This custom built home features 2 boat slips, ample parking, screened in party room, built in bar for entertaining, birds nest room on 3rd floor offering great view of the ship channel! All new furnishings, appliances, etc. Sleeping accommodations for 9 people comfortably but feel free to bring sleeping bags, air beds, etc if you need more beds. 2 queens, 3 twins, and 1 full bed. Granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, hard wood floors, gas stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas or wood fireplace. Propane hook up in screened in room if you want to barbecue or have a fish fry.

Weekend getaway

Nice, well maintained property on the water with access to a boat slip in Hackberry. The host was responsive to questions. Plenty of space to relax and unwind woth friends and family.

Big camp with everything needed for a great fishing trip

This was the second time i've stayed at this camp. Its large enought to accommodate a a big crowd and has everything needed to enjoy your trip. The camp was clean and we had no issues. I would definitely rent this camp again.

Perfection

Wonderful stay for me, my wife, our kids, and mine and my wife's parents. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor area. The canal gave quick, easy access to the ship channel, and the house itself is extremely nice. So much attention to detail. I hope to come back very soon. Possibly the nicest VRBO rental we've ever experienced. Just need to get rid of all that ugly purple and gold --- haha, just kidding --- Go Hogs!

We had an amazing stay. The house is perfect for hanging out relaxing after hunting and fishing. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen is great. The house is well stocked and setup for a great time. We will definitely be back!

Glamp Fish Camp

Comfortable, beautifully decorated, quiet neighborhood with all the comforts (and then some) of home, camp! Our 2nd stay and it won't be our last. Rickie is very communicative, accomodating and makes you feel very welcomed. We arrived on a Sunday, TV was on NFL, with the Saints playing! They do love their Louisiana teams!! You will LOVE the camp!!

Everything was great as it was the last time.

Perfect for the sportsmen like us. Everything was available to cook. Just a few minor things you may have not notice to help with the next visitors, The cleaning shed water line is broken and we were not able to use the hose to wash down the floor. We tried with pliers and the fitting is corroded. The hose nozzle on the chair was smashed and not useable. The front door does not stay shut without have the deadbolt on. Also there are no batteries in the bed remote in the Master bedroom. Minor things, but I am sure you want to be aware of them. Thanks. We plan to be back next year.

Great Camp

Stayed here with two buddies to run offshore to fish some rigs. Dropped the boat in at the Hackberry boat launch and was in the slip within 2-3 minutes. House was well appointed, lots of towels, comfortable beds, nice kitchen for cooking. Will be staying here again if I'm back in Hackberry.

Duck hunting trip

Very accommodating for four guys on a duck hunting trip! We liked having our own bathrooms! It’s hard to find a four bedroom and four and a half bath! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect home away from home.

This property had everything you could want for some time on the lake with family. I towed my 19 foot bay boat over from San Antonio with my wife and three kids (17, 15, and 12) and my inlaws flew in from Seattle to join us for four nights. Boat slip and boat house are a short 1/4 mile from the public launch at Hackberry Fishing Club. Check in was super easy with a code to enter the back door and early check in was allowed with advanced notice. Last day there the weather turned foul with gale force north winds but that isn't the property's fault. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, just be sure to bring insect repellant. The mosquitoes outside are ferocious even in November. Still scratching bug bites.
