This beautiful old barn that was built in 1915 was moved to the current location in 2007 . In 2015, I decided to renovate it into a beautiful enjoyable living space. Honey's Place as I have named the Barn, sets in the beautiful valley east of Kalispell at the base of the Swan Mountain Range. You will be impressed by the uniqueness of the interior style, and never feel like you are staying in a 1915 barn. I had a vision of how it would turn out and the vision came true. Breath taking sunrises and sunsets can be seen from this location. Your home away from home is conveniently located between all the major attractions that the area has to offer. Minutes to Bigfork, a small eclectic town at the north end of Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park with its outstanding vistas. The towns of Whitefish and Kalispell, with their many shops and restaurants, are also nearby. You will find comfort in your stay at Honey's Place with the 4 person hot tub for relaxation after your long day's exploration of the Flathead Valley. Enjoy a cold beverage and star gaze from the hot tub area, or the 2nd story deck on a quiet country evening.
Honey's Place will comfortably sleep 4 guests. The upstairs consists of partitioned areas for 1 queen size bed and 2 full size beds. Also available, a nook for the kids gaming area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities needed for entertaining, or simply enjoying a small quiet meal. Outside seating is available to enjoy an early morning breakfast while taking in the sunrise with a cup of coffee, or taking in the the scenery during dinner. The kitchen/dining and living room area have an open concept layout. The laundry/bath combo has a roomy tiled shower.

Dream Montana Getaway at Honey’s Place

My fiancé and I had such a wonderful stay at Honey’s Place! The barn was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The hot tub at sunset after long hikes in Glacier was by far our favorite part, as well as the stargazing at night. The pleasant surprise visits from Honey, Maggie and Elton (pups) were a wonderful addition as well! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Honey’s Place to anyone!

Amazing vacation rental

This place is absolutely beautiful! Its honestly even better than the pictures. As you arrive in this picture perfect setting, the beauty of this property really starts to set in. Honeys place is remarkable, a real treasure. The property has been lovingly cared for and I definitely plan to visit again.

Go see the stars!

This property was a perfect location for my wife and I to see the Big Sky and all its beauty. Away from light pollution and noise from all other tourists to feel you are away from it all. The converted tiny home had everything we wanted, especially a nice balcony to step out and see the mountains staring back at you. The bed was very comfortable and overall this cabin was very accommodating for the two of us

Centrally Located Oasis

My husband I came out to visit Glacier National Park for our 10th wedding anniversary and loved our stay at Honey's Place. It was the perfect location for us - about 30 minutes to get to the west entrance of the park and also about 30 minutes to get to Whitefish to find good dinner spots. Honey's Place was so charming and had everything we needed for our adventures. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of hiking (and the hot tub was ah-mazing) and/or a lot of time in the car. The views were outstanding from the hot tub and the balcony deck. We enjoyed just sitting out there looking at the mountains and deer emerge from the nearby fields. Steve was a great host - very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We also loved being greeted by Honey herself, and her crew of dog friends. Having left our pup at home in Michigan for this trip, it made us smile to see their antics, give them some pets, and throw the ball for them. When we come back to Glacier, we will definitely be looking at Honey's Place again!

When we enjoy nature, we enjoy God

Beautiful place with rustic appeal that was more than we could’ve asked for. Sitting outside in the hot tub watching the sun go down, playing with the dogs and seeing the deer with a beautiful backdrop was just what we needed. It has everything a home does to feel cozy. Thank you Steve!

Honey's place was peaceful and quite. It was the perfect place for us to stay. We loved meeting Honey and her friends, Chief, Maggie, Sky, Lil D, Foxy and the too little dogs. Steve was a great host and very friendly to visit with. If we return to visit Glacier National Park again we will plan on staying at Honey's Place again.

Honey’s PALACE!

Staying at Honey’s was an absolutely incredible time! We’re city folk and travel the states in search of small country side towns nearby gorgeous hikes and national parks. This stay was just what we were looking for, from the decor to the location - stunning! Such a homey feel and Steve is an incredible host. Not to mention, Honey is just a gem! Only about a 30/40 minute drive to west glacier. We will be back! x

Honeys Place

This cabin is super cute. It has everything you will need for a long vacation. It is in a good location and the views and wildlife you may see is amazing. Honey and her other dog friend are very sweet and welcomes you as soon as you reach the cabin. The owner is very nice and communicates well if something needs worked on in the cabin or if you have any questions.

Once in a lifetime experience!

We loved our stay at Honey’s place in Kalispell! It was the perfect location to be close to Glacier and great food. The barn was extremely comfortable and it had absolutely everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care and thought went into Honey’s place. I would recommend it to everyone. The bed was very comfy and sitting in the hot tub looking at the sunset or stars was my favorite. Steve was quick to respond and very helpful. I can’t wait to return!

Quaint cabin

This was a quaint cabin with lots of rustic touches. It worked as a central location as we toured various locations in the area. The hot tub is a welcome sight after a long hours of hiking.

Wonderful Location

We loved Honey's Place as lodging for our Glacier adventures. The cabin was clean, charming, fully stocked, surrounded by scenic mountain views, and convenient to the park. We loved meeting Honey and her pals, and even made our way over to spend a bit of time with Foxy and Lil D. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again for Glacier.

Definitely what you see is what you get! Beautiful and cozy home with everything you could need! The views are amazing! Close enough to town and Glacier Park, but far enough out to have peace and quiet. The furry friends on site were a great bonus!

I work as a Nurse at a local hospital. I am a Midwestern Boy from a little town called Defiance, Ohio. Moved here in 1998 following my cousin, Chuck Haney, a famous photographer from Whitefish, MT. I have a dog named Honey, hence the name of the Barn. I enjoy hiking, biking, camping, skiing, rafting. I know the the Flathead Valley area very well and will be happy to help you with any planning needs you might have so you can best enjoy your visit here. I live in the main house next door and will answer any questions or needs you and your guests may have. I will accommodate for 1 night stays-in between other filled dates.

Located 30 minutes or 33.9 miles to the entrance of West Glacier, Glacier National park, 20 minutes to Bigfork, MT/ Flathead Lake and 40 minutes to Whitefish, MT. Centrally located between it all, quiet tranquil country setting, close to the mountains. Winter time activities include Whitefish mountain resort & Blacktail ski resort in Lakeside. Several areas for cross country skiing.

What makes this property unique

There's nothing quite like staying in an old renovated barn. Star filled skies at night, sitting in the 4 person hot tub with your family & friends, and a cold beverage in hand.
I recycle cardboard and aluminum.
I have 2 blow up paddle boards $25 each per stay, $5.00 for each bear spray & same for hiking poles per visit.
