About this property

Marmotte Mountain Manor - Historical Chalet from 1668

Marmotte Mountain Manor is a stunning chalet dating back to 1668. One of the first chalets to be built in the Chamonix Valley - very old fashioned, charming and of great quality. The chalet consists of 3 levels, each level with spacious bedrooms and built in wardrobes. Marmotte Mountain Manor still has lots of its original wooden beams and stone archways throughout for guests to take a walk back in history. It also boasts of having a beautiful and private back garden that enjoys an abundance of sunshine and is equipped with an outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor terrace with BBQ and alfresco dining on offer.

Fantastic central chalet

Fantastic well equipped chalet, centrally located with incredible views. Our room was lovely , spacious yet the fire made it really cosy. Felt very luxurious right down to the very comfy bed and quality bed linen. Loved being able to eat breakfast in the garden.

This was our first time to france and we we blown away by the beautiful town, people and our Chalet. The Chalet was large enough for our family and had all necessities. Simply Sensational

This is by far the warmest and most welcoming company we've encountered in our many years of holidaying in Chamonix Valley. It is also the most seamless and well-operated network of chalets we've seen. It caters to all group sizes and tastes and features some of the finest cuisine and chefs in the valley. Whether it's winter or summer, Jon and his team have consistently shown themselves to be the most trustworthy and energetic operators in the valley. Their overriding aim is to ensure their guests have nothing short of a spectacular time...every time. Very highly recommended.

Clean comfortable and central.

From the moment we arrived we were thrilled. The chalet was handy to restaurants bars supermarket and public transport. The chalet has a hot tub Tv Wifi BBQ and a modern kitchen. Jon our host could not do enough for us. He was always available with information which we used to plan the many day trips in the local area. We will certainly return and next time we will bring some friend to share this memorable experience. Geoff Fielding Australia
