Note: Regretfully, no children, only babies up to the age of 6 months (at time of holiday) welcome.
Region: Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
Town: This little hamlet lies five miles north-west from Truro, in Cornwall, and is home to the Cornish Ice Cream Farm. Champion Cornish ice cream has been following the family recipe for generations, with free range milk from their grazing herd. Pay a visit to taste a whole range of delicious flavours the year-round. Nestled in a beautiful valley, this farm is just a stone’s show from the dramatic coastline in North Cornwall, where you can meet the animals, watch the process of ice cream making and enjoy an indulgent afternoon with freshly baked cakes and pastries from the tearoom. Venture on an afternoon stroll and take the Callestick and Ventongimps circular walk, which takes you past Healeys Cyder Farm, through Penhallow and over to the Ventongimps Moor Nature Reserve. This rich mosaic of wet and dry heath, offers glorious wildlife to explore. Spend a day with the family at Healeys Cyder Farm, home to Rattler Cyder! Take a journey through the press house, jam factory, museum, distillery and cellars on a guided tour, before sampling the wines, ciders, juices and jams. The kids will love a ride on the tractor or petting the animals and you can even enjoy a traditional Cornish cream tea! Perranporth is a charming seaside town located on the rugged North Cornwall Coast, with its three miles of golden sands, clear waters and spectacular cliff walks. Further afield, Newquay enjoys a fabulous surf, Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo. This interesting region of Cornwall makes a fabulous base to choose for your next British holiday!
