The whole set up is fabulous. We are dog and electric car owners, so the cottage was perfect. Often as dog owners we have felt sidelined, not here. We felt welcomed and not an inconvenience. The cottage was warm and cosy. The manual and attached letter gave us all the information we needed. Another plus point was our own little garden and summer house, novel idea.

About the host
Hosted by Kerry and Paul Fieldhouse
We left teaching and conservation officer jobs in Leeds to bring up our children on the coast. Kerry now works as the education officer for RSPB Bempton and we are working hard to develop our 5 acres of land to attract as much wildlife as possible.
Why they chose this property
This property is perfectly located in terms of a rural feel with cows and sheep in adjacent fields as well as easy access to the coast and stunning beaches. We have the best of both worlds as well as access to a village pub, community hall with playground and school.
What makes this property unique
We have a beautiful courtyard setting as well as access to a summer house that catches the sun and spectacular sunsets. We have also developed a wildflower walk for guests to enjoy as well as hopefully spotting owls and badgers that access our site.
