Nice home with comfy beds

The home was spacious and clean with great amenities, such as the pool and arcade. We felt safe and had a nice place to rest our heads after a long day.This home needs a little TLC. There were quite a few things that need to be repaired, the flooring I would say is the biggest Repair that needs to be done, several of us caught our feet on the lifting flooring causing one of us to cut our foot. The entry to the home is 1 key, a key-less entry would be better for guests for many reasons. The TV in the queen bed room still does not work. I had read other reviews with these complaints and said maybe they are fixed now, but no they are not. I messaged the owner about these items that need attention and he said they will be fixed. The AC is controlled by the owner and you cannot set it below 72 and it says if you do and the unit breaks he will bill you for the repair. We would leave with AC at 72 and come back it would be set to 75, after a long day in the hot FL sun I don't want to enter a 75' home.The owner did not really respond to some questions in a timely manner when I first booked, but when it was time for my reservation check in he communicated in a timely manner. Over all we enjoyed our stay!

Great stay. The water at the pool is like bath water. Only complaint is floor is coming up in a few places and getting in at times can take long.

Needs some updates

The check in process into the resort was very easy through security. Entry into the unit was a functional but outdated, it was a key box with only one key. A keypad door lock would be nice as only the key box is mounted high and not all guests can reach it. The LVP flooring was coming up in multiple areas around the unit.Only one extra trash bag was supplied and no dishwasher or washer detergent. The floors had hair from previous guests and didn’t seem to be very clean. The communication was odd as we were thanked and asked how our stay was 1 month before arriving then the day of our are when we asked to get in early we never heard anything back. Overall we were not impressed with this unit and would not stay here again. The resort itself was amazing, great pool area,arcade, and playground!

Disney Family Vacay

Was a great condo for our family with two toddlers, definitely worth the price. The pool and clubhouse was great. The traffic to and from Disney/Universal was horrible on the way back to the condo, but thankfully everyone was exhausted from a day of parks!

Perfect Place to Stay for a Disney Vacation

We love Windsor Hills and have stayed here before. This condo fit our needs well. Frankly, we weren't there that often, as most days were spent at nearby Disney Resort Theme Parks! But when we were "home," we enjoyed our time. The space was very clean when we arrived, and fully stocked for families with little children (which we do not, but I was impressed!). The condo had a closet full of strollers, pack 'n' plays, a high chair and other essential baby / toddler-needs for travelling families. I will note the bedroom furniture is showing some wear and we communicated this with the owner. It is to be expected, as I'm sure this unit turns over weekly. We did have a snag upon check-in at the Windsor Hills' security gate, but it was addressed with urgency, which was appreciated. The on-premise pool and other amenities are amazing and this condo met both our budget and expectations. Thank you!

Review of Condo

Overall a nice, clean place to stay. All the tv remotes didn’t work . Had to buy batteries for them. The vinyl floor in the living room has a couple of planks that are trip hazards , so is the security tag that was left on the rug. Condo has a musty or smoky smell when you first walk in.

Exactly what we were looking for.

The place is just as advertised. Bathrooms, kitchen, living room and bedrooms very clean. It was exactly what we needed when we finished our busy day running around town. A place to relax and wind down before going to bed. Highly recommend

Uncomfortable In Condo

Nice home but owner controlled the wifi thermostat so we stayed cool & uncomfortable, especially my elderly mom. If this is how vacation home rentals operate then I'm going back to Embassy Suites where I can control my comfort level with the heat/ac. Great neighborhood close to lots of restaurants, shops and activities. Traffick is very congested.

Great family break

We met our children and grandkids here for the weekend, it was a fantastic stay! The townhouse was nicely appointed and stocked with all the basics plus! There was a pack and play, highchair, stroller, pool noodles, beach towels, etc. The pool and activity areas were dantastic! Just bring yourselves, & clothes.

Upon check in security didn’t have our reservation. They were able to give me a phone number for management that they answered. Condo was very clean. Using the little key box for key was a pain. Other than that and the tv’s were all messed up probably from the previous guest that I was able to figure out. All was good.

Great spot!

The property is nice and located in a great area. The property is secured with an alarm for safety, felt safe the whole time. No keypad entry, the property uses a physical key to unlock. Close to tons of restaurants and stores nearby. The clubhouse pool is a short walk away and so close to Disney!

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this property! Host was very responsive to messages and gave us his contact info if needed. It was a short walk to the pool., which was convenient! The pool at sunset was beautiful!

School Trip

We traveled to the area for my son’s school competition. The home was conveniently located, well kept and neighborhood had a ton of amenities. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Nice apartment but not perfect

The apartment came well equipped with everything you would need for cooking etc. The only thing I would say is missing is a clothes airer or somewhere on the balcony to dry clothes. Plenty of spare towels and bedding. It also included beach towels. Good location to the pool, arcade and takeaway. Only a 5 minute walk, less than. Very spacious apartment with lots of storage. A selection of items to get you started on your stay - toilet roll, hand soap etc. There were a few downsides - The main bed was very uncomfortable and hard. We ended up swapping to the smaller room where the bed had a topper and was much better. The flooring in some areas of the apartment (living room/dining area) needs to be changed. We did see this has been mentioned in previous reviews but still hasn’t been fixed properly. It’s lifting and has gaps in places in the laminate flooring. Some areas of the apartment - inside cupboards weren’t the cleanest. They could all do with having a wipe down. Blinds and behind blinds were dusty. Bits here and there were slightly tired and could do with a refresh. All in all, would recommend the apartment. Windsor Hills in itself is a really nice area with great amenities, the only issue we found was getting in and out in Uber’s. The gate process was very slow at peak times so sometimes had to wait a while to get in to the complex or for the Uber driver to get in to us.

Needs curtains in bedrooms otherwise great stay

Check in was a but confusing because the unit number was not listed on the address given but further down in the notes section. The lockbox for the key definitely needs to be replaced and there is only one key so your party can't get in separate from each other. Most places these days have a door code or electronic key. The bedrooms desperately need blackout or room darkening curtains. There was NO sleeping past 7am with the full sun coming in the rooms. Pillows really need to be replaced but luckily there were extra in the guest room closet so we just doubled up the pillows. Other than those things it was a great stay. The amenities were nice and easy to access. Great pool waterpark and workout area and just being able to walk to the pool was nice. The condo was clean and easy to get to. Plenty of kitchen items, appreciated the waffle maker and blender being there for sure. Very comfy couch and the beds were comfortable apart from the pillows. Right down the road from Walmart, Publix, and Target. Very convenient.

Very Pleasant

Our stay was very pleasant! Beautiful grounds and outdoor amenities. Clean, friendly staff including security guards at the gate. Convenient to Disney World. The condo met our expectations (large, clean, comfy beds, kitchen appliances/utensils and washer/dryer). The condo host responded quickly. Couple of things wished would be better is the pots/pans too scratched up (food would stick). Dryer took a long time to dry the clothes. Overall was very nice and I would stay again at this condo. I would also recommend it to my family and friends.

Good Trio

We had a really nice time at Windsor Hills. The property was clean and the property manager was very helpful. We had a little issue at first because the check-in procedures were recently updated by Windsor Hills but the property manager was able to get it sorted. We would go back!
