Near the edge of a bluff overlooking the ocean, this ground-floor condominium offers fabulous ocean and coastline views. Bali Hai, the landmark mountain made famous in "South Pacific," is just one of the awesome sights that guests enjoy here.

Relax indoors or on your lanai to take in the gorgeous scenery - boats sailing by, playful dolphins offshore and, during winter months, giant humpback whales. Spectacular sunsets color the sky along Kauai's beautiful north shore in the evenings.

Lounge poolside and take a refreshing swim from time to time at the pool just a few steps away. Beach lovers appreciate the path which leads to sea level and a sandy beach below the bluff. Plan a picnic here or just laze in the warm sun, relax and enjoy the beautiful panoramic vista.

This condo is a comfortable home-away-from-home which is conveniently located near restaurants, shops and activities. The fully furnished kitchen makes it easy to dine at home and, when you wish to dine out, there are many restaurants in right in Princeville and in nearby Hanalei from which to choose. Easily walk to Hideaways Pizza Pub right at Pali Ke Kua which is open for dinner and to Princeville Resort's restaurants just a bit further away.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed six nights. Beautiful view of ocean. Generally well kept unit. Problems:very small space for the price, tv did not receive stations for two days(called provider and manager) , never really worked properly, snorkling equipment was filthy and moldy, two lamps stopped working...manager replaced one with tiny desk lamp, we had to ask that the other, a large floor lamp, be removed. It was but never replaced and filthy area where lamp had been was never cleaned. There was no cleaning service offered during six night stay.

Kauai Sunsets In an Older unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall A really good experience. A few glitches are probably related to our age.1. Upon arrival in the evening, the steep descent on the concrete sloped walk required assistance from a neighbor in the next building because the walk was not well-lit. Suitcases rolling down the slope, etc.2. The bath shower needed a shower mat because the old tile floor was slippery. We purchased one.3. Because of the kitchen size only one person can effectively work in there.4. Remember the bed is only a double if you are expecting a queen or king.Aside from those difficulties the views from the unit are gorgeous and sitting on the lanai is stupendous. The unit is well supplied even with beach accessories.The furniture is comfortable if dated, You can walk by the golf course or walk down to the lawn outside Hotel 1.The guy remodeling the unit upstairs has Tourettes Syndrome which made for some interesting sounds and and shouts from above. Morning and afternoon. The nearby Westin Hotel restaurant was really good.Overall, this unit, which dates from the 70's is really good. But could in the near future stand some updating including a newer washer/dryer.The rental agency folks are easy to work with. Because you will likely arrive in the evening, I recommend the Kauai Kiss unit stocking service to get the essentials you will need.

This was a fantastic unit!

Couldn’t have picked a better location. Fantastic view. End unit felt private even though it was shared with 8 other units. Even had our own set of resident nenes on our lawn. Unit itself was great. Nicely appointed and stocked with everything we needed and much more.

A view to the mountains out the dining area is that little extra special this unit offers. Nicely appointed, a bed a bit too firm perhaps and no AC if that’s important to you (only one of the three times did I really wish it had that).What’s not great is the price, it’s become painfully pricey so we are unlikely to rent it again.

We like unit 101 because it is the last unit of the property and offers more privacy. The view from the lanai is amazing. The location offers walking paths, restaurants, and grocery stores close by. The unit provides a washer & dryer that is convenient. The only drawback would be the living room furniture—it has been well used and is not comfortable. Some street noise.

Great stay

We had a good overall stay as the unit was as described, with nice touches of 2 sets of snorkeling equipment; a couple mats, chairs, and foam noodles. Also a few sun hats hanging by the door. Host was also responsive. Views are same as pictures, with a nice side yard to the left whilst looking out the back sliding glass door. Some info missing we would have liked to know is that the unit has slatted glass on the entryway, the bathroom, the bedroom and dining room for ventilation purposes. In addition to this noise as you can imagine, the unit itself isn’t sound proof at all; which in sure isn’t always a problems. But for us,it was as the unit above must be larger than this one bedroom unit and had a family up there that yelled, banged, stomped and honestly sounded like a construction zone nonstop while they were there. Starting before 7am and not ending until after 10 some nights. We complained once (which we have never done before) and they did respond and spoke with the parents who said “their kids got away from them this morning”. It was their whole stay which was the majority of our stay, it’s just the way their family operates and we also understand this isn’t something they could do anything about. The reason to include this info is that depending on your trip type, you may plan on being in the unit more on some trips than others or just want to sleep in and if you get a family like this; there’s not much to be done about that. For us, I would still stay here again.

The property is as advertised and more! The ocean views from this end unit were more beautiful than you can imagine. The condo was clean and the owner provided lot's of thoughtful extras. The location was walking distance to beach and great dining!! We will be back again soon to this fantastic oasis
