Living Areas
This villas features a professionally decorated, spacious family room with multi-channel TV, Wi-Fi high speed internet that overlook the pool and patio area. The upgraded kitchen has all the appliances and comforts of home including granite worktops, the dining room has plenty of room to enjoy meals together and there is plenty of seating poolside for dining along with loungers for catching some sun. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The bedrooms of this property continue the high end fixtures and furnishings. The first master bedroom features a large king bed with walk in wardrobe and large en-suite including corner tub and large walk-in shower. Master bedroom two feature one king and en-suite bathrooms. The final four bedrooms feature two twin singles and two queen beds, one with fun princess decor and the other with Mickey mouse furnishings so the children will undoubtedly have a memorable experience. All bedrooms have high end linens and towels to keep you comfortable during your stay. The newly remodeled bathrooms are fitted to the highest standards with modern fixtures and vanities.

Family vacation

The house was in the perfect location! The kids loved being so close to resort. The house was decent, it could use some upgrades- had no real “Wow” factor to it that you see in other listings in the community. Upon arrival, we noticed almost all of the carpets and stairs were stained and appeared dirty- we let the owner know right away. One other problem we had was the temperature of the smaller hot tub pool. The owner responded quickly and sent a maintenance guy over to fix it but it never got much hotter and the jets still never actually ran like we were told they should. One thing that would be nice is to add a vacuum to the property, it was hard cleaning any messes that come with having kids in a house. Other than those few hiccups, the stay was pleasant! The owner was very quick to respond to any concerns and issues we ran into. The house was equipped with the basics for infants as well- high chair, stroller, pack n play- those are a plus for parents with littles. The size of the house was perfect for our large family vacation! the kids also really enjoyed the pool and barely left it long enough to head to the resort!

Basic and Needing Maintenance

This house didn’t have any big bells and whistles and was basic compared with other homes we have rented. It was clearly in need of upgrades and maintenance as a home that had been regularly stayed in and had high turnover of guests since it’s construction in 2005. Examples: air hockey table didn’t work, all home windows frames that we touched were either jammed or broken, visible water/ceiling damage above the kitchen (which was below an upstairs bathroom). There was no garbage bags and little toilet paper,hand soap,dish soap and other little essentials missing upon checkin and forced us to run to the store almost immediately after arriving. Bring towels-there we’re very few of those for our part of 10. The pool seemed to not be filtering well and had a lot of residue, hair and sand that I can only imagine were from previous renters. The good thing is that it is in a great location to theme parks and has a Walmart basically across the street. The gated community was very nice and they picked up garbage daily. All of the appliances worked and the home fit our needs overall-just basic with no frills.

Quite run down in some areas

Windsor Hills Post Holiday statement 1) There were no pool towels supplied and so it would have been helpful if this information was included in your details of the villa allowing us to be prepared before our stay. 2) There were no small plastic glasses for adults use around the pool. 3) The door lock does not work on the downstairs bathroom. 4) In the Master bedroom the on/off switch does not work on one bedside lamp. This connects to the wall switch so once turned on it is very inconvenient that it cannot be switched off again from the bed. 5) The gutter above the pool needs cleaning. There are multiple plants growing in it and needless to say when it rains water just pours straight into the pool area. 6) The lanai netting has a hole in the screen to the right of the pool which is big enough to allow the local wildlife access to the pool area. Luckily it was just a squirrel during our stay. 7) The lanai netting also has a large split at the bottom of the screen at the front of the pool which is low to the ground giving the possibility of a snake gaining access. 8) The bedframes in the Mickey Mouse bedroom are a little wobbly. 9) In the same bedroom the bottom drawer of the cabinet beneath the TV was broken. 10) The shower screen in Bedroom 2 does not move smoothly on the runners and almost slides out on opening and closing. 11) The paving stones both sides of the pool are very uneven and could cause visitors to trip and injure themselves. I can supply phoographs to further explain points 5, 6 ,7 and 11

