This is a great choice for your Kauai vacation. Air conditioned living room and master bedroom, this second floor condo is the kind of place that has made Princeville a sought-after vacation destination. The condo has been beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and includes two workstations in the spare bedrooms which are ideal for remote workers.

Located in the heart of the Princeville resort community, this condo is near a walking path, the hotel, the library, the Makai Golf Course and Princeville Shopping Center. There is a fitness center right in the complex. The beautiful white sand beaches for which Kauai's north shore is famous are a short drive away. Other activities nearby include helicopter tours, horseback riding, zipline adventures, hiking and a seabird refuge.

Shopping and dining are available right in Princeville as well as Kilauea and neighboring Hanalei. The charming town of Hanalei a few minutes away offers vintage, plantation-style architecture, a collection of eclectic shops and an array of eateries.

Beyond Hanalei is Haena and the end of the road. You'll enjoy gorgeous scenery along the way and, if you feel like hiking, you can find the trailhead for the Kalalau Trail off the parking lot at Ke'e Beach.

After a busy day of activities and adventure, you'll love coming home to your personal air-conditioned oasis with all the comforts of home.

Kaua’i Plantations - great experience
Awesome place! Inside unit is clean, roomy, comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen adequately furnished. Beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel kits available for use! Great central location, close to everything, yet nice quiet development. Pool/grill area well furnished and well maintained. Gym in clubhouse adequate for lifting/cardio workouts, and reasonable access times.The property manager was very accommodating, accessible and prompt on requests. Give them an A! We would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat.

The 2nd floor condo was quire and well appointed: fully stocked kitchen (including foil, wrap, coffee filters, spices), washer dryer with detergent, A/C, huge tub in master, sheltered patio with table and comfy chairs, beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear too! We could walk to grocery and a several restaurants and golf, better restaurants nearby in Hanalei. Enjoyed nearby Anini beach and botanic gardens. We'd definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay!
This rental was very nice! It had all the necessities and it was super clean! It was very comfortable for our family of 5. The community is very quite which I really enjoyed. It was about .5 mile to hideaway beach, about a 2 minute drive to shops and about about 7 minutes to Hanalei. It was wonderful.

Enjoyed the facility. It was furnished nicely and had all the essential amendities. This included beach accessories. The only concern I had which I understood per reviews was the outer bedrooms were not vented with air conditioning. Although fans were provided it Was still miserable. But otherwise happy with property.

While relatively small indoor space, the large lanai adds a lot of usable room (you can sit at least 6 outside), and the positioning of the windows makes the inside feel much bigger. Kauai Stay at Plantation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a wonderful week in Kauai. Our visit brought my family of 4 and an additional couple of friends to this paradise island. The stay at Plantation was perfect for us. Each day we would hit a different beach, hike, or excursion and return back to a perfect setting of the Plantation where we could relax for an hour or two by the pool, cook up some food in the kitchen, or at the pool and unwind. Everything that wa needed for cooking was readily available. The location made exploring the North shore easy and we planned for a couple of days to head to the other side of the island, with no more than a two hour drive each way. The unit that we were in was very clean, had plenty of space for 6 people, and having 3 restrooms was nice. Some beach supplies were available in the garage (chairs,umbrellas, a cooler) that made us more comfortable. Princeville is a quiet resort town with plenty of walking trails and conveniences. It was a quick drive into Hanalei for additional shopping and dining. Overall, our group was extremely pleased with our choice to stay Plantation 1521 and would definitely return.

While it’s close to airport nothing moves fast on the roads in Kauai. It adds at least 45 minutes each way. There should be another alternative. Previously when this unit was rented we used the lockbox. It’d be great if that process could return.

Very nice condo and good location. Needs some updates. But over all it was very nice. Pans did not sit on the stove very well and the dish washer didn't work great. Please clean the carpets, they were pretty dirty when we arrived.

It is a nice 2nd floor unit with garage.The large AC unit in the living area was enough to cool the whole unit. The carpet could use shampooing or replacement. The garbage trunk comes about 730am. Otherwise the unit was great and the area was peaceful.
