Very cosy and bright flat in a beautiful street with Victorian houses in Central London. There is a small kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances and crockery for cooking, a decent size bathroom and two double bedrooms. The one bedroom has plenty of empty drawers and wardrobe space while the other one is heavily utilised. Ideal for 4 friends traveling together, for family with 1 or 2 kids or just for one couple that would like a little bit more space.
The flat is very central and close to Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations for easy transportation to all london locations. Notting Hill is a 10 minutes walk while Hyde Park is only 5 minutes.

Great location steps from Paddington and Hyde park. Nice flat with well provisioned kitchen

Owner has many of her belongings in the flat but added character. Would stay here again to enjoy London.

Lovely

Just five minutes or so from Paddington and about ten to Kensington, this is well situated. It's a lovely flat with lots of light in front, and quiet in the back (where the bedrooms are). Floors are a little squeaky which is fine except when you are trying to be a mouse at 6:30 in the morning. Interactions with host/owner were nothing but pleasant. Happily stay there again if she allowed it.

Excellent flat. Well situated

Beautiful flat, clean with everything you could need. Maggie our host was available whenever we had a question. The flat is in a great location to see Londons sites. We had a fantastic time exploring London to return to the flat that felt very homey. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely days near Paddington

Great location. Lovely sunny flat with high ceilings. It felt like a home from home. Could use a bit more storage space for a family of 4 staying for several days but I did pack too much! Would definitely stay again. The owner is super nice and was always available when needed.

Hemos pasado unos preciosos días de Navidad en este coqueto y hermoso apartamento. Muy bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, a un paso de las principales atracciones turísticas y con muy buenas conexiones por metro y autobús. Se trata de un auténtico hogar y la bienvenida de Maggie excepcional, desde antes de nuestra llegada y durante toda nuestra estancia, con indicaciones muy interesantes sobre lo relativo a la ciudad. Volveremos a repetir.

A wonderful flat in a wonderful neighborhood

Maggie was very accommodating, allowing us to drop our bags off early (we landed at LHR at 7:30am) and greeting us with a smile and lots of valuable info on local shopping, etc. The flat was VERY comfortable and quiet, with the bedrooms at the back of the building, away from the road. Gloucester Terrace was not a busy road in any case and so sitting in the living room on the 3rd floor, was also relatively quiet. The walk from Paddington was easy, about 8mins from the tube exit. Since Paddington is on the Bakerloo, Circle, District, and Hammersmith lines, travel to anywhere was very easy. Also, a short bus ride took us to Portabello Rd market, which has not lost its charm over the last 50 years. For the three of us, the stay was ideal.

First Rate

There are two kinds of properties offered on Home Away (and that other service) those that are someone's home or vacation home and those that are managed as hotel rooms. This flat is emphatically in the first category. The advantage of renting a place that is lived in is that it will be better equipped. The drawback is that it may not be decorated to your taste. This flat is in a very nice area a few blocks from Paddington station. It is on the third floor, but there is a lift (elevator). The living/dining room is spacious for two, and would suite 4 fine. The kitchen is tiny, but well equipped. We are very pleased that we found this place and would stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

Excellent location in Paddington.

Perfect place for our week in London. 5-7 min walk to Paddington Station for tube, Heathrow Express, and trains. Accommodations were so quiet and well maintained.. Maggie texted as we arrived and throughout our stay. Very well equipped flat, great restaurants within minutes walk, definitely recommend!

Parfait point de chute pour visiter Londres

Nous avons été enchantés du séjour. L'appartement est très bien situé, près de deux stations de métro et un arrêt de bus. La cuisine est fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Les lits, fauteuils et canapés très confortables. Les chambres étant situées sur l'arrière un silence réparateur y règne. Je recommande chaudement cette location.

Great spot for family

So much better than a hotel room...had 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Great location close to Paddington tube, but not too close. One of the nicer tub/showers I’ve had in Europe (but not a hot tub as stated on website). Felt very safe in this neighborhood, and Maggie was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

A Paddington Gem !!!!

My five night stay was exceptional. Location to all amenities to Paddington Shops London Underground, and all major transport spots, a seven minute walk. Cosy and Bright says it all, and not to mention the host, Maggie, so approachable and available if you needed any extra info on her Property. All amenities at your fingertips, very well equipped Kitchen, comfortable Bedding, all in all would highly recommend this property. Would most certainly return here again and again. Kevin.
