About this property

Village Serenity, by Veeve

Village-style living in the heart of central London? That’s the clever prospect on offer at this enchantingly peaceful three-bedroom house. Sleeping up to eight guests and offering a private decked garden, this relaxing home in colourful Kenway Village is perfect for business and leisure travel alike given its location steps from Earls Court Underground station and a charming variety of family-run restaurants, cafés and independent shops...

Striking an interesting modern note with its minimalist interiors and design-led approach, the open-plan living area draws in the light through arched skylights and patio doors that provide direct access to a decked garden terrace. It’s a friendly mood also maintained in the contemporary kitchen and dining area, where the clean lines, chic white worktops and luminescent dining area reinforce this property’s confident embrace of modern design.

A sense of tranquillity abounds on the first floor which plays host to two-bedroom suites. Benefiting from plenty of natural light, the principal suite offers a super king-sized bed, bedside cabinets, desk, wardrobes, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Soothing in neutral shades, the en-suite bathroom presents a large walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet. Adorned with contemporary artwork, the second suite offers two single beds and a pull-out mattress to accommodate up to three guests, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a shower, wash basin and toilet. Quietly nestled on the second floor, the spacious third bedroom comprises a king-sized bed, mirrored wardrobe and a chest of drawers, completed by an en-suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, wash basin and toilet. After freshening up each evening, you may wish to gather for an al fresco apéritif on the decked garden terrace, secluded by a large green leafy wall, and totally private. it's a blissful pocket of calm where you can relax before exploring the lively local gourmet scene...

Great property. Fantastic location.

Location could not be better. Quiet street with short walk to restaurants and 3 pubs. Short walk to Earls Court station makes it very easy to get around the city. 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms and showers.

Great House-Bad rental company

This house is what it says-very convenient and well appointed. And it was not the fact that the washing machine and dishwasher stopped working (with our clothes inside) that was the real problem. The issue was the property management company-Veeve- was very difficult to deal with and tried to make all issues ours to resolve. We did have to put an emergency request into VRBO to help insure we got our clothes back and their response was as equally non-existent. I can only hope this does not represent the character of the homeowner and that they might consider another agent. To be clear, this is VRBO's issue to address and shame on them for being non-responsive. and by the way-don't tell me to call you to discuss-you call me.

Spectacular location!!

We had a great experience. The location of the property was as advertised, very easy to access the tube in a great neighborhood. Very nice house and most importantly roomy enough for our entire family of 6. We had a fabulous stay and the house was great!

Great property, great location! Close to subway. Loads of pubs and restaurants.

Property is spread over three levels. With 3 bedrooms located on the upper two levels. Nice kitchen, dining and lounge area. Modern and clean. It was ideal for us as a family of five with 3 teen/pre-teen children. Veeve (property managers), were friendly, efficient and helpful. Couldn’t fault our stay at all. Highly recommend.

Excellent

The patio had mops and old plastic chairs. We would have liked to sit out there as part of the small living space. Otherwise it was great. Thank you we had a wonderful time

A lot of love in this house

This was a great place for our large family. We were able to walk/stroller everywhere even with a toddler. The living space is small but we were in it so little the bedrooms were what we appreciated.

Great stay in a lovely comfortable house for 6!

Nice house - we were 6 and very comfortable. The house is close to a lot of shops and pubs, and 3min walk from the Picadilly line. Check in and check out super easy. Thanks a lot - we had a very good stay.

Why they chose this property

Kensington is a genteel district in one of the grandest boroughs in London, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It’s home to many of the city’s most significant museums, including the Natural History Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the recently reopened Design Museum. Not only does the neighbourhood have many elegant shops, churches and parks for visitors to enjoy, Kensington High Street is a hub for music and journalism too. The Daily Mail – amongst other newspapers – have their offices here, as do the UK offices of major music empires, like EMI, Universal and Sony.
