Cute privately owned Cabin On Wilson Lake Is located in a beautiful lakefront Resort area with Pool, Boat Rental, beach area, plus clubhouse area can be rented for events. We are approximately 25 mins from Muscle Shoals Alabama home of Legendary Muscle Shoals Sound & Fame Recording, 30 Mins From Florence Al home of the University of North Al. and WC Handy Festival and many other music venues, approximately 15 mins from the beautiful Robert Trent Golf Course The Shoals.
This fully furnished home requires you to bring only your clothes and food. You can relax on the screen porch with ceiling fans or step down a few steps and enjoy grilling. A few steps away and you are on the dock, ready to fish, boat or just relax. There is a boat ramp on resort property and you can tie your boat up to our dock right in front of the cabin. Also, boat rental available through the resort.
Features a very equipped Kitchen with granite countertops, 2 story Great room with large stone fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1bedroom(Queen -Size Bed) on the first floor with bath, 2 bedrooms (one with a queen & one with 2 twins) on the second floor with Jack and Jill bath. There is a couch and Love Seat in the great room.

This was a cozy cabin in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very clean and had a nice back patio and outside area that we really enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

The property was beautiful. The host was great. Communication was perfect. It was a great stay. Hope to do it again soon. The only issue I have is I wish there was a no wake zone up on the docking area for our personal watercrafts as other boaters went by it gave me anxiety worrying about damage to our and others watercrafts that were docked..

Great Cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the peace and quiet! The views are beautiful and Lori was great to communicate with. The screened in porch is so nice and they also have a nice hammock and fire pit available. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Perfect getaway!

Everything about this cabin was perfect! The pictures honestly don’t do it justice! Beautiful scenery- especially from the rockers on the screened in porch! Hostess was excellent to work it, and even let us know about a nearby eagles nest to check out while we were here. Will definitely be back!!

Perfect Weekend Get Away

Just A Great Vacation

Absolutely loved the screened-in porch. Practically lived in it the entire time. Everything we needed was there. Communication with the owner was excellent. The house is on a nice, quiet little inlet. Very peaceful. We will be definitely be back!

This place wasin a beautiful area the cabin was clean it needs some updating on something the air wasnt work great glad it wasn't real hot but she is aware of it so it should get fixed. But over all it was great... the owners are very nice. The veiw is awesome looking over the water

Great lake getaway!

This really is a great little property, and Lori was a very responsive host. If I had any things others should know they would be: 1) The channel is VERY shallow. You've really got to hug the near shore if you bring your boat. 2) Not sure if it's seasonal or not but the whole channel had a nasty moss floating everywhere so swimming off the dock was not an option. 3) I don't think there is AC in the upstairs bedrooms....really could use ceiling fans up there. Wilson Lake is beautiful, and this cabin really was a fun stay for adults and college aged kids. We would definitely rent again!

When we arrived at the cabin two tornados had just hit the area. but the cabin was safe and fine except for the power was out for several hours. Once the power was back on every thing was fine. The owner keeping in contact with me about the power situation until it came back on was greatly appreciated. Only other problem was with the bath towels put in the wrong place on top a mouse glue trap and problem was not corrected the next day like owner stated. Over all stayed fine.

Weekend Getaway

The house was very clean and in a beautiful location! You dont have any neighbors on one side so that gives you a little more privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed our trip very much! Lori has been available to answer any questions and has been a super hostess! Do be aware if you have stayed at Doublehead before, it’s not quite as easy to rent boats and golf carts as it used to be. We went off property to a marina to rent a pontoon boat for the day, which we had done before right there at the resort. We couldn’t get anyone to answer the number provided. Turned out fine and was not a problem at all. We brought a canoe and kayaks and put in right behind the house. There are some small rock ledges at the waters edge that made it super convenient to put in. Wonderful weekend with family!!

nothing like the photo, no grass, no chairs, broken hammock, no screened porch

I was given a different cabin at the last minute & the one thing I said was we wanted to be outside. The hammock was broken, there were no chairs or grass, just dirt. The staff worked on the hammock for two days, so there were workers there every time we wanted to sit outside. The hammock got fixed by the last day, but I guess another rented demanded our picnic table, so here come the golf carts again and they are hooking up a chain (this took several attempts) & dragging off our picnic table, while we were still there! I do not blame the staff. The entire time we were there, we had to look at the cabin we thought we were getting but did not get. Knocking 10% off was not enough, we were not able to have the vacation we had planned.

Peaceful

This was the perfect cabin, we went specifically to fish and the dock was outside the back door which made it nice to sit in our chairs and just relax while we fished. Loved the beautiful cabin, the screened in porch, and the hammock in the back yard. The community was a wonderful safe place to walk and enjoy a relaxing time. We will be back!
