La Vall de Sant Daniel, very sunny and with abundant vegetation, allows a quiet stay in a rural area but very close to the city of Girona, the house is located five minutes from the Romanesque monastery of Benedictine Nuns of Sant Daniel, twelve minute walk from the historic area of ​​the city center and twenty.

Girona at it's best

Fantastic location in a very picturesque part of the city, very clean and fully equipped property (even with the washing machine). Roser is a perfect hostess, lives next door and is always available with any help/advice if needed. Fully recommend it for a visit to Girona and the surrounding area.

A week in Girona

Riding our motorbike in Catalunia! Amazing place to stay for few days or weeks, 20 minute, strol to the walls with lits to see drink and eat... A little bus every hours or so, also goes to town if you are a but lazy. Beaches are about 40/50 minutes away, very very clean, mixture of sand and gravel. Great luttle holiday.

Really good.

The accommodation was just right for us, and the location is the perfect combination because it’s both rural and city at the same time. Landlady Roser is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only downside is finding the place! Try putting Carrer Tambor Ansó in your satnav cos Carme Auguet is definitely no good!

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful!

This house was the first one during our trip is Spain in May 2015. Roser was extremely welcoming and generous with her time. She provided a parking space right in front of her place (very useful with kids). Walking distance to downtown is 10 minutes and very easy. The house is well equipped with everything needed and has a nice and quiet backyard. I would strongly recommend this house when you visit Girona.

Lovely apartment in perfect location

We stayed in this lovely apartment for nine nights. On arrival Roser gave us a warm welcome and showed us around this immaculate apartment. The apartment was as described, but the photos don't do it justice, it has many lovely touches which make it a home from home. The location is perfect for peace snd tranquility with the hustle and bustle of Girona a 15 min stroll away. Roser was very helpful and very easy to deal with. We hope to return soon.

Séjour merveilleux à Girona et environs

Le gite est très bien situé avec stationnement de la voiture devant la maison ou a quelques pas. Idéal si vous voulez visiter le centre historique et faire de longues promenades en forêt a pied ou VTT avec des pistes a infini depuis la maison. Les journées ou soirées en terrasse sont très agréable a l ombre du tilleul et vigne (vraiment pas de PB avec les rares moustiques). Les oiseaux sont là pour vous distraire Literie confortable et maison bien équipée (idéale pour 2 a 3 personnes) On vous recommande cette location; les propriétaires sont très attentifs à votre bien être et très disponible.

Eine Tolle Unterkunft

Unser Aufenthalt betrug volle 3 Wochen in denen wir uns super wohl gefühlt haben. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber in ruhiger Umgebung und trotzdem stadtnah. Das Vermieterehepaar konnte man immer kontaktieren. Wir haben viele sehr gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und Events von Ihnen bekommen. Die Hilfsbereitschaft war außerordentlich. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Wir würden sie jederzeit nochmals buchen. Nosotros estuvimos en la vivienda 3 semanas. Los dueños de la vivienda son muy amables y nos dieron muy buenos consejos. La vivienda es muy comoda, muy limpia y tiene todo lo necesario para sentirse muy bien.

Erholsamer Urlaub in schöner Lage am Rande von Girona

Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin die im Haus nebenan wohnt. Sehr angenehm, antwortet sehr schnell, hilft sofort ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist etwas in die Jahre bekommen aber hat dadurch auch einen sehr schönen Charm. Fast alles was man braucht war vorhanden, nur Herd mit 2 Platten ist grenzwertig wenn man selber kochen möchte. Kleiner Backofen wurde auf Anfrage gleich zur Verfügung gestellt. Wohnzimmer, Küche und Terrasse sind nach Süden ausgerichtet. Sehr schöner Garten und kleine Terrasse stehen dem Gast zur Verfügung, ebenso ein Fahrradabstellplatz und der Garage. Das Haus liegt leicht am Berg in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. War 6 Wochen zum Biken, Rennrad fahren und wandern da. Bike / Wandergebiet von Girona liegt direkt nebenan 👍. Gute Ausgangsposition für RR-Touren. In die Altstadt mit all den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind es 10 Minuten Fußweg, Kleinigkeiten können im nahegelegenen und zu empfehlenden „Tante Emma Laden“ eingekauft werden. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Great base for Girona

The property is well equipped, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Has a space for parking a car (albeit on the narrow road in front of the property) and good garage for secure bike storage. There is a shady terrace for sitting out with views across the valley. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk into Girona along the Sant Daniel valley. The property is quite dark, with some of the windows permanently shuttered, but maybe that is necessary in the summer. Roser is an excellent host, and lives next door so checkin was very easy. Would recommend.

Optimale Lage

Ländlich und grün, dabei stadtnah. Man kann die Stadt zu Fuß erreichen. Es gibt aber auch stündlich einen Bus. Es bieten sich vom Haus aus weitläufige Spazier- und Wandermöglichkeiten. Ein kleines Geschäft ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, "donde hay de todo". Außerdem gibt es eine Patisserie in der Nähe und ein Restaurant, das allerdings zur Zeit nur am Wochenende geöffnet ist. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful house in the lovely valley of St Daniel. Our host, Roser, couldn't have been more friendly and kind. Great for cycling because a secure garage is available. Easy to get into the old town of Girona but a ten minute walk back to the house brings peaxe and tranquility.

Charming house near Girona

This was a very interesting stay in the quiet countryside. The house had all of the modern conveniences and plenty of room. There were lots of trails to hike, ancient buildings and it was a very short distance to walk to Girona. There was parking and a lovely back porch and garden. Roser was very helpful.

Wonderful Apartment for Exploring Girona

This was our second visit to Girona - the apartment is within a short walk to the historic city center and is in a quiet local neighborhood with a lovely view, terrace, and everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen. There are walking and biking trails right in the neighborhood. Roser and her family are lovely and will make sure that you have a perfect stay!

The Perfect Place to Visit Girona

I cannot express how much I enjoyed staying at this cozy apartment. Every aspect is perfect. Using the excellent directions, I had no problems finding the location. Roser then provided all the info needed to settle in. The apartment was spotless. There was a well appointed kitchen, with everything I needed to prepare all meals. The bed was comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet. The garden is lovely, perfect for enjoying coffee in the sun. The view was exquisite, overlooking the valley of the river Galligants with hills and walls of Girona on the far slopes. A short walk into the old town, puts one in the middle of the maze of tiny streets for which Girona is famous. I visited Girona for the cycling, and this location provides easy access to many of the famous routes. Mountain bike trails are nearby, as well. I would stay here again to continue my exploration of this region. Roser is a fantastic host, so very helpful. I cannot thank her enough for making my stay remarkable!

Beautiful Views and so homely

The property is lovely and Rosa has been fantastic. Wasn't sure about meals without an oven but managed fine. Small corner shop about 10 mins away and just down the hill tucked away is a restaurant. Being about 15mins out of town meant we had the best of both city and countryside. Thank you Rosa for trying your best to make our holidsy special. Gracias 😎

Just perfect!

Golden standard for Home Away service! Roser is a wonderful host. The house is sparkling clean, perfectly maintained and tastefully decorated. All appliances worked. No problems whatsoever. Everything you need to cook, bake, etc. was there neatly stored in designated places. The house is very quiet and comfortable. The place has a small private yard, which was awesome to sit in with coffee, or a glass of wine. Beautiful country side, yet just 10 minutes walk from old town Girona. Would definitely stay there again!
