The property states that it’s sleeps 8, but in reality it’s for 4 people (2 rooms). Sofas are broken and had to sleep on the floor for the 7 nights we booked. Called the owner about this issue but never answered my complaint. At the beginning of the trip owner was nice in letting us arrive earlier to drop the luggage. The area is excellent.

great Madrid location

Property is clean, & spacious. Location is perfect almost midway between Opera and Sol metro stations. VanRays gets a 6* for accommodating visitors, with advance notice we were able to check in early. Communication was excellent. The only recommendation I could make would be for the apartment book to have a little more information on things like trash disposal. This is a very minor issue as we figured it out with some emailed help.

Lovely central place in Madrid

I rented this apartment and was very pleased with my experience there. The staff is very professional and helpful, the apartment is charming and in a very central location that makes it easy to visit places around the city on foot and by the metro. It is between Opéra and Puerto del Sol, only a few minutes walk to the lovely mercado de san miguel and the Palace. So many sites to see right there. I stayed for a month because of work, and the terrace made the experience especially pleasant. Highly recommend this place.

Great property, centrally located

Great property, exactly as pictured, with a location that can't be beat--close to major sites, but on a side street that was quiet and peaceful. Vanrays was responsive, and easy to work with; they helped us book our transfer from the airport, then coordinated with the driver to meet us at the apartment when we arrived. It was first-class service all the way. We loved our stay here, and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!
