One of a series of barns on the farm, very comfortable, very relaxing, dog friendly and great for exploring the Durham/Gateshead countryside.

We were upgraded to Millers Barn which was spotless. Very well equipped. Home made cake waiting for us. Owners very pleasant and helpful. Lovely situation. We will return.
Fantastic location
Lots of walks direct from the barn
Good facilities in a quiet location
This will definitely be our accommodation of choice when visiting family in the area
Lovely property and ideal if you have a dog with you as there are a couple of great walks on your doorstep. Very welcoming hosts and on hand if needed for anything. The cottage is well equipped if you are planning to do some cooking and there is a local shop in the village for your essentials plus a Sainsbury's just a few minutes out of the village. Small tip, you'll need to pick up basics such as milk, bread, butter etc. on your way through and bring condiments with you (e.g. salt, pepper, cooking oil) as none of these are in the cupboard. This might be due to the current Covid restrictions. The homemade cake was a lovely gesture though. There's a great little Italian place next to the village shop which does lovely take-away food, recommend you try it! We would definitely stay at this property again.
Nice quiet country location. WiFi ok and information folder indicated there was an additional charge which was mentioned on the website although we didn’t need it. Well stocked equipment. Lovely cake and fresh eggs on arrival.
Quiet farm accommodation close to attractions of the area.
A comfortable barn conversion, one of several on a working farm in a quiet location yet with easy access to many attractions in the Northeast. We enjoyed a home from home atmosphere with all the amenities at hand. A bonus was the recent hot weather!
Warm, well equipped cottage on a working farm. Rural location with good walks from the cottage and many places to visit.
Comfortable beds and hot showers. Home made cake on arrival which was very much appreciated. Great place to stay and our dog was welcome. Highly recommended.
Very happy with the location and the wonderful welcome offered to us. The cottage is well-equipped, spacious and comfortable - particularly the beds . A few niggles regarding the working of various electrical goods but the owner was happy to try and sort them out.

Excellent location with tasteful decor
Needed a relaxing, quiet location to enjoy some free time with my sons. This was ideal. Even though it was a working farm, this did not become obstrusive.
