Barbara, David & Lucy the pup made us very welcome and we felt very much at home. We will definitely be back for one of the most relaxing and chilled breaks ever. .

Fabulous home from home in a quiet blissful location

We could not fault the whole weekend in the cottage, from the lovely welcome pack to the only sound of birds and buzzing bees, such a tranquil and calming place away from everything. Highly recommended

Lovely cottage, location and hosts

Location is great, remote except for owner's David and Barbara's house. Very peaceful with excellent views. David and Barbara are lovely hosts and provided a much appreciated and homely welcome pack that helped since we arrived around 7:30pm, nothing was too much trouble and they have a valuable knowledge of the local area. Cottage is lovely, cosy, clean and very well presented. Really enjoyed our stay which was for attend a family function in the area.