Pool problems and very bad host communication

The house is beautiful. The kids loved having TVs and Netflix in their own bedrooms. The common areas are awesome with playgrounds and community pool. Game room was fun but we didn't use it much. There's some water damage on the ceiling in the kitchen. Important to note so that you don't get charged for it. It was there when we arrived. One thing that didn't bother us, but other renters should be aware of, is that although the house sleeps a lot of people, the coffee pot will only brew around 5 cups. The only adults in our group with my wife and I so it didn't affect us. I paid in advance for pool heat and sent messages to the host ahead of time to make sure everything would be ready. I also inquired about the previous reviews stating the netting around the pool was torn. I was told all was well, repaired, and would be ready for us. When we arrived - the pool was dirty, the water was cold, and the hot-tub did not work. The kids were VERY disappointed about the pool, and after 25 hour drive I was VERY upset about not being able to relax in the hot tub. I immediately sent a message to the host, and it took them almost 2 days to respond and another day to get the pool maint guys to check it out. The maint crew identified the heater was broken! Apparently nobody bothered checking it like they said they would. Additionally, I had been LIED to about the netting around the pool - there are still big rips in it that will allow bugs in. Ultimately we were able to use the pool and hot-tub only 2 nights out of our week-long stay. The host refunded only the heating cost for the pool. I could have saved a LOT of money by booking a property without a pool for 5 of the 7 days. VERY dissatisfied with the length of time it took for the host to respond to my inquiries, the fact that I was lied to about everything being fixed and being checked and ready, and about the entire situation surrounding the pool.

Great location - great price

Best location for this size of house in Windsor Hills! Beds were all very comfortable, TVs all worked. The house was a little “tired” but when we saw the prices of the comparable sized houses in Windsor Hills and saw that they were significantly higher and newly renovated we were prepared for it to be a little worn. There were a few small items missing that we would have expected with a rental for this length of time - like a dish drying rack, a laundry basket, alarm clocks beside all the beds, and very short on hangers - but otherwise it had what we needed. A few things broke while we were there and the manager was quick to respond and ordered the repairs right away. We had such a wonderful stay and were very comfortable and happy in this house. Would definitely rent it again!

Our host was very attentive and well prepared for our arrival. We enjoyed our stay and the pool was comfortably warm even in January. I requested before we arrived for it to be heated for an additional fee and it was wonderful. Aside from some deferred maintenance the house met our expectations.

Golf Trip

We had a great time, great house. The house was located in the perfect spot and had great accommodations for everyone who stayed. Will absolutely rent this house again. One note, this dishwasher was broke.

Trip review

The stay at this location was good there were things i liked and disliked about the house i did like how spacious the house was for me and my family of 8, having a pool and jacuzzi was a plus after a long hot day at Disney and having the community pool and splash pad was great for my little ones, the things i didn’t like about this house is that the outside screen has holes and tears in it so bugs constantly got in and we even had a squirrel come into the pool area, i paid for pool warmer and whenever the jacuzzi got hot the pool got extremely cold or when the jacuzzi was off the pool would be warm i think it would have been nice to be told that i wouldn’t have been able to have both warm at the same time, the bathroom on the main floor has termites I’m not sure if the property owner knows that they only come out at night. I wish that we were told about the size of trash bags needed for them to pick up trash because we were confronted by the trash crew who told us our trash bag size weren’t the right size but other than that this house was really great

Great home

The home was beautiful and the location was great. I will definitely book here again. Everything was clean and the access was easy. We had two families and had room to spare, which was a plus. The one thing i regret was not paying for the pool warming, late June and it was not as hot as usual. Other than that great property!!

Perfect location

The location of this property is perfect if you are going to Disney or universal. You are within minutes of these locations. This house is huge and you are not crowded at all. The beds were comfortable. This house is also very close to the community pool which we very easily walk to. Make sure you are accurate on who will be driving cars into the community. They do check but this is a safety factor to keep people are not staying at the community out. You are also very close to Walmart for all your grocery or miscellaneous needs. I highly recommend this house and community.

The property was clean and neat. The only thing I didn’t like was the trash by the door when we 1st arrive but they did make that up by waiving the cost to heat the pool. I give it 5 stars
