Enter the cabin through the kitchen with its stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Through an archway is the dining area with its cathedral pointed soaring ceiling, with room for 8 at the dining table and 4 at the bar. The great room is just beyond, furnished with comfortable new seating arranged around a gas fireplace with an HDTV mounted above it. The hot tub is on a private covered deck accessed through the great room, and on the other side is a door to the open-air deck with an al fresco dining suit.
On the main level, you'll find the Primary suite just beyond the great room. This suite offers a King bed, access to the hot tub deck, and a private bathroom. At the end of the hall past the kitchen is a second King bedroom with a full bath located just in the hallway. Off the great room, you'll find a stairway to the loft with a sleeper sofa and a full bath.
The lower level of the home has a second living area with a huge leather sectional sofa and a large HDTV. It's the perfect place to relax and watch a movie, to challenge your loved ones to a game of foosball, or to enjoy a few rounds on the recently added video game table. On this level are the final two bedrooms, one offering two full beds and the other offering 2 queen beds. These rooms are separated by large sliding double doors. A full bathroom, is conveniently located on the lower level.
Situated just 5 minutes from the Mast General Store and Valle Crucis Community Park in the Dutch Creek area of Valle Crucis, Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk are 25 minutes away or less. All of the High Country's best shopping, dining, and outdoor activities are just a short drive from this lovely mountain hideaway. You're sure to love coming home to Falling Waters!
Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

-CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
